I don’t even know where to begin, because “thank you” doesn’t feel big enough for what this place has done for me. I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. The program gave me tools I actually use in real life, not just while I was there. More importantly, it helped me reconnect with something deeper—my sense of purpose, my spirituality, and my will to keep going. What really stands out is the support system. Even after completing the program, I don’t feel alone. That sense of community is so strong that I’ve chosen to stay in the area and continue building my life here. Today, I’m 60 days sober. My mind is still clearing, but I feel something I haven’t felt in a long time—hope. This place didn’t just help me get sober. It helped save my life. I'm really sorry and impressed with the staff because I don't know if could have the same restraint they showed me and my foul mouth.The staff was without a doubt the best I've encountered. I cannot recommend The Right Step enough! I stayed here from medical detox all the way through residential discharge, and they have been with me through thick and thin. The detox process was safe and as comfortable as possible. The counselors and staff truly care about your recovery and teach you the life skills you need. The Nurses there are absolute ANGELS!! Lois (A nurse there) she is such am amazing lady with a warm and caring heart!!! She is just AMAZING and I love her!! Dina , the nurse who distributes the medication as well as my take home meds, she is so very sweet and Kind!! And of course My Case worker, Moses, is just the sweetest!! I have been going to this particular clinic regularly for about a year now, after we moved back here from Arizona to be close to our family, and Yes, It is the most the most expensive clinic I have been to, But I wouldn't ever think of going anywhere else , strictly because of the wonderful Nurses and caring Case manager!
