Everybody seemed HAPPY to be at work (about 4-5 staff members). That's always a good sign of a good work space. Second was a very low adult:teen ratio (many adults to few teens) which let me know there is very little chance for missteps with resident whereabouts; and as an added bonus, there were zero adults using cell phones! Third and most important was the professionalism and knowledge of the young and thorough intake officer D'Mani. She spoke with such mastery and courtesy and reassurance, that I could actually exhale at the notion of leaving my most precious part of me here-alone, that is, without a family member. I've been to many other recovery centers and this one is by far the best one I've been to. The therapy and counseling is on point, no bs and no beating around the bush. Every time I went to group, the sessions got very deep, and that is exactly what a person with any addiction needs. Not only that, the staff treat you very kindly and are always open to support you. Also, the food is AMAZING. They have a chef that prepares 3 REAL meals a day and is always a different meal (who wouldn't want that?!). There are many things to do for closure too, like games and movie nights. If you are worried about detox, the nurses will fix you right up. My diagnosis was reached in a matter of 5 days and I had a team of personal psychiatrists and doctors attending to my mental and physical health. Amazing experience and I left inpatient missing it and wanting to go back. I’m doing PHP now and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Dr Lin and Dr wolfenburger were absolutely incredible and very well rounded individuals who knew what they were doing. I heard just horrible things about Dr Limmons though. There had been multiple patient advocate calls made against her. So stay out of her way. You will get better here no matter what happens. everything at Menninger was designed for you and you alone, for your journey, for your physical health, for everything. thank you Menninger. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either 1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I am a changed, renewed, and hopeful person because of the care The Orchard showed me during my 30-day stay. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. First impressions: First thing I noticed was the positive energy emanating from various staff members. Everybody seemed HAPPY to be at work (about 4-5 staff members). That's always a good sign of a good work space. Second was a very low adult:teen ratio (many adults to few teens) which let me know there is very little chance for missteps with resident whereabouts; and as an added bonus, there were zero adults using cell phones! Third and most important was the professionalism and knowledge of the young and thorough intake officer D'Mani. She spoke with such mastery and courtesy and reassurance, that I could actually exhale at the notion of leaving my most precious part of me here-alone, that is, without a family member. At this initial visit I feel confident that my family member will leave this facility emotionally and psychologically better than when he arrived✝️.

The odyssey home is where you come and get away from everything so you can better yourself. you may not like it all while your in there but deep down you know it’s doing you better mentally and physically and showing you how strong you can be when you finish the program all the staff are great people just have the same respect you would want towards you. Everyone isn’t gonna have a perfect day every single day but you gotta focus on why your there and what you need to do so you can go back home and spent time with your family cause when you in there you start thinking about all the stuff yoh missed out with your family and how much of a privilege it is to have your family around but you don’t notice that till your in there and see how much time you been playing with your life there is a privilege for you to become great within yourself you just have to put the work in and show your family that you can make a change for once in your life. This place have gave me so much to hope for due to the staff Ms.jasmine, Mr>derrick, Ms.talisha, my counclor Ms.rachel and many more of the staff. The love each of these people have for the patients and care its unexplainable. coming from using hard drugs and not having a sense of care for myself and to walk thru these doors and the arms are open to love you till you can love yourself is amazing, me going back out and relapsing and scared to come back but when I thought about the staff and how much love the gave me I was ready to walk back in the doors and now I feel so much stronger because how much they have put so much love in me again. I'm forever grateful for this place and I always tell others who suffer from addiction that this is where I found myself again, and many found the same from their experience also. I LOVE this place. I've been to many other recovery centers and this one is by far the best one I've been to. The therapy and counseling is on point, no bs and no beating around the bush. Every time I went to group, the sessions got very deep, and that is exactly what a person with any addiction needs. Not only that, the staff treat you very kindly and are always open to support you. Also, the food is AMAZING. They have a chef that prepares 3 REAL meals a day and is always a different meal (who wouldn't want that?!). There are many things to do for closure too, like games and movie nights. If you are worried about detox, the nurses will fix you right up. This place has been very helpful and fun too, so I really do recommend Taylor Recovery if you are looking for just the right place.

Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. Glenn, one of the counselors at the Cinco Ranch location, is very insightful and actually in recovery himself. He could relate to what I've been through and what I go through daily. This program is just different. Ive been in programs before and they were very surface level, but if youre willing to put in the work, these therapists and counselors are determined to help you in the healing process and deeply. This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I'd recommend to anyone I know. they stick to the values they have but greatly exceed them. they truly love their clients... now I'm a changed man and can chase my dreams to the fullest. I went to inpatient at Menninger on the 27th of march and came out a week later. My sleep is amazing, my anxiety has been HEALED. My diagnosis was reached in a matter of 5 days and I had a team of personal psychiatrists and doctors attending to my mental and physical health. Amazing experience and I left inpatient missing it and wanting to go back. I’m doing PHP now and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. Dr Lin and Dr wolfenburger were absolutely incredible and very well rounded individuals who knew what they were doing. I heard just horrible things about Dr Limmons though. There had been multiple patient advocate calls made against her. So stay out of her way. You will get better here no matter what happens. everything at Menninger was designed for you and you alone, for your journey, for your physical health, for everything. thank you Menninger. (i went to the kids unit for 3 weeks and just left yesterday, im 16!!) this place is genuinely so amazing, the people who work there are all such sweethearts and i'm gonna miss them so so much :( i came in extremely suicidal and i had self harmed so many times before i came, but i left with actual hope and excitement to keep going in life. it's not just a mental hospital, it's a place where you meet extremely interesting people to relate to and heal/stay safe from whatever you're going through. it didn't fix me, but it made me stable and confident in my future and mental health/stability. my heart goes out to all of the staff and the other patients i met, love you guys so much!!!!!! i'll miss you guys :(( (especially mr orion, jarvis, anjali, taty, amanda, larry, etc etc bc there's so many lol)

I was a patient here and was treated fairly good, there really isn’t much communication with the psychiatrist to the therapist to you about discharge dates, or more information about your treatment plan but the therapist make up for it. I was blessed to have Mr. Z and Ms. Samurah as my therapists and can not emphasize enough!! To give them full credit of my mental health improvement. With them I have truly progressed so much and got the right therapy for me. Being able to talk to them and getting the right support from them has made me able to be more adaptable, find the right coping mechanisms for me, and accept my struggle and truly learn from this and grow as a person. Thank you to them! There are no complaints in that department. I hope they see this and continue to help other people and empower them just like they did for me. Thank you thank you thank you. Although one complaint is the lack of communication given to you about your schooling. I got super behind and just wish that my assignments could have been either 1. Sent directly to me or 2. Once I returned to school, given extra time to complete everything that I missed out on. I really had to vouch for myself when I got back to school to be given time to turn in everything without late points. In general not too bad of a place coming from a patient that had my stay.

This place was highly recommended for adolescents. Took us a while to finally commit because of the reviews. We have been attending here for several weeks and I wish I did not hesitate. Each and every staff member I have met has gone above and beyond for my family member. The treatment recieved positively radiates through them! Everyone collectively has been excellent. I am so glad we gave Houston Behavior a chance to treat my family member who has improved and keeps improving every week! Thank you all in PHP and IOP, and the lovely lady who always greets us when she opens the door!!

My experience at West Oaks Hospital was fantastic for one big reason. Ms Sharon was the best case manager we ever had for my son. He is diagnosed with Wairente Kosocoff which is very hard to deal with. They always want to leave. Allan, my son would do anything she asked and was very comfortable during his stay once Ms Sharon took over. I would highly recommend West Oaks hospital Don Green.

This is one of the most incredible, inclusive, and inspiring facilities I have ever had the pleasure of attending. The staff members are some of the most compassionate and intelligent people to walk the earth. From the dietitians to the therapists, from the techs to the facilitators, everyone there is so educated and beyond qualified for their position. And, aside from just their job description, they are some of the most empathetic and incredible people I have ever met. At admission, I was not buying the entire recovery thing. But since then, I have learned things here concerning my self and the world that have forever transformed my life and my perspective on it. Please read both posts regarding Brittney and Diandra Brittney Williams is the personification of excellence. She is personable, kind, professional, and responsive. She will return telephone calls and send text messages. Brittney is also an outstanding resource, just a fount of information: I used the list of group homes to ferret out suitable housing arrangements for my family members. No matter how frequently I reached out to Brittney to effectuate the discharge of my family member, Brittney's behavior never changed, and her receptiveness never wavered. What a rarity! My family member has been hospitalized at Belaire for several weeks. And, during her stay, she has been BLESSED to have Nurse Joy Blue as one of the medical practitioners who helps her on a regular basis. Why is Nurse Joy so special? Because she has taken the time to get to know my family member. Nurse Joy realizes that people who are mentally afflicted are still human beings, God's children, who should be treated with dignity, civility, and respect. I’m leaving a much needed review. I found West Park Springs from a truancy officer who directed me to New Dimensions One person led me to 30 more. I finally got to a woman by the name of TJ who works who works for West Park Springs she helped me stay calm in the middle of the worst storm of my life. Most people told me I can’t help you or your son can’t be helped my anxiety went from one extreme to another but TJ has never given up or not taken a call she has been there when no one else would she has gone above and beyond any job or person could ask and for this I thank God for!!! I prayed and then she spoke what I was praying “Lord please send your angels to protect me and my son through this nightmare and please bring the right people “ she then told me all of the right people are going to help and I knew right then and there my prayers were answered Thank you God and thank you TJ!!!
