Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Inpatient rehab is designed primarily for clients exiting detox, those in early recovery, and those in crisis situations that may increase their risk of relapse. Clients reside at the inpatient treatment center for the length of the program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Inpatient treatment typically includes 24-hour clinical care and extensive addiction counseling and recovery education using CBT, DBT, RBT, motivational interviewing or other psychotherapeutic approaches.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs ensure clients' access to continuing care after the completion of intensive inpatient treatment. Outpatient care is often considered a component of drug rehab aftercare, but most clients continue to receive support services after being discharged from formal treatment. Service portfolios are customized to clients' unique and evolving needs and are often designed in collaboration with clients' case managers and care teams. Peer coaching, career counseling, relapse prevention, and 12 step program induction are standard.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Medical detox is the process of weaning your body off addictive substances in a medically supervised environment. An on-site medical team may include physicians, nurses, therapists, and other clinical staff whose job it is to monitor your vitals and provide medications if necessary to alleviate withdrawal symptoms. Their goal is to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible throughout the process.. Medically assisted detox programs are individualized to meet your specific needs and can vary in length, but they tend to last 5-7 days.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

In individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction, the therapist and patient work together to address the challenges and triggers that drive addictive behavior. This offers a customized approach to a healthier, substance free life.

They offer the best recovery methods of all the different places and methods I have tried and I’ve tried a lot! Of course some people will take advantage of a good thing like this and only abuse the program, while people like me who really are tired of living the life style take this serious. The only negative thing is somerset uses the liquid methadone, it is supposed to be equally as good as the wafers, but it is nowhere near as satisfactory as the wafers and it may all be a mental aspect but I really suspect the pumps they dispense the methadone with are inaccurate, or there is some type of inside diversion with the nurses going on. The amount I take should definitely help me more than it does, But even if there is nothing going on shady it very well could be just a psychological thing where we can’t tell the liquid is legit or not. Methadone could be diluted with water and still be effective for most patients and they would still test positive the same. This is why the wafers would be a better option for the users. I have personally considered transferring to London for this reason and this reason only. I really wish we would get wafers so I don’t end up giving up on this liquid and relapsing or just stopping the treatment altogether. We would know for sure what we had too. The only downside to the wafers would be the time it takes to dose the patients and the requirement to split up wafers into smaller pieces to meet a dose requirement, but even with those downsides it still is not worth relapsing just so the staff don’t have to do as much work. I mean really that’s what I think it comes down to. We should at least get a choice. Other than this issue with the liquid I don’t have any at all with the somerset clinic. They are the nicest down to earth people you could ask for and they really seem to care.

I want to reiterate the importance of, and the much needed and deserved recognition of, all the effort of what you guys are doing for your patients. The process you have created and continue to practice and strive for truly saves lives. And I don't just mean literally saving lives, that too. But also people getting their lives back. In every aspect. Financially, morally, etc. Feeling like you're becoming human again, and getting your priorities straightened back out is a great feeling. Moving on with the world, instead of the world moving on without you. For multiple years now, what seemed to be a guaranteed impossibility of change, or what seemed to be FACT. As in - living as the old sober me - that can't and doesn't exist anymore...has now become a 100% possibility, and now is my probability, and is becoming my new reality more and more, every day. NOW a big part of it IS a choice. I just wish I had known how well this truly does work, sooner. But thats ok. Now is ok, too. Honestly, if someone was actually asking me if I recommend y'all....I would tell them just to walk on in. Talk to the first three or four workers who work there that you happen to come across.... that's all that's needed to understand why someone would recommend y'all. And if someone is truly ready to finally face their fears and change their lives, without the fears of the physical, and worst of all, mental withdrawals...there shouldn't be a single addict on this planet who shouldn't be ready to come through those doors. Thank you guys for everything. My husband and I have been coming there now since the middle of March, I believe? Of this year. We've been together for over 10 years now and both been addicts for 15-16 years. And this is the first and only time either of us has sought actual medical addiction treatment through our own free will. And im so thankful that we ended up where we did, and I don't believe we would be where we already are now without you guys. Y'all have more than exceeded our expectations in many obvious ways. But y'all have also shown me genuine care I never expected to see. And you guys have worked with us so damn well, and only continue to do so. I constantly find myself thinking about or just occasionally reminding myself of how far we've already gotten in such a short amount of time. Which is a great beacon of our continued inspiration towards our goals of maintaining recovery. So, keep continuing to be that small, but bright light of hope that can be reached by anyone willing, with hard work and a good chosen path - out here in the massive space of darkness. Stay strong being the faces of what so many see as the ANSWER that the truly hopeless are always aimlessly searching for. THANK YOU ALL!!! -Dylan Kidder 🙃
