This place saved my life. The entire staff is incredible and I quickly built relationships with everyone. And I could go on and on about my counselor Lindsey. She’s incredible, literally the only person in my life I look forward to talking to twice a week. She’s hands down my absolute favorite person ever. She goes out of here way and makes my recovery a priority. I’ve never had a support system like this and it’s the best feeling.

My therapist Kate is a great support system! Through changes within my life she helps me stay calm and think through how I am feeling and action I want to take with certain big decisions in school and in day to day activities. She’s shown to understand my sensitivity and love for arts and crafts, along with thoughtful conversations. Kate is helping me through a very transitional and challenging time in my life, even though I only see her once a month for about an hour she’s shown to be very helpful to me long term. I highly recommend women’s health center if you are looking for a friendly, flexible, and affordable therapist. Thank you!

I have struggled with mainly meth addiction for 8 years or so. I was feeling so sick everyday. My body felt toxic, the meth wasnt giving me energy anymore, I was depleted. I was craving nature and nutrition. I have been desiring to come to innerbalance for over 6 years now. I didn't have the money then. I went to 2 other rehabs before this one covered by medicaid instead. I honestly am thankful for all 3 of the rehabs I have been too. I have learned so much and after completing innerbalance and understanding all my underlying health issues and learning how to heal I finally believe I can move foward past addiction. I am so thankful and blessed to have gotten to come here. I haven't felt this good for a longtime. I feel joy again. I have a solid recovery plan, relapse prevention plan and relapse plan. Everyone that works here is so encouraging and supportive. I have had so many laughs and good times here. I feel ready to go out in the world. I believe that I will never get stuck in active addiction again. I will just get back on the horse if a relapse does happen. I'm ready. Thank you innerbalance! I am very satisfied! 😀🙃 Amie Raniewicz

Colorado Medication Assisted Recovery, familiarly known as “CMAR,” is hands-down the best program for addiction recovery. From the intake process to the first day in a group session, they make you feel so at home. So many times addicts like me have a lot of anxiety about entering a treatment center and being judged or not feeling like they belong. But my experience is quite opposite of that. People from all walks of life, with all different addictions are there and are welcoming and loving and supportive. CMAR has truly become a family to me. The nurse is very attentive and warm and exceptionally smart. The therapists are so knowledgeable and can really help you uncover the “Why” behind your addiction and unravel it, as well as give you simple life skills to combat the ups and downs of life as they come. Thwy also offer a very lenient schedule of either being able to attend online or in person, but in person is so much more impactful because you really get to know each therapist and your fellow addicts and that’s how it really becomes a family. I am highly partial to the morning IOP sessions with a therapist named James. Everyone connects with therapists differently, so the staff has all different style therapists to make sure their clients have the best experience possible. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the office in Thornton in Denver proper, and the drive doesn’t bother me at all because I know I’m walking into a place where each time I’ll walk out better and more understanding of my addiction so that I can heal and continue in long-term recovery. If you are committed to living a more full life, and your goal is emotional and mental sobriety, as well as sobriety from your drug of choice, GO TO CMAR. You won’t regret it.

Working in the behavioral health field, I’ve referred numerous clients to CMAR, and the outcomes have consistently been excellent. The staff is highly skilled, compassionate, and responsive — truly dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery. Their outpatient programming is well-structured and evidence-based, offering flexibility without compromising quality. What I appreciate most is their collaborative approach; they communicate regularly with referring providers and truly value continuity of care. Clients have shared positive feedback about feeling respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to continue recommending CMAR to anyone seeking meaningful, professional substance use treatment in an outpatient setting.

North point has been nothing but an amazing place for me to get away from all the mess and find myself again. The staff is the absolute best. So funny and super open/honest with everyone. Very understanding. The free time we were given outside of class to be outside in the beautiful weather and chat with other peers meant so much to me. This place really allowed me to open up to others, which has been a struggle for me for a long time now. And the outings to go to meetings and get a feel of what recover looks like outside of the facility has given me the courage to keep pursuing that after release and to go meet others in recovery and continue down this path. Thank you so much northpoint recover!

While I was a little hesitant getting into treatment like most, the staff at sandstone were extremely patient and caring throughout the whole process. I attended and completed the dual diagnosis iop program while in treatment the staff at sandstone did an amazing job to make me feel welcome and comfortable and addressed and concerns quickly and effectively. The groups were very involved and really challenged me to grow as a person. After treatment I’ve been attending the alumni program that meets regularly and does fun events. It’s been a really good way to connect with others in the sober community and to get the extra support when I need it. I would highly recommend looking into sandstone if your considering treatment or haven’t found a place that’s right for you.

I went through sandstone twice. Once when I was 18 and again when I was 19. At the time I was not willing to admit that I had a problem with substances. I thought I had everything figured out. The years after I had graduated the program I was able to prove to myself that I still knew nothing about my alcoholism. I am grateful for sandstone since I wouldn’t have even been able to have any type of knowledge about my own substance use if it wasn’t for the amazing staff over at sandstone. They helped me get my foot through the door into the world of recovery. I don’t know where I would be without sandstone and I am beyond grateful for the effort the staff puts in to help people with their mental health/substance abuse. I now have a great relationship with my family, a true connection with my friends and most important I have a life worth living now. That is just the surface of what recovery has brought into my life. I have sandstone to thank for that!

Things I loved Sandstone Care 1) Group therapy, and learning new skills. 2) Once enrolled you can also schedule individual therapy. 3) After graduating the program you are invited to Alumni events. So you always feel connected to the program and get to meet previous graduates of the program. Some events I’ve been to were Lantern Festival, Animal sanctuary, Game Nights, and many more. There are also zoom sessions. I really am thankful for the Alumni group and coordinators for always checking in.

Located in Louisville, Colorado, The Rose House is an alcohol and drug rehab center for women. They offer gender-specific residential treatment that focuses on the whole person. You’ll find The Rose House – Addiction & Mental Health Treatment Center in Lafayette, Colorado, about 20 minutes outside of Boulder. Since 2007, this boutique res
I want to start this review by acknowledging that recovery from mental health issues, trauma and addiction is HARD. There is no one place that will be a good fit for everybody and no place will work until the client wants to change and is ready to do the very difficult work required for healing. We stumbled upon the Rose House when we had almost lost all hope for our 18 year old daughter. She had been in and out of various mental health facilities and rehab facilities but nothing worked. She was an addict but if she checked into a rehab facility the trauma she had experienced caused her to go into a fight or flight response. She acted out verbally and by self harming. Although they would claim to be a dual diagnosis center, they would always call us within a day or so and tell us they didn't have the type of facilities to help her. If we tried to get her residential mental health help we were told there was no such place. She could only be put on a 72 hour hold if she was a danger to herself or others. Our daughter's addiction began when a couple of men lured her into their trafficking scheme. She was 14 and they paid her a lot of attention. In her mind one of them was her boyfriend and she felt flattered that an older man would want her. They started giving her drugs in exchange for sex. Soon she needed the drugs to stop the feeling of guilt and disgust she felt from what was happening to her. When she finally said no to one of them he physically and forcibly raped her. I wish we had understood earlier what was going on. (This man is now serving 97 years in a Colorado prison) We walked into the Rose House and took a tour at her lowest point. She agreed to look at the Rose House but wasn't committing to going. After the tour we sat in Alison's office and I asked her if she thought the Rose House could help my daughter. Alison said if she is willing to come she is exactly who we help. My daughter said no one can help me I'm broken. My daughter checked herself in a few weeks later after being arrested for a DV situation and a high speed chase with the police. She spent a night in jail and realized she did not want to spend another one there. She had a court hearing. Alison met us there to support her and then took her to the Rose House. We couldn't speak to her for 2 weeks during the settling in period. Once we could communicate with her we saw growth every time we spoke or saw her. I asked her what was different this time. Her answer was 1. I'm ready for help and 2. the staff knows what they are doing and I know they care about me. I don't want to paint the wrong picture, recovery is never a straight line and it doesn't always happen in a set period of time. I was glad that the Rose House worked towards goals and that's what drove moving to the next step - not a set number of days on a calendar. They were also there on the tough days. Setting boundaries when needed, treating clients with respect and always showing compassion and consistency. The other thing that is different about the Rose House is that they really believe that the healing of the client's family is important and do a lot of work towards that with the weekly family zoom meeting and the family weekend. We learn that we can not control the decisions of our loved ones but we can set boundaries for ourselves. We can support them in their recovery but we can't do it for them. Our daughter graduated from the program and spent some time in the step down program. She is now 19, just received her 6 months chip for being clean and sober and is holding a fulltime job. She continues going to meetings almost everyday and is working with her own therapist to continue the work that was started in the Rose House. I honestly believe that if we hadn't found the Rose House she would be dead now. Instead I get to hug her everyday and get to see the wonderful woman she is becoming. The Rose House and it's staff have our undying gratitude.

The Rose House has met every expectation you’d want from a recovery facility. Whether treating mental health or addiction. The staff truly cares about the clients at the house and has great dialogue with the families of the loved ones who are being treated. The treatment process relies on community within the house, staff, and families to create a positive healing environment for the loved ones as well as their families. It’s been the best facility compared to the others in terms of care and continuation of care.

I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar. I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future. I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' Fire Mt saved my daughters life. She was 15 when she went in, and had had 2 suicide attempts before Fire Mt.. My daughter was diagnosed with severe ptsd. from some things that tragically happened to her as a baby and beyond my control. The therapists at Fire Mt explained to her what her ptsd was, and helped her while she was going through it. The food was super healthy and my daughter learned so much. Although she did run after 4.5 months, (which I was upset about because Fire Mt is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any kid), she is doing so much better because of Fire Mt. She still eats well, because she learned that eating well made her feel better there, and she tells people how much Fire Mt really helped her. She complained to me on the phone while she was there but when she reflects upon her time at Fire Mt now she says it was the best thing I ever did for her. I am forever grateful to Fire Mt for their expertise in handling her and for all the staff. There were a few issues I was not thrilled about ; I was very upset that Fire Mt would not take my daughter back after she ran, but the good far outweighs any bad and the time my daughter spent there was life changing. I am forever grateful that Fire Mt. exists. My daughter left last July of 2020 and it is a year later that I am giving a review because I could not find the words. These people go above and beyond. My daughter is now a straight A student. I dont think she would have survived without the intervention of Fire mt. Huge thanks!

Best treatment I’ve received! I cannot thank Fire Mountain for all they have done to help me take back my life.
Fire Mountain truly changed my life for the better. Not only did I receive the diagnosis that would forever change the way I went about my struggles, but I met amazing people that inspire me. FMRTC changed my life. I finished the program not knowing how I would survive once I left, but it turned out that internal conflict wasn’t something necessary. Everyone that I had met there, including the other residents, helped me find my new perspective on life, especially my amazing therapist. There are most certainly hard days and now, I know how to manage them and keep living the best life I can because of what they’ve taught me. I was able to move out and continue my undergrad and hope to one day become a psychotherapist myself. But as of now, I am a behavioral therapist at 18 years old. I never thought I would see the day I would be able to help people and use the struggles I went though as motivation, unable to see that there was a future in store for me, but here I am, following my passions. I hope to one day be able to return the favor of everything FM did for me and to go back to beautiful Estes and work for them. **My tribe’s the bear tribe!!!**

Centennial Peaks Hospital offers alcohol and drug rehab programming to adults and adolescents in an age-specific format. Serving the Louisville, Colorado area, their levels of care include detoxification, inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. Centennial Peaks Hospital offers a wide continuum of care to me
I have done ECT here with Dr. Katz. It's one of those things that you don't really want to do, but once you do, you are glad that you did because it changed my life. Medicine didn't work well for me, so I was desperate, so I tried this and it worked. I don't have to take medicine anymore and I feel so much better. Don't be afraid, it isn't too bad, you just forget a few things that happened that day.

Being in a place like this can be really rough because It’s different on the outside you’re used to getting what you want In here they give you what you need I would like to send out a special thanks to Zach. He was very helpful & went above and beyond. He would pull me aside and talk to me like a human not just a patient. He always had a Calm, cool and Collected mindset, which really helped me get through the time I had to be here so again I want to send a special things out to you Zach, thank you.

I have been to several hospitals for care over the years, mainly in Virginia. However, I had a run where I had to be hospitalized at Aurora North, where my treatment was not treated. Rather, I was discharged after one day. I immediately went to Centennial Peaks Hospital who cared whether I started sleeping again. I didn't have many medication changes, which was good for me. I started ECT treatments which have made a world of difference for me. All in all, I am satisfied a 10 out of a 10 with this group/hospital. They are really there to help their patients out. Please note that not everyone receives the same treatment but what I experienced and continue to do so through ECT is wonderful and has worked for me. It is nice to know that people actually WANT to come to work and smile and interact with the patients. Other hospitals do not do that.

The Rose House is a treatment center for women. Support extends to pregnant and postpartum women, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans and survivors of trauma and sexual and domestic abuse. They also address mental health and addictions. They also address love addiction and grief or loss. They’re based in Lafayette, Colorado. Private health insurance

The Rose House is the answer to our prayers! After many different programs and facilities we feel so grateful to have found a place that is truly committed to changing lives. These professionals know what they are doing and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your loved one does the hard work.
