12-Step 12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Inpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The Partial Hospitalization Program meets 5 days per week - Monday through Friday - from 9:00am to 3:00pm and is considered a stabilization level of care. Patient admitted to this program have been determined to require medical oversight, either for medical/psychiatric issues or medication interventions. This program is staffed by a registered nurse and independently-licensed therapists who will report to the physicians and/or physician assistants any ongoing concerns that require attention. At this level of care, each person will begin the process of group therapy to address chemical dependency, and begin to develop with the therapist an appropriate treatment plan and a continuing care plan to support recovery. The objective is to stabilize for transition to the Intensive Outpatient Program for completion of treatment.
The length of stay in PHP varies with each person’s needs. A person may be referred there for a little as one day or as much as two weeks. However, the average length of stay is 4-8 days. The length of stay is determined by each patient’s progress and needs combined with the assessments of both medical and therapy staff.
Intervention Services Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.
