Literally the most welcoming ,caring and genuine people I ve ever meet. From the nicest lady ever at the front desk to both of the most amazing nurses I ve ever spoke with even had a Vet to Vet chat with one of them. I respected that sooo much. The woman nurse didn t judge so I felt I could be completely honest with her and I did and it felt great. She listened, and I could really really see that. I also respected that dearly. The counselor outstanding, I talked for an hour straight. He sat and listened every word and was truly engaged into my treatment plan. Great guy!! Last but not least got to see my old counselor from my old methadone clinic CARS A clinic that caused more PTSD than my military service. I couldn t believe it my heart skipped a beat in a good way when I saw her I was so happy she moved on from that hell hole! lol and The smile on your face said it all had me come her office and sit down spoke to me like a human being like she always had done before. These people truly care, and now for the final step meeting the Doctor who was the coolest guy ever! That s the most nerve racking part especially for me when I ve been going to Methadone maintenance clinics since 2017 and I just know that right dose there s a sweet spot that works for me perfectly for me without any side effects, cravings etc. he s was beyond outstanding most kindness doctor I ve ever met. If you re looking for help when your at a complete loss or want to prevent yourself From going to far down that path of your addiction and you don t know where to go give these people a call don t give up. Trust me they will save your life and get you back on track. And the best part of this place is getting you back on track getting back on track fast not these hard insane rules. They want to get you back on track and get you back to your life, family and work. I could truly see that they are in the business for the patients. Thank you so much!! much love Symetria Recovery you deserve a million stars

My teen has been to this place twice over a years time frame and did an IOP and PHP program. We felt both times that their treatment and care for the teens was really great and the information shared in family was always helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for families looking to find mental health care for their teens.

My daughter recently completed the IOP program at the Woodlands location of New Dimensions. Although it was a long and rough process sometimes, she and the rest of our family had great support from everyone, but especially from Isabella and Ayana, the teen treatment counselors. Without their personal attention and continued support, my daughter would not be making positive strides in her mental health journey. I would highly recommend NDD The Woodlands. If you have an open mind and REALLY want help, this is the place to go.

Where to begin in thanking PRC for giving me the tools to save myself. Super friendly right from the beginning. Admissions had me scheduled for check in before I got there. Linda was compassionate and kind as she was doing my intake assessment. When I was taken to the men's dorm, Ron, gave me the lay of the land and made sure to remind me I chose to come here because I wanted to live differently. Colleen, Reanna, Jaime and Kevin provided insightful exercises that not only challenged my understanding of my disease they also allowed me to understand myself in a new way. I went into Taylor Recovery with my life shattered. I needed help, not only for the demons I faced, but the situation those demons had landed me in. I was provided information by my medical insurance company (a department within it to assist with the type of issue I was in). The individual I spoke with expressed their trust with Taylor Recovery Sober Living to provide the help I needed. I called the TRSL. Kimberly Isaac (Ms. Kim) answered the phone..... thank God. I went into detail with my situation. She told me then and there I was welcome.I was at TRSL for almost a year. I now have a new home, well new to me. This become possible by the opportunity they provided me.I was introduced to the staff (Megan, who did my intake and did catch me on a white lie, Jacob, Ms. Marjorie, and others who came along later.... Tish). Additionally, by the grace of God I was introduced to my counsellor, Ms. Gail (...aka..Ms. G), also Steve. I needed the support and the wisdom from both of these individuals, the staff, Ms. Kim, and Teresa.I made it perfectly clear two things would be necessary for me to discharge treatment. First, I wound need to know I could live independently (secure by myself, okay with my own skin), and that I would be a homeowner when I discharged.Had I not came in contact with TRSL, and these individuals, I would either be 6' under, or property of the State of Texas. Everyone there supported, accommodated (I work 3rd shift), counselled me, especially when life became even tougher while I was there.Thank you all at Tayor Recovery Sober Living, you have provided the tools for a man to get back on his feet, to have the strength to face a new book in life, and to go forward with confidence.I highly recommend Taylor Recovery, and those who make Taylor Recovery to anyone who needs help with recovery, and sober living. Please, be dedicated to your own life and grow.

I was not aware of the side withdrawal effects that come with quitting alcohol, and how dangerous it is when someone is dependant and quits from one day to another.Luckily i found this facility were professional employee Ramona returned my call from. She honestly, genuinely and willingly took her time to answer all the questions that I had and she guided me through the process of how to quit alcohol in a healthy way.Ramona successfully found a detox program that will help me deal with my horrible alcohol addiction and with the professional help that I need.Although Ramona doesn't directly deal with alcohol withdrawal problems. This was the best decision I could have made for my mental wellness. Everyone has life issues and experiences. Sometimes you don t know you need professional help until you re in the middle of it. Well I was. I am blessed to have a support system who was on board for my self care.I researched various IOPs/PHPs that my psychiatrist suggested. The Heights Treatment sounded like the best fit for me. Based on reviews and researching the area, solidified my choice to start treatment there. So I did. From the intake for IOP5, to individual therapy sessions, to group sessions including equine therapy, to individual sessions with Dr. R, was well thought out to get this group of professionals to help people. The one who held it together with scheduling to communicating to even listening for a couple of minutes in passing, was truly a blessing. Their client care services, Adam, is kind and professional. They all make you feel welcome.Bre - my therapist, help tremendously. Various group sessions, helped me realize so much. They gave me the tools to help me reach my goals. They helped me choose to do the work. Be it daily checking in, verbalizing my emotion at the time, concerns, etc, these are the things for me, that were so beneficial in my mental wellness.Trust your gut. Don t hesitate to get the help. If you choose The Heights Treatment, you will be in great hands.

Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) is a substance abuse treatment facility in Houston, Texas. The location is convenient, near the George Bush and William P. Hobby airports and the University of Houston for
I want to first say that my time at the PaRC was a wonderful experience and was probably the best 30 days of my life. Most of the personnel working there were exceptional humans and 85% are actually in recovery so they know exactly what you are going through. The support, the mental wellbeing staff, counselors and care coordination team are, for the most part phenomenal. I wanted to give a big shout out to Ernie, Anthony, Tuliesha, Cecelia, Amad, Resha, Derrick, Darrel, Gabriel, Gabriella, Ryan, Veronica, David, Lilly, Ms Linda, Xavier, Tara and Mary as well as John A, Tonya and Joel from the Alumni team for their exceptional support throughout my stay and help developing a rock solid exit plan. All this being said, I want to make people aware that this facility has no problem filling their building well past the capacity for the number of staff they have. There were quite often too few nurses to handle the number of people that had to get medications both in the morning and at night. Zero processes were in place and it became a zoo. I can only speak for my counselor, but by the time I left she was too busy as she completely missed setting up my family one on one. She just stated "I just ran out of time". In addition, my care coordinator was a nice guy but completely and utterly dropped the ball on my sober living and a few other big ticket items I needed to depart and I was nearly left without a place to stay (homeless) if I had not taken action. I attempted to stay involved but I was just told to "trust me" and nothing happened until the day before I left and then they were all in mandatory training. (thank you Cecelia and Resha for helping me bail this situation out). The thing that really affected my stay the most and what you the reader need to be made aware of was that there were several events of drug use in the facility, specifically THC vape pens. The facility needs to do a much better job of monitoring for illicit drugs. They state they have a drug dog on placards around the facility, but there was never one present during my stay and I suspect this was from the days when they belonged to Memorial Herman. The worst part, on one occasion, a resident was caught using the drugs, was not remorseful, was not taking the program seriously at all (did not attend groups, slept all day, wandered around smoking vape inside, etc) and was just allowed to stay. When this was escalated, the only answer given was we did not know the whole story, but what more to the story is there than they used drugs and got caught ( I was present during this entire escapade) The rules for the facility that are received on day 1 state clearly that possession, distribution or use of illicit drugs is strictly prohibited and are grounds for "IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE". I spoke up about this during our community group and was pulled to the side and found out it was because this person did not have a place to go. I stated that they do have a place to go, they can either be kicked out like every other person would be for doing the same thing or moved to a higher level facility (Level 4).In reflection, I enjoyed this facility immensely but there is not a formalized feedback methodology that actually promises results, overcrowding is a very present issue (this is a for profit deal remember), staffing among care coordinators, counselors and nurses are not appropriate to the number of patients and the rules are seemingly very flexible (i suspect unless you have great insurance lol). Thank you. Lastly before I leave, there is one BHT that either needs an attitude adjustment or just shouldn't be working there anymore. Her name starts with a Sh. You all know who she is if you have been there. She needs to be addressed.

They also discovered I had tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. All of these heart related issues were corrected with new medication and through intense therapy and positive work group sessions. During my stay in their treatment program, I was able to understand and eliminate alcohol and other "get away" bad habits I had formed. The staff, the facility and the programs are all top notch in my viewpoint and I will forever be grateful for time I spent there and the lessons I've learned and implemented in life going forward. This place saved my life more than once. I have been there a couple times (my fault not theirs). This facility is a home for people who have lost their way. The director Eled is absolutely the best person I know, he actually truly cares for his clients in a way I have never experienced. I gave him and the staff all the reasons in the world to give up on me as many have. They don't. Please, if you or a loved one needs help, this IS the place. Thank you to my family at westbridge.

Hate is easy, as evidenced by some of the review bombers. This place has been home to many pleasant memories, and supports the community. It's sad to hear some of the stories that they don't help in, but I'm thankful for this place's existence.

I have nothing but good things to say about this program and what they teach in their classes. They welcome you into their class and help you to understand a different perspective on life. If you get the opportunity to meet with Agatha or Alethe, you will not be disappointed. Great Program!

Best thing I have ever done! PRC not only helped me learn about my addiction but it also broke down some walls of abuse and showed me ways to move forward. I also learned how to deal with a lot of grief that I had not expressed. My relationship with my children has been restored and I couldn't be happier. Thank You PRC
