About Bridge Back

Bridge Back is located in Kingston, New York. They are a medically supervised outpatient substance use disorder treatment center. They are licensed by OASAS and provide quality and personalized care. They offer a comprehensive range of outpatient substance abuse recovery services that serve diverse clients.

Their supportive and knowledgeable care personnel includes licensed physicians, psychiatrists and psychologists. Nursing staff, social workers and certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors are also part of this expert team.

Their most intensive level of service is the addiction day rehab program. This program serves clients with severe and persistent alcoholism seeking structured and highly supportive outpatient care. The program lasts 180 days and involves four hours of counseling and therapeutic activities daily for five days each week.

If you’re typically engaged during the day, you can consider their evening intensive program. Although time-limited, this program offers convenience and flexibility for many workers. An alternative morning outpatient program is also available for those with other commitments later in the day who require significant therapeutic intervention and support.

They also offer adolescent treatment programs designed to address the unique needs of young people struggling with addiction. This takes a holistic approach involving group and individual counseling as well as family therapy. In addition, the facility provides specialized evaluation and treatment for DWI offenders. This serves both first time and repeat DWI offenders.

Their specialized outpatient clinic group and individual therapy covers diverse options across various recovery areas. This includes relapse prevention, alcohol awareness, 12 Step spiritual recovery and aftercare.

If you’re unable to participate in their standard group due to various personal needs you can join their “Special Needs” or “Group with No Name.” This new group meets thrice weekly.

Never never use this facility. They do not want you to get better.Went there 3x as I was told by my worker and Dr. Nothing but a run around. They were supposed to send my medication over to pharmacy...that never happened even after numerous communications with them. They do not have your best interests at heart.

Accepted Insurance

Bridge Back works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient

Inpatient rehabs provide a space for clients to focus exclusively on their recovery while receiving intensive supervision and support. Inpatient treatment centers provide housing and food and most offer round-the-clock clinical care. Their primary treatment modalities typically consist of addiction counseling using various psychotherapeutic methods, including CBT, DBT, RBT, and motivational interviewing. Many rehabs also provide specialized services for clients with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. Recovery-focused life skills training and holistic therapies are other common services.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs offer an intermediate level of care for clients who do not require the kind of intensive supervision and support an inpatient program typically provides. Many clients transition into outpatient care immediately after exiting inpatient treatment. Others enter outpatient programs upon completing detox. Some facilities offer ambulatory medical detox for clients who do not require hospitalization. Most outpatient rehabs offer a combination of services, including addiction counseling, life skills training, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you choose drug rehab in New York, you'll participate in a variety of treatments that are designed to help you live a drug-free lifestyle. Common methods of treatment include group, individual, and family counseling, medication management, nutrition, exercise, and management of co-occurring mental health disorders.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
teen-program thumbnail image

Teen Program

Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in New York is a short term therapeutic method used to treat substance use and mental health disorders. CBT typically lasts from five to 20 sessions, based on the individual's needs.

During dialectical behavior therapy in New York, you and your therapist will look for triggers and patterns that are guiding your emotions. This involves keeping a diary of your emotions and situations and sharing this each week with the therapist. This information will determine what you work on in each session.

absolutely unprofessional staff, they do NOT return calls and lied to my D.S.S worker that they'd been trying to reach me when they never even once attempted too. so i went to an inpatient in Rhinebeck instead. and when i called them and informed them who i was and that D.S.S told me to speak to them to get back into treatment, they refused to talk to me over the phone because of " HIPPA laws stopping them from discussing another patients medical history" as if i was pretending to be some guy who walked in the door ONCE. absolutely ridiculous if anyone is considering out patient my recommendation is to STAY AWAY from this facility. they do NOT care about your sobriety. not even a little bit. they just want your insurance money, nothing more nothing less. it's never been so hard for me to get my OWN medical records and if i am made homeless due to their desire NOT to do their jobs i will be seeking legal action against them. best of luck to the person reading this.

I wish I could give ZERO stars! Worst facility ever! No one treats you right. The director is a joke and can’t even return phone calls. Dr. John Mitchell is the worst Psychiatrist. He is very unprofessional and called me names and brought HIS own personal feelings involved and belittled me about something that didn’t even concern him. When asked to stop calling me names etc, he disregarded it and kept on. I walked out of his office after going to my appointment after 4 mins and I’m being charged for $300 for 15 mins I never got! Please, don’t come to this place. Billing is absolutely ridiculous. I have a stack of bills and they all have different account numbers. I PAID to be there. Imagine those who don’t… save your money and time and go to a facility that actually cares for their clients. 1/2021-9/2021
