The Rose House has met every expectation you’d want from a recovery facility. Whether treating mental health or addiction. The staff truly cares about the clients at the house and has great dialogue with the families of the loved ones who are being treated. The treatment process relies on community within the house, staff, and families to create a positive healing environment for the loved ones as well as their families. It’s been the best facility compared to the others in terms of care and continuation of care.

My experience at the rose house has been deeply transformative and life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of safety and structure that allowed me to finally slow down and start focusing on healing. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly compassionate—they genuinely care about my well-being and treat me with respect and empathy. The program is well-organized and includes a mix of individual therapy, group sessions, and holistic activities like yoga, mindfulness, and art therapy. The therapists and counselors are skilled at digging into the root causes of my struggles, not just treating the surface-level symptoms. I appreciated how they tailored my treatment plan to meet my specific needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Living in a supportive community of peers who are also working on themselves is one of the most helpful parts. We are able to share openly, hold each other accountable, and celebrate small victories together. The environment encourages honesty, vulnerability, and personal growth. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Meals are nutritious and balanced, and the daily schedule helped me develop structure and discipline in my life again. Recovery isn’t easy, and there are definitely difficult days, but The rose house has given me the tools, support, and space I needed to begin rebuilding my life. I would highly recommend The rose house to anyone who is ready to make a change and commit to their recovery journey. This place has given me a second chance at life.

I’ve known Rachael and Mark Uris personally since our kids attended daycare together, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep friendship with Rachael. Given our connection and my own long-term recovery journey since high school, I have a unique perspective on what they’ve created at Flatirons Recovery. I truly believe they’ve built something fantastic for those in recovery. What I appreciate most is how they explore all modalities of recovery. While my recovery primarily focuses on 12-step programs, Flatirons Recovery opens up so many other avenues for healing, and it has really broadened my understanding of what’s out there in the realm of recovery. Their approach is holistic and inclusive, which I think makes their program even more impactful for those looking to heal and grow. I’ve seen several people go through their program and truly thrive in their recovery life after staying at their center. It’s inspiring to witness how they stay engaged in their aftercare programs and continue to build a strong, lasting foundation for recovery. It’s great to see their success stories and know that Flatirons Recovery is offering more than just a place to stay – they are fostering a community of ongoing support and growth. On a personal note, I also want to give a shout-out to Rachael for her design work. She’s the designer behind the recovery homes, and she has an incredible eye for beauty. She’s even helped decorate our home, and we are so grateful for her design sense. Her ideas are fresh, creative, and perfectly align with our aesthetic (Southwest style). Thanks to her, our home feels more roomy, creative, and like a true reflection of who we are. I can’t recommend Flatirons Recovery enough. What they’re doing is making a real difference in people’s lives, and I’m proud to support them in any way I can. Kindly, Dr. Rosia Parrish Naturopathic Wellness Center of Boulder

Our family has had experience with many different inpatient, Outpatient and sober living and Mile High has by far been the best program. We were at our lowest point and going down the list of programs and feeling more and more hopeless with each call, until we called Mile High and spoke with Jill. She met us where we were and shared her story and listened to ours without judgement. She prepared us for the next steps and what to expect. The staff overall is great and really care. Thank you Mike High for changing so many lives!

Update: today was my first day I had an intake. Everyone at the front counter was very nice and polite. I met with two different people during the intake. They were really nice and polite. I really do feel they really wanna help me. They really do care about me and they really want to help my mental health and just help me in general and I’m very excited to start in this journey and it was really hard to talk about things that I’ve experienced, but I’m excited to now start diving Deep into myself internally spiritually mentally financially, and I know through taking the time to volunteer for therapy and to work on myself I’m excited to see what God my life and this company is going to do for me in every which way in my life and I’m just really excited to turn a new leaf over after months and months of calling doctors or seeing people and they said they can’t help me. I’m just excited to be able to start this journey now with Community outreach center! So after months and months of dealing with my doctors from Kaiser Permanente, my doctor actually told me to go to this facility because they would be able to help me since Kaiser Permanente is very strict so calling I just spoke with the lovely lady. She was so nice. I believe her name was Jillian. She was so helpful and insightful. I am so and I actually she was really nice and very sweet. I’m so excited to be able to Actually turn in and getting some The help that I need and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they could do for me

Val is very horrible my wife tanya left in tears how the woman treated me her husband telling me shut up im not the client my wife Tanya is the client and we will do only and everything Tanya wants, therefore at this moment i was no longer able to stop val from promises of false hope to my mentally disabled and physically disabled wife, i unfortunately had to let my wife know this was not worth it to have stayed in this appointment this is my family Val after i said I AM TANYAS REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE APPOINTED BY THE FEDERAL SSDI DEPARTMENT IN FULL POWER TO MAKE ALL DECISIONS AS WELL AS FILED BY AN ATTORNEY AT LAW IN ADAMS COUNTY COLORADO POWER OF ATTORNY MY WIFE CHOSE TO PAY FOR MY WIFE ISNT IN CHARGE OF THIS. Val then pushed my paperwork in my face asked my wife about PEAK website well val all this is in chads name Val had to bow down her attitude towards me and my family to ask ME all the questions and Val cant even refer to state choosing income limit july 1, 2024 to june 30, 2025 my family income bypassed and denied help in 2024, the 1st thing as Val saw our income she had said we will be denied so not sure why Val forced my wife to submit new application obviously was a fraudulent PEAK application Val forced my wife to agree filling out and submitted. VAL LEARN YOU WORK FOR STATE NOT PRESIDENT WAS A VERY HORRIBLE WAY TO CON MY WOFE TO AGREE TO SUBMIT SAYING MAYBE THE NEW PRESIDENT CHANGED OUR STATE LIMIT WOW VAL YOU WORK FOR THE STATE NOT PRESIDENT. ALSO INAUGURATION DAY IS THE 20TH OF JANUARY HOW DID TRUMP CHANGE OUR STATE TODAY JANUARY 17,2025 Val i enjoyed watching your shadow today melt in her chair how i was well prepared to help my wife and show how much smarter i am with my family and even the process of welfare than most people, definitely why im at an authority level given at a federal financial level for Tanya than a state worker i watch all laws yearly state and federal to properly comply a yearly finacial statement to the federal government as it could jeapordize myself and family. Glorified mouse clicker... Also very horrible this state only approves unwilling and non citizens that want to do nothing or cant legally work, not a real family in need of real help Colorado sucks now we are 600$ over the yearly limit now my family pays 2300 a month to insure us at my work its half my monthly income both my wife and i need surgeries and are denied at the hospital with NO MONEY as it all is automatically deducted for premiums out of my plumbing income and her ssdi so now we live on paying 7000 out per month and receive 5700 per month as we both watch criminals become healthy and colorado left COLORADANS behind to suffer and die off, COLORADO THE PEOPLE NOT ABLE TO PUT IN SURE SHOULDNT TAKE FROM US AMERICANS AS WE NOW SUFFER Tanya said she will personally report you tuesday on January 21st so you can understand MY FAMILY NOT YOURS VAL

My therapist Kate is a great support system! Through changes within my life she helps me stay calm and think through how I am feeling and action I want to take with certain big decisions in school and in day to day activities. She’s shown to understand my sensitivity and love for arts and crafts, along with thoughtful conversations. Kate is helping me through a very transitional and challenging time in my life, even though I only see her once a month for about an hour she’s shown to be very helpful to me long term. I highly recommend women’s health center if you are looking for a friendly, flexible, and affordable therapist. Thank you!

This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. I could comfortably talk about my state of mind without being judged. This place needs its praises. If you're struggling, please go here.

Let's start by saying, I was supposed to be on a 72 hour hold, which turned into 5 days and I was never told exactly why I had to stay that long. That being said, there was a lot that could be fixed. Admitted March 15, left March 20th 2025. Instance 1: I had a roommate who had a stomach bug or the flu, something that made him throw up constantly. I asked for a different room since I cant handle the sound of people gagging or throwing up, only to be handed ear plugs and basically told best of luck when there was a patient without a roommate and a free room available. Fast forward one night, my roommate threw up on himself and his clothes. The night staff helped him and got him new clothes. But left the dirty ones in the room, on the counter, near the sink. The smell, obviously filled the room, so I stepped out, hoping that somehow the room would air out or the staff would notice that the clothes were still in there. I had already taken my melatonin already, so im seeing shadows and things from how tired I was. When one of the night staff guys saw me after maybe ten minutes of me wandering the hallway to stay awake, he, very rudely, told me to go back to bed. To which I informed them the throw up clothes were still marinating in the room. It seemed like that annoyed him, which made him get up and actually do his job and throw out the clothes. He did a courtesy swipe with a Kleenex wipe and told me to go to bed. Instance 2: there was like a school system built into the schedule, so we were at the gym. We played volleyball and A accidently hit another patient, K, with the ball. K was already going through stuff so they blew up on A. Staff was quick to respond to separate them and walking us back to the unit, but once we got in, it was every man for himself. Other patients, including me, had to keep K and A separated so nothing went down. A was basically having a panic attack now, with no help from the staff. There was a bit of tenstion, but ultimately they decided to be civil with each other. Again, with no help or word from the staff. Instance 3: the last one because this is a lot, but this is short and sweet. There was this patient, R, who was known to have seizures. R and I were pretty friendly since this was my first time in a MH. We were talking in a small group in the hallway with a few other people when R suddenly passed out. Another patient, B, I think knew R or knew how to tell when someone was gonna have a seizure, and immediately told the staff. All they did was tell us to give her space and give her a cup of water. Then R actually started seizing. It still took a minute for staff to come, but they did after we were basically screaming at them to help R. It was the first time I saw someone have a seizure and it was scary. But like any other time, we were left alone amongst each other. R was okay, to my knowledge, and was back in the same hour or the next day (my brain is bad at times) I think if you truly want to help people, waiting till the last second and/or getting upset at patients is not the way. 2 stars because Jay (i think) and two more staff were really nice and chill and actually listened to us. I also enjoyed the food, and the patients themselves were nice for the most part.

I've just now had the courage and strength to write about my experience with this place. It was several years ago but it still haunts me. My daughter had admitted herself and after hearing the horrors of her stay, I worked to get her transferred to Denver Springs. They were not happy about this. The director at the time, not sure if he is still there, called the police on me and lied that I was yelling and cussing at everyone in the lobby. I've never been so shocked in all of my life. To see a professional completely bold face lie to an officer right to my face. They ended up banning me from the premises and refused to let me see my daughter. And all I was doing was trying to get her transferred out of there. I was not creating a scene or anything. And when I spoke with the director, it was in a private room with just him and I and I certaintly didn't yell at him. I told my daughter to contact the patient advocate and her psychiatrist there laughed at her when she requested one. He told her, "good luck" and that she shouldn't listen to me because I didn't have her best interest in mind. And like he said, the patient advocate did nothing for her. They ended up telling me if I could get a bed for her at Denver Springs, that I could come back and they would release her to me. So I secured a bed for her, went back to Highlands to get my daughter, and they again called the police on me. When the officers arrived I told them the whole story and that I was just trying to get my daughter moved. It wasn't until they started asking me about my spouse and what she did for a living, she was a clerk for Justice Coats at the time, that they told me to not worry and let me go home immediatey. My daughter was on an ambulance first thing the next morning being transported to Denver Springs. It's terrifying to think what might have happened to our daughter, and me, if it weren't for my wife having such a prestigious job at the CO Supreme Court. What would have happened to an ordinary parent trying to do what's best for their child? Stay away from this place. They are terrifying.

One of my children has been enrolled here for 4 months. The staff and owners here are amazing, supportive and patient. I can't imagine a place that is more likely to help my child succeed. They truly treat the whole family through parent coaching, whole family and multi-family activities, and even coaching other siblings in how they can build their relationship and support the sibling that is enrolled. Some reviews mention a high staff turnover. In the 4 months we've been here, I've noticed one person leave. It hasn't been a problem though. Our child regularly works with several people here and they get to know each other really well.

It sure is a relief that there are people in this world who actually understand addiction and the mechanisms that fuel it. My wife and I owe Trish, Tj, Ms. Sharon, Becky, and everyone there our lives! They have all gone to bat for us to help us get our child home. And for once it’s looking like we will have him home soon! We couldn’t have made a better decision than to walk through that door and ask for help. These people are not only great at what they do… they are genuinely good people, with integrity, and are really there to actually help with the recovery process. I hate to think where our lives would be if we never walked into BAART That day. We thank all of you guys for what you do! You guys don’t receive enough credit!!! Thank you
