Forge is a very ethical mental health clinic. Their process is goal-oriented and results-driven. My therapist worked with me to identify and target what I specifically needed to address and work on. We developed a treatment plan and mental worked on developing skills and strategies to resolve my issues! All staff encountered were perfectly professional. I recommend Forge Health.

This place is horrific. I have tried contacting them for MONTHS due to outrageous charges they are trying to force me to pay, but they refuse to give me so much as an emailed response written by a real, live human. They are now threatening to send me to collections for more than $2,300 worth of charges for the three or four months I attended therapy at Forge. How can I have accumulated such a massive amount when I'm paying with insurance and I didnt have that many sessions?! We had to cancel at least two or three within those few months due to my therapist being on vacation or unavailable. It makes no sense and was never communicated to me. They never even told me how much sessions cost. And, of course, no one will call or email me back. While still at Forge, I was confused about payments, so I checked the portal. I saw no balance, and asked my therapist about this. They reached out to the billing department and told me I did not have a balance. So, it's no mystery I'm extremely surprised at this gigantic bill that they just keep sending automated emails and letters in the mail about. It's not difficult to send me a quick email from a real human being! We would have this solved so quickly! I'm not trying to duck any real financial responsibility I may have, but I can't make $2k+ (for who knows what because they won't tell me) appear out of thin air! If I could, I wouldn't have gone to Forge! Besides payment, I was disappointed by the services provided. I had virtual appointments with my therapist and every session, I could see in their glasses that they were not paying attention to me. They would be checking emails or different tabs frequently and seemed unfocused when I was speaking. After two sessions of this obvious pattern, I felt unimportant and uninterested in continuing sessions. I'm not expecting my therapist to never be distracted or have to check emails, but just not every session, throughout nearly the full hour... That's just ridiculous and hurtful. Even if this had not occurred, it did not seem the therapist was equipped to handle my presenting problems. They suggested a few strategies that I knew did not work for me because I had tried them in the past multiple times to no avail. I told them this (IN THE VERY FIRST SESSION), but they still pushed me to watch videoes about these topics. I repeated what I had said before but they wanted me to try it again with them. I couldn't stop them and I thought, maybe they do things differently, but no. It was the same strategies that did nothing for me in the past or now. I just zoned out for a few minutes as I was so annoyed that they blatantly ignored what I said and still tried to push their own agenda. Of course, all therapists have their own style, but when a client specifically says they do not respond well or are uninterested in a certain modality, please listen! If the therapist thought that they didn't want to/couldn't work within another therapeutic lens, then I would have been fine with switching. If they explained why they used this style and had good arguments, I would have given it more of a chance! However, in the end, I had to leave because it felt like my problems were not being taken seriously and did not matter to the therapist. ALL of this to say: just contact me about payment and we'll resolve it ASAP! I shouldn't be sent to collections to decimate my credit because you won't respond to my repeated calls and emails! I want to be completely done with this company!! I came to Forge for real help, and now I'm left feeling like I'm worse off than before. It's extremely sad and disappointing.

I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the first 3 months I spent with Forge. Brianne, Nico, Drew, and Renee make an excellent team at the Doylestown office. I would not have been able to finish my doctorate and begin my professional career without their insight during group and individual sessions. If you are struggling, I cannot recommend this group enough to guide your thought the most difficult times of your life. They literally saved my life in more ways than one. They all make sustainability possible outside of therapy as well and the carry over of therapy is great when you buy into the ideas you and the therapists come up with throughout the sessions. Beyond thankful for these wonderful people and I can't imagine where I'd be if I had stuck with the previous therapists I've seen in the past. Thank you Forge!

Forge Health – Doylestown works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Per session payment lets you pay for each treatment at the time of service. You may also pay for a certain number of sessions up front and then pay for more if needed. This format allows you to tailor the financial investment to your specific needs and avoid having a large lump sum payment due at the end of the treatment program.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs specialize in providing comprehensive care for clients who choose to remain in their homes and communities during treatment. Their services may include transitional support for clients stepping down from intensive inpatient programming. Ambulatory medical detox may be provided for clients at low risk for withdrawal complications. Many programs include evening, night, and weekend services to accommodate clients who are working professionals or caregivers. Addiction counseling and life skills training are common treatment modalities.

Clients engaged in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) live and work in their home community while receiving frequent, high-level care. These programs offer personalized care designed to evolve with the clients' changing needs. Many intensive outpatient rehabs require a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week, but high-risk clients and those in early recovery may receive up to 20 hours of care weekly. IOP services generally include addiction counseling, recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as massage.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a syndrome of dependent alcohol use. Also called alcohol use disorder (AUD), the symptoms include craving alcohol, not being able to stop drinking, and feeling anxious or irritable when not drinking. For many people, alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania is a beneficial treatment. Programs offer many levels of care, including medical and behavioral therapies.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

Pennsylvania's specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs prioritize comprehensive care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Providing various levels of care, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization, dual-diagnosis experts use evidence-based therapies, recovery support groups, and education to treat both disorders, promote mental health, and improve your quality of life.

In Pennsylvania, substance abuse treatment programs can help address addiction and any co-occurring mental health problems. These programs incorporate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation to help you uncover the underlying causes for your substance use and develop new skills to help you manage stress and overcome future triggers which may challenge your sobriety.

If you have a mental health condition and an addiction, it is critical to address both conditions simultaneously. If you only address the mental health disorder, you'll likely continue to use drugs or alcohol, which can make your mental health issues even worse. On the other hand, if you only address the addiction, you won't have the tools to cope with your mental health disorder in a healthy way.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Men face specific challenges and concerns when seeking addiction treatment. Gender-specific recovery programs help them tackle these issues head-on in an environment that's focused, targeted, and distraction-free. It also gives them the opportunity to connect with and learn from other men who have been through a similar journey and can offer support for the next step.

Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clinical Services

Group therapy sessions in Pennsylvania offer you a safe space when you're struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. You can openly discuss your challenges and the progress you're making in rehabilitation. Sharing this responsibility with others in your group fosters a commitment to sobriety and helps create strong bonds with your peers.

Personalized therapy sessions in Pennsylvania typically include a safe and nonjudgmental setting in which you can express your deepest emotions and feelings and explore the factors that have contributed to addiction. Therapists tailor the sessions to help you develop healthier thought patterns and behaviors, which improve your self control and build a foundation for your long term sobriety.

Family therapy teaches individual family members in Pennsylvania the benefits of collectively combating addiction. Therapists help individual members establish healthy boundaries between themselves and their loved one who is struggling with addiction. This helps improve emotional support systems and creates a bond so families work together to sustain long term recovery.

It is important to process the impact that traumatic experiences have had on your life. During trauma therapy, you and an experienced therapist confront these experiences and the emotional impact it is had. This helps to reduce your symptoms of stress and anxiety and improve your overall mental health and well being.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.

Couples therapy in Pennsylvania is typically short term treatment that focuses on building skills that lead to positive long term relationship changes. Sessions with the therapist may occur both jointly and individually.

Life skills are the mental and social skills that are necessary to navigate day to day life. Addiction diminishes or eliminates these skills, so they must be relearned and practiced during drug rehab treatment in Pennsylvania.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Pennsylvania is an evidence based technique that involves group therapy, individual therapy, and phone coaching. Group sessions focus on learning behavioral skills. Individual therapy gives you the opportunity to apply what you're learning to your personal situations. Phone coaching allows you to call your therapist during the week for help with challenging situations.

Motivational interviewing in Pennsylvania gives you the opportunity to share your perspective and explore your ideas and motivation for change. Your therapist will walk you through the four steps of engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning to empower you to make any desired changes in your life.
