I graduated from fulshear a couple days ago and it completely changed my life. I came into fulshear with chronic suicidal ideation, a severe self harm addiction that had already lasted 9 years, extremely ingrained self hatred, and substance abuse problems. I was at fulshear for one year, divided into 6 months on the ranch and 6 months at the apartments. The ranch was so difficult. It pushed me to my extremes, but the staff there made it so that I felt loved. The apartments were less difficult in some ways, but more difficult in other ways, it was essentially a test to see how much I was able to apply what I learned on the ranch. I had some setbacks, but I pushed myself and got a job, did school, and applied to college. The staff here is my family, they love me unconditionally, and just feeling so loved has helped me so much. I have met so many people that I know will be in my life forever. I found my best friends in this program, and I still talk to them every single day even after they graduated. I am now no longer suicidal, I am a year and 3 months sober, 8 months free of self harm and 9 months out from my last suicide attempt. Because of fulshear I finally understand what it feels like to be normal. I have been to countless programs, but if you are willing to work hard, and want to go to a program that will actually work. PRC Cinco was the perfect choice for my recovery. I completed the PHP program and cannot recommend it enough to those battling addiction. The program and curriculum are wonderful, but it s Glenn (the counselor), who I will always owe my sobriety and so much more to. I have to say that I did not want to come to a treatment facility, but once I got to Taylor Recovery in Sugar Land, I new I was at the right place! Stephanie And the techs(Aj1,Aj2, Crystal, Jordyn, Kayla,Lauren, Haley) handled my intake with the utmost professionalism! They made me feel safe! The nursing staff(Jessica,Nichelle,Bre, Taya,Khadija ,Sherelle,Terry,Kat,) and all,did an excellent job keeping me healthy! The chefs John and Jose provided excellent food! Housekeeping ( Maria-Latoya) kept things very sanitary! Leo (nature walk/breathing technique exercises) was amazing! The counselors (Kourtney,Glenda,Mrs.jude) kept me honest,and special recognition to Dr. Jayne and the Clinical Manager (Eric) who were extremely instrumental in directing my journey to recovery. I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

I took my child there for about 3yrs. It was a huge help! They provided my child with tools to help her deal and process different situations in life. At first it was a bit slow because my child was apprehensive but once she started opening up, then there started to be progress. Understand that this is a two way street. You get as much as you put into it. Also, as a parent you have to be open and willing to take responsibility for your part, as well as patient and understanding of the process. The change and progress is gradual. I beg you from one parent to another, don t be the one to stump your child s emotional and mental health. I went here years ago so maybe my memories are tainted but I credit this place with helping me maintain sobriety during my probation. Although you are not able to drink when you're on probation, it's still a choice. I feel like I was able to freely let my counselor and my group know when I thought about drinking. My counselor even took the time to get to know my family and Council all of us. This was a very bad time in my life but I truly enjoyed going to group and even when I didn't want to go once I got there I was always okay. Even though I had lost all hope of ever being anything but a junkie, I got what I desperately needed most: a second chance - and people who were willing to invest their time, and even their very lives to show me what it means to follow Jesus Christ and to live my life for Him. To date, I am going on 30 years of being not only drug free, but being a happy and productive member of the community where I live. My husband and I have three beautiful children and have been married for 22 years this year. Kemah Palms Recovery has saved my life! All of the staff was amazing! I d like to give a special shout out to Paul. He put his sweat and tears into this recovery program. My 24 year old son completed the entire program at the IAR facility in Houston, twice. I considered both stays very successful; my son's improvement has been remarkable. The staff was great about communicating to me. I would particularly like to commend Cory McCork, who constantly reached out to my son to make sure he was OK during his relapses. Cory answered the phone at some pretty unusual times when I needed help or advice. He has a lot of experience and very good judgement.

Hitting my sobriety year mark so I finally feel comfortable leaving a review. I am so grateful I went to IARC and listened to the program they implemented. Cory as everyone has said is great with following up. The only 2 things negative were the lack of female sponsors available. Although I understand statistically there are less women in recovery, it was still something I did not have. I m glad I went and got my own as soon as I got back home. I know that at the end of the day it is still a for profit center but maaaan do they push sober living. Most of us were adults that had to go back to their kids, so it wasn t an option and we were often made to feel like we would relapse without going into sober living. Ive beaten the odds on that so far. My favorite things were the counselors like Ms D and Richard s morning readings. Ms D if you are still there I want you to know I still quote your little nuggets of wisdom and I miss the sound of your angel voice. Oh I m so grateful I had the option to utilize the gym! The food will get you fat as f&@k so try to stay active. In the end You either want recovery or you don t. I know I couldn t have gotten sober on my own. I believe 1000% that IARC helped show me the way. So if you re looking at reviews debating I am telling you right now don t wait. Let this be the one that makes you pick up the phone and get help.

Into action recovery changed my life especially after I came back home to New Mexico. I still have a staff member Corey McCormick who reaches out to see how my recovery is going. Makes me still feel part of the community out there ! And reminds me of my experience strength and hope I gained from my time out there !! 10/10 would recommend for anyone struggling and looking for a solution!

I had the opportunity to Complete my practicum hours at Positive Recovery, Montrose location, as a drug and alcohol counseling student. I highly recommend their services. Even the techs were so helpful n friendly i went in on 7-23-23 everything was good towards the end i got a couch how lucky was i to get couch AUTUMN ha she talked about my pants not being fancy enough for community saying i wasnt serious that I don t want to b sober ( hint I was in rehab willingly) n basically ignored me wouldn t help me get help with anything literally SHE DID NOTHING for me n the day I graduated im all proud n happy she walks up to me says im not gunna b ur couch, u don t want this ur no hope bye I told the lady in charge she said she has to it s to late , o well just go ask another couch other couches had already left or said they were full so while Santa Maria was great couch AUTUMN shouldn t b a couch if that s how she thinks while Santa Maria was setting me up for greatness the one person that s supposed to b ur support on the outside tryed to set me up for failure n Santa Maria as a whole don t need her mentality in a place like that ur supposed to couch help not tear us down

The staff was all very nice, extremely helpful with the TMS process and Ins/Billing. They gave me several different payment options after the 1st of the year when my deductible started over. The TMS procedure itself was not painful and helped lower my medication dosages. I feel like it has helped me. I look forward to see the full results after my treatments are complete.
