My wife and I are grateful for the program here at The Orchard on the Brazos. The team there has shown that a program uniquely designed to treat addiction while maintaining dignity is the best way to achieve and maintain sobriety. Additionally, their family programs are second to none. We attended a weekend event that was incredibly helpful to us. And, my wife and I have been attending their weekly family zoom meeting for 16 months. Not coincidentally, our loved one is 16 months sober. This meeting, run by Fallon has been instrumental in our own recovery. Fallon provides a very safe space to discuss various topics pertinent to family recover. We're very grateful for these meetings and plan to continue attending.

Unfortunately, we have had two experiences with the Orchard with two of our adult children. I wrote unfortunately, because no one should have to experience their children battling addiction. We had previous experience at another organization that was fruitless. This was a whole new version.
The professionals at the Orchard care not only for the residents, but also provide forums for the family members as well. It is a welcoming caring environment, where family participation is encouraged, because we all need healing in some respects.
For those who are just about at their wits end, there is hope. Let me also say this is not a miracle place, our kids have work that they need to do. As a Dad, I would encourage you to fully check out the facilities, programs and staff. We have been very blessed with our experiences.

The people at The Orchard truly care about their residents. They also care about the recovery of family members of the addict. If you or a loved one struggle with addiction I highly recommend The Orchard. It is very different than any other rehab facility I have come across and I am forever grateful that we found it!

This place have gave me so much to hope for due to the staff Ms.jasmine, Mr>derrick, Ms.talisha, my counclor Ms.rachel and many more of the staff. The love each of these people have for the patients and care its unexplainable. coming from using hard drugs and not having a sense of care for myself and to walk thru these doors and the arms are open to love you till you can love yourself is amazing, me going back out and relapsing and scared to come back but when I thought about the staff and how much love the gave me I was ready to walk back in the doors and now I feel so much stronger because how much they have put so much love in me again. I'm forever grateful for this place and I always tell others who suffer from addiction that this is where I found myself again, and many found the same from their experience also. Fulshear saved my life—twice.
I first went to Fulshear in 2021 after moving to Texas. I gained the tools I needed to manage my mental health and really found healing there. One of the most impactful parts of my experience was equine therapy. I was a barn manager and caring for the horses gave me a deep sense of purpose. I also made connections that I still carry with me today.
In 2024, I returned to Fulshear when I was struggling with substance use. I knew it was the place I needed to go, and once again, it changed my life. My therapist, Courtney Deadman, is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She’s inclusive, compassionate, and truly gifted at what she does. The family work we did together completely transformed my relationship with my parents—I’ve never communicated with them so well. Courtney held my light when I couldn’t, and now I can hold it proudly on my own.
The rest of the clinical team—especially Micah and Injila—also made a huge impact. They led powerful groups and always made me feel seen and supported. The entire staff is truly exceptional.
I also want to shout out the admissions team—Helaine is my hero. She supported me with so much care and compassion, and even checked in on me after I left treatment. She and her daughter Della are an amazing team and two of the most genuine, kindhearted people I’ve ever met. I’m beyond grateful for them.
If you’re looking for a place that can truly help you heal, grow, and take back your life, I cannot recommend OPI Houston enough!!! Best of luck on your journey!

I came into the ranch broken lost and hurting. I had a lot of trauma from my childhood and my young adulthood that I never processed. As a result I was struggling with addiction, depression anxiety, you name it. Before the ranch I was use to abusive relationships, codependency, homelessness and isolation. I spent 3 months on the ranch and completely transformed my life. It was a lot of hard work. And I honestly wanted to change my life. I knew I was not living the life I was meant to live. I have nothing but good things to say about Fulshear. The staff is amazing and I believe in the program. Since Fulshear I am now 10 months sober. I live in a safe home and I'm able to have healthy relationships. I am back to working and even won employee of the month. I still continue with working with a therapist, which I will probably always continue to do in my life. It's a life long journey. But I was able to start and gain tools to start my healing and new life. I even found good friends at treatment that I still stay in touch with and we continue to love and support each other to this day. Fulshear will always hold a special place in my heart.

I loved it here. Cassandra and Gabe both helped me work through some pretty tricky emotional stuff that lay at the root of my addiction, as well as the inevitable struggles that go along with recovery, with a sense of kind humor and compassionate honesty that allowed me to be honest with myself. It was a form of treatment free of shame or accusation that really allowed me room to grow into my next, much healthier, phase of my life. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s feeling as if life has gotten out of hand.
Also would like to thank Bridget and Colby, the RA’s who would talk to me at length outside of treatment time…I just really enjoyed their company and insight

It has been almost 2 years and this place made me see that there are people who are going through tougher situations than me. I grasped through faith and now I feel much better. My experience was full of unexpected surprises with my other fellow patients, however we all got along like civilized adults. It was scary at first, however I have experience with the springs mental health hospital buildings. I first experienced the springs when I was a young teen with issues in the woodlands springs and when I turned 18 I got to see maturity among others adults in Westpark. My niece was recently receiving services here, and all I have to say is Wow! Whoever is in charge of therapy for teens has left a solid impact on my niece s life. What an incredible, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome place and community this place is! I was searching for a PHP/IOP/Sober living facility for weeks to help me continue on my path of recovery and as soon as I made my first phone call and spoke to Jacob I knew it my heart I had finally found the perfect spot for me. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful and supportive, the group sessions along with my peers helped me fully understand this disease and without them I’m not sure if I would’ve made it. My appreciation and gratitude for this program are through the roof and I would HIGHLY suggest anyone who needs help with addiction and mental health and staying sober to contact this place. My boyfriend is currently going thru the 28 day program part of this facility and we haven't been able to talk to each other or anything not sure about writing letters as I was not provided an address to be able to send mail to but that would be nice to help get thru and be able to communicate at least thru mail but with this program they have been able to help my bf help himself in wanted to stay clean and sober and live a totally different life I'm just ready for us to start this new chapter of sobriety together and raise our kids together and be sober not only for ourselves but for our babies
Also the person I keep calling in the call center they never have anyone give a return call as to when my bf will be getting out or how I would know when to pick him up after the 28 days he's not court ordered he went on his own will so not sure if that changes things or not but other than that I've heard a lot of good things so I know he's being taken care of

I wasn't there for long, but I can see the good this place does for people. I left due to inner conflictions of faith, but that wouldn't be the case with the vast majority of people who come here. I would recommend to 99% of people who have addiction issues, as this place is a hidden haven for those who need it the most. I appreciated a lot of the staff. The fact that all of them used to go here at one point gives another element that adds to the success of this place. Appreciate the willingness to help and to accept anyone no matter who they are. I went through the Bay Area Recovery Center, and it completely changed my life. After getting a DUI, I was required to go through this program to keep my job — but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.
I’ve now been clean and sober for almost 10 months. The staff truly care and helped me believe in myself again. A huge thank you to Mr. Billy and Blake and everyone there for guiding me through my recovery.
My DUI was recently dismissed, and I believe it’s because God saw the change in me. My wife and kids thank you too — you didn’t just help me, you helped restore my family. If you’re struggling, I highly recommend this program. It gave me my life back.

I go there all the time for therapy and it's also a resale shop so there are many clothes and stuff like that. It's an awesome environment everyone is very sweet and if you were in Irish needs there is food available. They were also help with any issues you're having money wise or anything like that. I think it's one of the best places here in bacliff for helping people in bad situations.

When I have a patient in crisis, Dawn, the Sr. Business Development Representative is one call away, to assist with getting my patients the help they need at Woodland Springs. They are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the well-being of their patients. The treatments my patients receive there has been transformative; They feel supported every step of the way. I can’t speak for all departments but so far I’ve had a good experience with the dental department and primary care. Dr Ali is outstanding and you can tell he actually cares about veterans. He made it a point to call me directly, outside of normal business hours to make sure I was okay after a series of events. Thankful that so far I have received good care.
