This place is unique! The way they adopt deep and well-planned therapies to treat patients’ ailments is impressive. The way they also involve the family members - a key support structure for a sustained and lasting recovery - just blows me away! It is with unending gratitude that we thank the Rose House for the transformation they provided our daughter. She went through both the (initial) 3-month phase at the Rose House itself and then followed with the Step-Down program for 7 months. The entire staff was consistently professional, supportive and knew their way around any "challenge" that was presented to them by any of the residents. Specifically, the Rose House (1) truly showed themselves to be committed to their residents (they do not give up!) (2) the care for each individual is personalized (3) They think through a holistic program that offers the resident a remarkable opportunity for a permanent recovery. (4) Their communitcation with family members is exceptional; providing family members tools to help the person (& the family) in recovery. Our daugher now has a new lease on life (as do we)!! UPDATE - It is now 6+(!!!) years later and our daughter is still clean, healthy, is holding down a job (has gotten promotions, etc) & is just about to move into her own condo!!! We absolutely hold the Rose House “positively responsible” for giving her the foundation upon which to rebuild her life!!! Endless thanks, again, Rose House!!!!

I highly recommend Aspen Ridge to anyone who needs help with recovery. I have been in recovery for years, and Aspen Ridge is my favorite facility out there. Unlike many others, Aspens Ridge does NOT force any specific modality on folks, such as AA or NA. Many other rehab facilities are 12 step-based, which I haven’t found to be helpful. Aspend Ridge helps folks find the program that works before for each individual, such as SMART recovery, Dharma Recovery, or 12 steps. The therapists and instructors at Aspen Ridge are also all tremendously helpful and motivated. Highly recommended to anyone in need!

As a dual diagnosis facility, they truly excel at addressing the intersection of substance use and mental health — and the care I’ve received reflects that expertise. The team is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but genuinely compassionate toward everyone walking through their doors. Their PHP and IOP programs are exceptionally well-run, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking meaningful, structured support. I struggled with early life growing up in the small town in Wisconsin. Didn’t realize how bad it was until I was hopelessly hanging on by a thread. Nearby recovery resources helped me discover Choice House, and that is where my life really began to change in unimaginable ways. I worked through early recover here; spent three months inpatient at the lookout, and four months in outpatient sober living while transitioning into a new unimaginable fulfilling life. The choice house team was extremely helpful in guiding and encouraging me through the difficulties of early recovery. Much love and appreciation for the whole team.

Blake was awesome to work with! As the facility manager at Choice House, he hired us to remove a fridge, and the entire process was smooth and professional. DWR has been amazing for my mental health healing. This place saved my life. It truly is a home away from home where they help women by welcoming them without judgement and with such kindness. I would not be the woman I am today without the support from Alex, Rachel, Lilly, and Crystal. You women are absolutely amazing and I thank you so much for all your love and support … and allowing me to cry, laugh, crash out, and be myself… and of course hold me accountable in my recovery. And let’s not forget also allowing me take over the couches and floors when I wanted to sleep.. lol. In July 2025, I started IOP at DWR which was the best decision I ever made. Their staff are supportive and extremely knowledgeable; special shoutout to Rachel, Amanda, and Crystal for all of their endless support! During IOP, I relapsed more than once and was never treated differently because of it. Instead of criticizing my decisions, DWR provided me with the support and safe space to work through my relapses while still holding me accountable. I have now been sober just over one year and even though I am the one who makes the decision to continue my sobriety everyday, I owe DWR for giving me the tools and confidence to do so. I really appreciate the time Kevin took to gather all the detailed information needed in order for authorization for admittance. His understanding of the complexities that were present in our specific situation shows his ability to provide the best possible support and services that UC Health is known for in Colorado. Kevin Cullen is a great representation of CeDar and UC Health as a whole. I am hopeful that this is the beginning of an amazing journey to a healthy path for my adult child. The best detox i have been too. Im surprised they take medicaid. All of staff are exceptional, they treat you like a human, and are willing to go out of the way to help you. Conor, your the man! The facility is a bit small and laid out kind of funky, but you get essentially a hotel room with a TV. Private bathroom and good shower. Yes, you may share the room with someone, but most of us i'm sure have been bunked up with a lot more than one other. Food was good, snacks when ever you want. You may smoke outside and vape indoors. If in the Springs or Pueblo it's definitely worth the drive. I'll definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know that is thinking of a detox facility. Thank you very much to all that helped.

I have been a patient with this clinic for almost a year now and have nothing but kind words to say about this center. The people here are all wonderful individuals who genuinely care about helping the community. I have had no issues getting an appointment or additional services when I have required it in the past, even with Medicaid. Additionally, there are a ton of groups and types of counseling that I haven't seen at other clinics, unique to Aurora Mental Health Center. It's unfortunate that there aren't more positive online reviews, it's truly worth giving them a shot to see for yourself the positive impact this place can have!

Very kind and trauma informed over at the department that specializes in developmental disabilities. Be sure to do your homework before you sign up with anybody tell them what you’re needing because nobody is a mind reader and a lot of of these reviews I’m seeing are very negative which I’m sorry to hear but luckily with the disability department everybody has been super kind and understanding so far.

I am scheduled every 3 months plus a number of other test so I’m at the hospital a lot over past 3 years. I have a team of doctors (primary care, oncology, urology and pulmonary) plus audio. I really liked this VA location and had great specialists that did everything they could on my case. The facility is very nice, new, and they have wheelchair service. It is too difficult to get to RMR from Colorado Springs though through illness, too far to travel, so I couldn’t stay with them. The process of getting transferred over to the Springs was difficult. There was also a hiccup with neurosurgery for quite some time and waiting on genetics for a year and a half. Other than that, the RMR team was really great and I appreciate everything they did.

I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar. I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future. I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.'
