The people there are amazing as well as the people that are part of your treatment the treatment team work together as a team. There like being home the patient rooms are very nice well keeped clean But I have a problem with the nursing staff as well as the doctors by the way they treated some patients but that is the passed. The food was ok but the main cook wouldn't listen to the patient and there needs. But all in all it was a great place to go to treatment and for me I was able to really work on me and yet be able to listen to other that to is helpful it shows you never have to be alone. We also when to outside meetings that could and it helped me a lot as well. THANK U FOR HELPING ME WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST.

This place is terrible all about $ and could care less about the patients

I had a great experience in Valley Hope, they have the greatest counselors. The advice that I received from them has been useful to improve my lifestyle and the relationships among my family. All the staff members are lovely persons.

A very good clinic. I used for audiology. Took quite a while to get an appointment, Reception folks are pleasant and helpful; doc spent appropriate amount of time assessing my audiology test and fitting and tuning my hearing aids once they arrived.

The Golden VA clinic is superb. From Primary Care to Audiology, my experience has been excellent. My primary care physician, Dr. David Kresin and his team are extremely well qualified, caring, professional and responsive to my needs as a patient. I definitely have a high level of confidence in my Primary Care team and the VA and appreciate each of them. The audiology department at this location is spectacular. Modern and high tech equipment operated by qualified and caring professionals has resulted a tremendous improvement in my quality of life. U.S. military veterans are lucky to have this VA facility and those professionals who staff it.

I'm switching my VA primary care physician from Aurora to Golden. More convenient for driving

I couldn’t be more blessed with my experience here! The staff was extremely thoughtful and truly cared about my well being. I learned more than I could ever imagine from the amazing clinical team and built life long friendships with other people in the program…I highly recommend Rocky Mountain recovery to anyone seeking help in a comfortable detox setting, they will take care of insurance and all other headaches so that you just focus on working on yourself and getting better. I look forward to a long happy life in recovery!

The best detox i have been too. Im surprised they take medicaid. All of staff are exceptional, they treat you like a human, and are willing to go out of the way to help you. Conor, your the man! The facility is a bit small and laid out kind of funky, but you get essentially a hotel room with a TV. Private bathroom and good shower. Yes, you may share the room with someone, but most of us i'm sure have been bunked up with a lot more than one other. Food was good, snacks when ever you want. You may smoke outside and vape indoors. If in the Springs or Pueblo it's definitely worth the drive. I'll definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know that is thinking of a detox facility. Thank you very much to all that helped.

If you have children who have been exposed to a parent with substance use disorders, this program is hands down the best program ever. My kiddo went there at 12 years old, although her dad has not been part of her life over the last four years, she has taken so much from this program. I love it and would and do recommend that anyone attend this program.

If I had read the negative reviews before seeking help here myself, I likely would have been too scared to get help when I needed it. This place changed me for the better. My room and shower was way better than I expected, I felt comfortable in my room for my entire 6 day stay. The food was good. My daily schedule consisted of 4 groups a day, seeing a prescriber for medication and seeing a therapist to talk about my day. This daily routine helped me tremendously. Before I came here, I was crying at least one a day and my sleep schedule was messed up. The first night I was here, my sleep schedule was fixed in an instant and I only cried once during my 6 day stay. This place changed me and the other people who were there would tell you the exact same thing. Everyone I met was incredibly nice to me, the nurses, therapists, group leaders and especially the other people I met in there who we're trying to get their mental health together like me. I could comfortably talk about my state of mind without being judged. This place needs its praises. If you're struggling, please go here.

the people here, most definitely care. & if anyone says otherwise, i question them, not the staff. even when id get aggressive, they never retaliated. they also trusted me and gave me another chance after being suicidal. and their trust for me caused me to do better. they would calm me down, & reassured me. they made it very memorable in here. they’re very helpful. Michael Jeremy Justin Ebonny Trent & Brandon are my favorite Michael is very attentive & pretty monotone . when i was having bad moments and times, he never returned it with disrespect. instead, with kindness, respect, & maturity. no wonder he’s a manager here. he’s good at what he does. he understands how to say the perfect thing at the perfect time. he’s never said anything to rub me the wrong way or make me uncomfortable. he’s a people person whether he likes to admit to it or not. he’s also pretty funny. Michael saved my life many times, & helped me stay away from self harm. so did Ashley & so did Justin. Justin helped keep me from self harming. he’d always notice the signs, & immediately stepped in to make me feel better. he prevented me from self harming. Justin when he was working there, made sure i was always safe, & made me laugh in times i was anxious. he’s an angel. he’s pretty patient, & protected me when a girl threatened to assault me and tried getting close to me. he calmed her down and also checked in on me. Trent is very patient and reassuring Josh is very friendly interactive and funny Ben he is super sweet, & very kind. he doesn’t shame people for being themselves. Jeremy is able to calm people down , and he’s just a vibe. he does what he can to help people. he’s insanely intelligent, & always says the right things. you can tell he’s been through things to be so mature. Jeremy came to help me during a vanilla code. he literally helped me so much. i felt heard, validated, understood, but most importantly, he helped calm me down because that’s the person he is. kind and loving. he understands people’s needs before they say a word. that is his gift. Brooke is highly sweet, & a good predictor. her intuition is to the max, it’s impressive. Hidie is so so sweet and beautiful . i could tell she’s smart by the way she talks. Trevor the tall one is very helpful . when i had a seizure, he was there calming me down and he actually cared. Ebonnie is such a kind person and i like the way she acts/talks. she has a young side to her that she’s not afraid to show. she’s also pretty gangster. u can tell she’s not the type of woman you’d want to mess with. her kindness does not equal weakness. Brandon is very interactive, and is able to touch people in a unique way. he tries his best, i could tell. Ashley is super supportive, & amazing . she’s always smiling and is upbeat. Kim is super nice, & forgiving. she’s the light. Alicia is very intelligent and encouraging . Cris is super sweet, & a natural.💕

The staff was very professional and kind 99% of them, of course is always that one percent that doesn’t fit into this category! Food was delicious! And as a vegetarian when I realized how to figure out the system, they brought my food upstairs to the horizon unit for me because I have IBS and I’m 66 years old and to jam that food in my mouth in less than 15 minutes by the time you walk downstairs and go through the line Was outrageous! Another thing that really bothered me is, I have severe neuropathy and they refuse to provide me with ice packs until I threw a fit yelled and screamed and cried. Did they finally provide me with ice packs this is unacceptable!!! Joey, the mad nurse was one of my favorites. Matthew and I kinda had a rough start and then I really enjoyed him. The gentleman who came from the teenager or kids unit who gave the art history lesson about Turner the artist in the late 1700s early 1800s from the UK was amazing. We need to have him on the floor every day teaching classes to the adult unit because he was amazing!!!

Food SOO good. Great place, truly do care for their patients. Without a doubt I can say, this place saved my life. I was on the adolescent unit.

If it wasn't for the kindness of f my therapist I would still be scrambling through my head ,she has help me improve each time I see her .I have met some of the other staff and everyone is very kind. Love these people they have made such a difference in my life

This clinic has been an absolutely integral in my mental health over the past 8 years. Barriers to care, primarily socioeconomic, had kept me from seeking and maintaining regular help for a long time. MHCD/WellPower has given me tools and resources I truly never thought possible and helped me clear those barriers and hurdles to finally be able to care for my mental health. Every psychiatrist, therapist, nurse, staff and pharmacist has been incredibly helpful and supportive when I’ve been both stable and in crisis. Scheduling appointments and contacting certain departments can sometimes be difficult and require patience, as they serve such a huge patient population. However, that “inconvenience” is well worth knowing that everyone there is on your team. Thank you WellPower for breaking down those barriers and for creating a safe space to get the help I thought I couldn’t get.

There are some clinicians that work here who have a genuine interest in seeing you heal and when you are a victim of domestic violence and stalking you need all the resources you can get. Thank goodness for Paola Atehortua, she is one of the best case managers I have ever seen and extremely professional and goes out of her way to help her patients succeed. Paola boasts a motherly and nurturing attitude in her care for her patients and is one of the best clinicians I have seen in operation and gives Wellpower the notoriety of being one of the best mental health centers in Denver. Truly grateful that people like Paola still exist.
