The nursing staff, Jessica and Brianna, also deserve a shoutout, they were attentive and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even when I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I was depressed and drank daily. I was a resident of the PaRC for 60 days and it changed my life. Even though it was a bit of tough medicine, I love the place.Thay time away from alcohol and a tight schedule of classes allowed me to think about what I am doing with my life. The councilors helped me process childhood trauma that I carried around for decades. I completed the whole program. In addition to helping me realize that my alcoholism is ruining my life they taught me how to have purpose and improve my life. I live far from the PARC but the IOP councilor gave me all the tools I need to integrate myself into my local recovery community. They have an aftercare program that helps you when you are on your own in the outside world. I could tell the staff wants me to succeed and lots have gone through my same struggle. I wish I would have gone to the PARC years ago. I have gotten so much from the program and will be forever thankful. Also the food was great. Because I see the low numbers, and I don't think it's a fair deal to give a negative review for negative experiences in a system that's full of bureaucracy. When people are just trying to do their jobs, the only complaint I have about this clinic is that I can't keep a primary care physician. They keep leaving, but that has nothing to do with the clinic that's, I don't know, maybe the theory. The doctors aren't happy with the pay or the bureaucracy or the workload. I don't know, but it's a lot asked of them to help us veterans. So I appreciate the effort that they put out every day. They come to work, they deal with us. Sometimes we can be difficult as vets, because we have a lot of issues that we're dealing with the military can really screw you up Lionel, so for them to have the patience, anybody in the medical field, my mom was ALV. N for 24 years before she passed and my hat goes off to anybody in the medical profession. Because I know it's not easy work. Some of the stories she would tell when she came home were horrifying, and I hope that I don't ever become one of those problem patient. Um, but this is just a shout out to the K. V. A the wait times aren't that long. I've never had to wait 22 long for an appointment and if they have the availability in the schedule, they'll fit you in.So I guess it's all a matter of perspective.You can go into a situation with a negative attitude and get a negative experience, or you can go in with a positive attitude.And if negative things happen, they brush off of you.So my advice is to just be calm and be patient. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. When I say staff, I mean EVERYONE. From the techs, to the medical staff, to the housekeeping(they do your laundry), to the groundskeepers, counselors, everybody. This is world-class, luxury, top-tier care. I am a changed, renewed, and hopeful person because of the care The Orchard showed me during my 30-day stay. From the beautiful people who maintain the breathtaking 132 acres, to the very top of the medical/ clinical team — and of course Dan — every single person is beyond exceptional. I truly believe the “secret sauce” everyone talks about at The Orchard is community. It begins with the people who dedicate their lives not only to their own sobriety, but to ours as residents as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who welcomed me into their care with open arms — with no judgment, no preconceived notions, and every willingness to give me the help, the space, and the love I needed to heal from trauma that resulted in addiction. If you are looking for a place to become renewed and begin your recovery journey, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to take a hard look at The Orchard. Set along the Brazos River, the land itself feels special. When the Indigenous people named this river , they could not have known it would one day feel like “the arms of love” to so many. My counselor, Ms. Kimberly Isaac, was amazing — she took the time to actually understand what I was going through and helped me work through a lot of stuff instead of just going through the motions. The nursing staff, Jessica and Brianna, also deserve a shoutout, they were attentive and made sure I was taken care of every step of the way, even when I wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. Positive Recovery is a game changer. I've been on my own recovery road for years by myself but l've never been able to connect all the pieces to stay sober. PRC provided me with tools I could use on a day to day basis that help me through life's situations as they come. This program is just different. Ive been in programs before and they were very surface level, but if youre willing to put in the work, these therapists and counselors are determined to help you in the healing process and deeply. This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I'm at a loss for words for how great this place is and their team... i have extreme PTSD and akathisia and now no akathisia and plenty of new coping skills for my PTSD, some causes derived from the other psych wards I've been to for my depression and akathisia, so i was scared to come here but Menninger made me feel more at home than my own house also extremely safe too. I've had such a great experience I now consider staff my family. I will take the time to write a longer review. I highly recommend. I am glad that my doctor told me that the PaRC is the best place for me. I was depressed and drank daily. I was a resident of the PaRC for 60 days and it changed my life. Even though it was a bit of tough medicine, I love the place.Thay time away from alcohol and a tight schedule of classes allowed me to think about what I am doing with my life. The councilors helped me process childhood trauma that I carried around for decades. I completed the whole program. In addition to helping me realize that my alcoholism is ruining my life they taught me how to have purpose and improve my life. I live far from the PARC but the IOP councilor gave me all the tools I need to integrate myself into my local recovery community. They have an aftercare program that helps you when you are on your own in the outside world. I could tell the staff wants me to succeed and lots have gone through my same struggle. I wish I would have gone to the PARC years ago. I have gotten so much from the program and will be forever thankful. Also the food was great.

The PARC is a wonderful facility for recovery. They provide all of the tools needed for a successful and sober life, from medication to meditation and everything in between. I especially want to shout out Mrs. Jasmine, the alumni coordinator; she truly cares about the patients, is so kind, and is a very hard worker. I also want to recognize Mrs. Millicent, a counselor who both advocates for and cares about her patients. I highly recommend PARC to anyone who truly wants to stay sober.

The doctor was able to pinpoint exactly what I had been seeing and experiencing with my son and provided us with advice, guidance, and information that we truly needed. As a parent, having someone listen, understand, and help you make sense of what your child is going through meant so much to us. Therapist Derrick Johnson and staff members Ms. Natalie, Majia, Audrey and Mr. Moore are all wonderful in their care for patients. Okay, I thought I'd give a shout out to this VA outpatient center in Katie. Because I see the low numbers, and I don't think it's a fair deal to give a negative review for negative experiences in a system that's full of bureaucracy. When people are just trying to do their jobs, the only complaint I have about this clinic is that I can't keep a primary care physician. They keep leaving, but that has nothing to do with the clinic that's, I don't know, maybe the theory. The doctors aren't happy with the pay or the bureaucracy or the workload. I don't know, but it's a lot asked of them to help us veterans. So I appreciate the effort that they put out every day. They come to work, they deal with us. Sometimes we can be difficult as vets, because we have a lot of issues that we're dealing with the military can really screw you up Lionel, so for them to have the patience, anybody in the medical field, my mom was ALV. N for 24 years before she passed and my hat goes off to anybody in the medical profession. Because I know it's not easy work. Some of the stories she would tell when she came home were horrifying, and I hope that I don't ever become one of those problem patient. Um, but this is just a shout out to the K. V. A the wait times aren't that long. I've never had to wait 22 long for an appointment and if they have the availability in the schedule, they'll fit you in.So I guess it's all a matter of perspective.You can go into a situation with a negative attitude and get a negative experience, or you can go in with a positive attitude.And if negative things happen, they brush off of you.So my advice is to just be calm and be patient.

I’m leaving a much needed review. I found West Park Springs from a truancy officer who directed me to New Dimensions One person led me to 30 more. I finally got to a woman by the name of TJ who works who works for West Park Springs she helped me stay calm in the middle of the worst storm of my life. Most people told me I can’t help you or your son can’t be helped my anxiety went from one extreme to another but TJ has never given up or not taken a call she has been there when no one else would she has gone above and beyond any job or person could ask and for this I thank God for!!! I prayed and then she spoke what I was praying “Lord please send your angels to protect me and my son through this nightmare and please bring the right people “ she then told me all of the right people are going to help and I knew right then and there my prayers were answered Thank you God and thank you TJ!!! For anyone reading this there is help and hope🥰

My son was never been excited to attend speech therapies until he had Sydelle in TIRR. He's usually grumpy to attend speech but he got excited when i mention Sydelle and his retention at home is very positive. Unfortunately we're pausing therapies (their policy not to have continuous therapies) but when we're back, we hope to still have Sydelle as my son's therapist. Thank you
