Literally the most welcoming ,caring and genuine people I ve ever meet. From the nicest lady ever at the front desk to both of the most amazing nurses I ve ever spoke with even had a Vet to Vet chat with one of them. I respected that sooo much. The woman nurse didn t judge so I felt I could be completely honest with her and I did and it felt great. She listened, and I could really really see that. I also respected that dearly. The counselor outstanding, I talked for an hour straight. He sat and listened every word and was truly engaged into my treatment plan. Great guy!! Last but not least got to see my old counselor from my old methadone clinic CARS A clinic that caused more PTSD than my military service. I couldn t believe it my heart skipped a beat in a good way when I saw her I was so happy she moved on from that hell hole! lol and The smile on your face said it all had me come her office and sit down spoke to me like a human being like she always had done before. These people truly care, and now for the final step meeting the Doctor who was the coolest guy ever! That s the most nerve racking part especially for me when I ve been going to Methadone maintenance clinics since 2017 and I just know that right dose there s a sweet spot that works for me perfectly for me without any side effects, cravings etc. he s was beyond outstanding most kindness doctor I ve ever met. If you re looking for help when your at a complete loss or want to prevent yourself From going to far down that path of your addiction and you don t know where to go give these people a call don t give up. Trust me they will save your life and get you back on track. And the best part of this place is getting you back on track getting back on track fast not these hard insane rules. They want to get you back on track and get you back to your life, family and work. I could truly see that they are in the business for the patients. Thank you so much!! much love Symetria Recovery you deserve a million stars

| Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) is a substance abuse treatment facility in Houston, Texas. They offer outpatient programming, which provides flexibility for those wanting to continue working or attending school while getting care. The location is convenient, near the George Bush and William P. Hobby airports and the University of Houston for | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I want to first say that my time at the PaRC was a wonderful experience and was probably the best 30 days of my life. Most of the personnel working there were exceptional humans and 85% are actually in recovery so they know exactly what you are going through. The support, the mental wellbeing staff, counselors and care coordination team are, for the most part phenomenal. I wanted to give a big shout out to Ernie, Anthony, Tuliesha, Cecelia, Amad, Resha, Derrick, Darrel, Gabriel, Gabriella, Ryan, Veronica, David, Lilly, Ms Linda, Xavier, Tara and Mary as well as John A, Tonya and Joel from the Alumni team for their exceptional support throughout my stay and help developing a rock solid exit plan. All this being said, I want to make people aware that this facility has no problem filling their building well past the capacity for the number of staff they have. There were quite often too few nurses to handle the number of people that had to get medications both in the morning and at night. Zero processes were in place and it became a zoo. I can only speak for my counselor, but by the time I left she was too busy as she completely missed setting up my family one on one. She just stated "I just ran out of time". In addition, my care coordinator was a nice guy but completely and utterly dropped the ball on my sober living and a few other big ticket items I needed to depart and I was nearly left without a place to stay (homeless) if I had not taken action. I attempted to stay involved but I was just told to "trust me" and nothing happened until the day before I left and then they were all in mandatory training. (thank you Cecelia and Resha for helping me bail this situation out). The thing that really affected my stay the most and what you the reader need to be made aware of was that there were several events of drug use in the facility, specifically THC vape pens. The facility needs to do a much better job of monitoring for illicit drugs. They state they have a drug dog on placards around the facility, but there was never one present during my stay and I suspect this was from the days when they belonged to Memorial Herman. The worst part, on one occasion, a resident was caught using the drugs, was not remorseful, was not taking the program seriously at all (did not attend groups, slept all day, wandered around smoking vape inside, etc) and was just allowed to stay. When this was escalated, the only answer given was we did not know the whole story, but what more to the story is there than they used drugs and got caught ( I was present during this entire escapade) The rules for the facility that are received on day 1 state clearly that possession, distribution or use of illicit drugs is strictly prohibited and are grounds for "IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE". I spoke up about this during our community group and was pulled to the side and found out it was because this person did not have a place to go. I stated that they do have a place to go, they can either be kicked out like every other person would be for doing the same thing or moved to a higher level facility (Level 4).In reflection, I enjoyed this facility immensely but there is not a formalized feedback methodology that actually promises results, overcrowding is a very present issue (this is a for profit deal remember), staffing among care coordinators, counselors and nurses are not appropriate to the number of patients and the rules are seemingly very flexible (i suspect unless you have great insurance lol). Thank you. Lastly before I leave, there is one BHT that either needs an attitude adjustment or just shouldn't be working there anymore. Her name starts with a Sh. You all know who she is if you have been there. She needs to be addressed.

Although it was a long and rough process sometimes, she and the rest of our family had great support from everyone, but especially from Isabella and Ayana, the teen treatment counselors. I have been to 7 different clinics between Utah, cali, Texas; and CARS in Tomball is the best I have been to. If it weren t for Kimberley there is no way I would be doing as good as I am. She has been there to talk me through hard times, reminded me how strong I am, if something comes up (out of town, or surgeries etc.) Kimberley, the nurses, and doctor do all they can to accommodate my needs. Other clinics made me feel like a burden, or like I was putting them out, or a pain. I have never had a counselor as amazing as Kimberly. I thought I was losing my dad, and the support Kimberly gave me, I have never had. She didn t rush me out, I had to go back to my home state and she helped me make a relapse prevention plan, checked in on me, and has never made me feel like an addict. She has helped set me up to succeed, not fail. I have almost two years sober and if I didn t have her support as well as Leah and Art and Chase I wouldn t have made it this far. I ve never had this kind of support in a program as I do now. Kimberly is the reason I stay at this clinic; the best counselor I ve had. Leah, Art and Chase are all bonuses!

My experience with this VA Healthcare facility has been nothing less than satisfactory, the staffs knowledgable, understanding and caring. There is one particular Nurse that I'd like to acknowledge Nurse Terri N GRAY. She was very caring, full of healthy advice and knew what was best for my recovery. I'm sharing my thoughts and feelings today freely, because I'm not ashamed that I had to get help for my addiction. I've been in other methadone programs in Houston, and they were good, but Conroe clinic is GREAT! The staff, from the medicating nurse to the counselors, and even the financial staff, are very friendly and informative on ANYTHING I've ever needed help with or info about. I feel safe and secure while there, and can call anytime of the day or night to speak to my counselor- and that is truly an important thing when you need someone you can trust to talk to. They are honest and caring, and would never steer you in the wrong direction for such important things like your physical or mental health. I feel that I can talk to ANY ONE of them about ANYTHING, and not be judged or disvalued as a person. They are there to help YOU, and they ALL take that responsibility seriously. IF YOU NEED HELP, THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO FIND IT!!! Call and talk to them, and you'll hear it in thier voices. It's not just a paycheck for any of them, helping others is a calling, not a job, and you'll never go wrong by calling to inquire about thier services. You've come to the right place for help when you call or go there!!! FOR SURE!!!

I would not listen to the lower reviews but I would still try to see both sides. Most of the lower reviews are patients who did not get their way...The staff was amazing they were super responsive and helped me with my medicine. Theres recreational group music group and going outside! I just got out 4/12/2022 and I was in the hospital on my birthday 4/9/22 they got me a cake and sweet tea and all of the patients and staff sang to me. There is one lady named Ms. Shelby she is super super personable and very kind. and Ms. Christie is so funny. I love the girl with silver hair she's funny too. and Ms. Angela is a darn good cook. I met some wonderful people in there and I felt very blessed to have everyone that was there. and Mr.Hood is so funny lol. I think everyone should go there I do not know what goes on in the other units but ours was very calm but the washer did break but we were allowed to wash our clothes in the sink and they would dry them!!! everyone had a beautiful soul their and I appreciated everybody. Ms. Shelby helped me meet people because i stayed in my room for two days and she introduced me to everybody. The beds do hurt a little but they can give you Tylenol to help with the pain or a lidocaine patch if you need it! I wrote them a long thank you note because I felt very well taken care of!!!!. This hospital is a blessing they took care of you like a family and all the patients felt like a family too and Ms. Coleen was a blessing and helped me and a friend out!. I don't wanna share the patients names due to confidentiality, but this place was beautiful. They can give you a hygiene bag which includes a comb, deodorant, tooth brush and tooth paste as well as mouth wash. They also give you shampoo& body wash + conditioner. They do have hair detangler and Chapstick. It's a wonderful place it really does feel like home. They are quick! and if you need to find a place to live they can do that as well also they helped find a pharmacy close to you! and they can help find you a psychiatrist virtually or in person! If I could I would give them infinity stars! loved everybody there!!!!!
