I was treated with kindness and respect by all the staff, and the doctor was extremely thorough with a wonderful caring bedside manner. The nurses were cool and funny and told good stories. I especially want to mention nurses estelle, lauren, alexi, Morgan, gina, and Matt. The 2 nurses i met in my 3 hr visit were very friendly. We had a few good laughs with them! Left there feeling relieved the nurses got to know him enough in 3 weeks to love his humor! And take a minute to listen to him.. hes the nicest impatient person..

I love everything about Gateway HV! Gateway has been there for my brother (and therefore my family) for nearly 15 years. My brother has been helped with job coaching on the job, internshipsand computer courses. We were thinking of signing up with the job help, Health Home care case management and PROS (he could get psychiatry through that program. My son was inpatient at never alone for 45 days. In that time he went not only through recovery but mental health help as well. He is home and thriving. Throughout his time there he participated in individual and group therapies. His favorite part in his own words “Kim’s food is amazing”. When he came home we sought out his psychiatrist to get him back on track. They couldn’t get us in for a month and were not willing to refill his medications. I spoke with Mackenzie and her and nursing staff were able to make sure he got refills so he was not left without vital medications. I would recommend Never Alone to anyone who just doesn’t know what else to do with a child who is struggling.

My 16 year old daughter was at Never Alone for over a month and did great! The entire staff from program director to chef were wonderful and made my daughter's stay as comfortable as it could be, based on the circumstances. This was not our first stop on her journey, however this was her first rehab for drug/substance use. When asked if it was beneficial, she has not hesitated to say YES. She said that she felt she left with better tools and confidence to work her recovery.

Just a review from a loved one who is thankful for the care given. I don’t know much other than Lori is sent from a higher power to work on and coordinate rehabilitative services. Back in 2009 I had a real bad addiction to Prescription pain pills an a big addiction to Benzos (xanax & klonoppins) . When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.

My daughter has received services from Astor for the last 2-3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists, staff, therapists, nurses and NPs. They have been a blessing to us! When my daughter does not have an appointment one week due to a holiday or whatever, someone will call to check on us. I really appreciate that. This place is the most effective and helpful recovery place I ve ever had the pleasure of attending. The dedication of staff to get to know their clients rather than just gaining as many as they can and not really knowing anything about them is very meaningful. I would recommend this facility for anyone dealing with drug/alcohol issues and they are dual diagnosis well equipped for mental illness. This is the best recovery tool I ve ever had access to and I m so thankful.
