This time everyone was on deck and appreciated my frustration with Medicare pay for my basic vaccinations. After being turned down( twice) by my chosen provider I received wonderful help with the Lake Jackson VA clinic who administered all the vaccines I was eligible to receive. So cool.

Great experience! I was nervous going in but,once inside I was welcomed from the beginning to the end of my stay.The staff treated everyone like family. If you didn't have clothes they provided you with everything you needed including personal hygiene items! Clean environment we also went to a outside meeting. The women I met inside like myself going through my journey was amazing. I'm still in contact with alot of them & all doing great things. My daughter was recently admitted and I’m so hopeful she will have a positive and life changing experience here. I’ve heard this place has good vibes and helpful staff. I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. Even after completing the program, I don’t feel alone. That sense of community is so strong that I’ve chosen to stay in the area and continue building my life here. Today, I’m 60 days sober. This place was truly a life saver!! They stopped what they were doing twice within 3 weeks to come rescue me from myself over an hour and a half away. The staff is amazing and really care about your state of well-being. They don't care if you like them, they care if you live and that's the most comforting thing about this place. My dad has struggled with drug addiction for 25+ years. He recently had a massive heart attack due to drug use and his situation was becoming dire. We knew if he didn't get help he wasn't going to make it much longer. He finally agreed to get treatment and my sister found this place. He went from not wanting to go to rehab to not wanting to leave this place. He absolutely loved it and loves everyone there. He considers them family. He completed his treatment and the staff is still there to offer him support and help him succeed. Andy has been amazing at helping him find out patient programs. They truly care here. I was out of Harms way, but my son was released. I received call from a St.Joeseph hospital because he was released and was treated for exposure, trench feet from rain. If you're relative is mentally I'll try to do Medical Power Of Attorney in front of A Notory. They are delusional, but, You know they need help. Plus, you gotta stay safe. The Mental facility will release them, because they are a adult by law. That's my next step in getting my son help. Without, This document you can't assist them if they are a Adult.
