InnerBalance is a hidden gem among inpatient rehabs. I struggled with addiction for many years and went to several inpatient rehabs. Nothing was working. I was physically ill by the time I reached InnerBalance, with frequent seizures, low platelets and liver disease. I was in so much emotional pain and despair. InnerBalance gave me a lifeline. What made it so phenomenal, were the people who worked there, many of whom are still there today. There was an emphasis on nutrition and correcting imbalances in my body. I was allowed to go out at times to explore Loveland. That kind of normalcy and trust was meaningful. I was given support through group and individual therapy, as well as a nutritionist and life coach. The organic meals were very nourishing and the education around how to care for my mental and physical health were invaluable. They encouraged me to go to sober living after I left InnerBalance, which made a huge difference in maintaining my sobriety by giving my body and spirit more time to heal. I relapsed several times within that year, but because of the genuine support I had received from the counselors at InnerBalance, I did not continue in any of my relapses. I now have six and a half years of sobriety. InnerBalance gave me the support I needed to let go of what was holding me back from sobriety. I learned how to love myself in a way I never had before. It was just the beginning of my journey, but their program and everyone there, had a ripple effect that changed the way I approached early sobriety, and even the way I still approach my health. I hope anyone who is struggling with addiction finds their way to the wonderful people at InnerBalance.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, because I love this place. I have been seeing my current therapist here for a couple years now and have seriously experienced a complete turn around in my life in every single area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Listened carefully and provided detailed information about my issue, then provided necessary care and inserts to ensure my foot healed properly and quickly.

When I first came to this class I was terrified. I sat in the back watching from a distance. I didn’t want to participate, afraid I would be treated poorly. With this said, Anne held my hand and lifted me up. She is an Angel sent from heaven! I truly believe God placed me with her. I first arrived at Serenity House in 2010 and had 4 previous Sober Living House experiences with which to compare it to, and Serenity House won. I ended up staying there for 6 months when I decided that I was fit for reentering normal society, but I relapsed quickly and hightailed it back to a sober room there. It’s easy to blame everyone and everything for a relapse except yourself, and I started to blame Serenity House for drinking again, but as my mind cleared I realized that the blame lies exclusively with the disease and me. During the numerous times I’ve enthusiastically moved back to the Serenity House after making my life an alcoholic mess, I’ve always found it to be a safe, clean, and very tolerable place to begin or continue my recovery. The rules and responsibilities are sensible and reasonable. Presiding over a couple dozen addicts and/or alcoholics is like herding cats – it’s not always easy. Yes, it is a for-profit business, and yes, kudos to the owners for having a safe and comfortable place for us to get our act together.

I will forever be grateful for this place Choice House. I had big dreams as a young man but due to addiction found myself lost, directionless, and hopeless in my mid 20’s. By the grace of God in the Fall of 2025 I had the opportunity to go through Choice House residential treatment as well as sober living and can say that my life has forever been changed for the better.The relationships I have built with not only my peers but the staff as well are ones that will last a lifetime. first mental hospital iv ever gone to before and i really liked it. at first i was really scared and i would cry everyday and i wouldn’t eat but the staff would try to be really supportive and try there best to get me to eat and drink water and one time i had ate macaroni and this one staff clapped for me cus she knew i wasn’t eating i was to scared and depressed at that. and i had a lot of support definitely 10/10 i honestly miss mountain crest so much, also met so many kids there that were so chill and we just understood each other besides this one girl i didn’t like but anyways yea. mountain crest is cool the staff there are really sweet and nice at least for me i felt like they cared and gave me the support i needed while being there never judged anything i said just support and advise.

Recently a family member received services at the newly located PVH behavioral management unit. The staff is excellent. Case managers Hannah and Ryan were in contact with me frequently to give updates and help in any way they could. They obviously cared and worked with our family according to goals and assistance contacting outside agencies and placement for transfer. The whole team from visitor’s desk to the Drs is top notch.

Like i miss this place and i dont know why but i made friends there staff where nice and understanding and helpful, i thank all the staff memebers for helping me in there most understood where i was coming from and i miss those people so much and all my friends that i had in there

My therapist Kate is a great support system! Through changes within my life she helps me stay calm and think through how I am feeling and action I want to take with certain big decisions in school and in day to day activities. She’s shown to understand my sensitivity and love for arts and crafts, along with thoughtful conversations. Kate is helping me through a very transitional and challenging time in my life, even though I only see her once a month for about an hour she’s shown to be very helpful to me long term. I highly recommend women’s health center if you are looking for a friendly, flexible, and affordable therapist. Thank you!

There’s been staff members here that I’ve been a part of my life for over 15 years like Tom and Carol and Tiffany Thompson these people have had my back. They’ve been there in my life and even been pretty much like family to me. Fire Mt saved my daughters life. She was 15 when she went in, and had had 2 suicide attempts before Fire Mt.. My daughter was diagnosed with severe ptsd. from some things that tragically happened to her as a baby and beyond my control. The therapists at Fire Mt explained to her what her ptsd was, and helped her while she was going through it. The food was super healthy and my daughter learned so much. Although she did run after 4.5 months, (which I was upset about because Fire Mt is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any kid), she is doing so much better because of Fire Mt. She still eats well, because she learned that eating well made her feel better there, and she tells people how much Fire Mt really helped her. She complained to me on the phone while she was there but when she reflects upon her time at Fire Mt now she says it was the best thing I ever did for her. I am forever grateful to Fire Mt for their expertise in handling her and for all the staff. There were a few issues I was not thrilled about ; I was very upset that Fire Mt would not take my daughter back after she ran, but the good far outweighs any bad and the time my daughter spent there was life changing. I am forever grateful that Fire Mt. exists. My daughter left last July of 2020 and it is a year later that I am giving a review because I could not find the words. These people go above and beyond. My daughter is now a straight A student. I dont think she would have survived without the intervention of Fire mt. Huge thanks!

Fire Mountain truly changed my life for the better. Not only did I receive the diagnosis that would forever change the way I went about my struggles, but I met amazing people that inspire me. FMRTC changed my life. I finished the program not knowing how I would survive once I left, but it turned out that internal conflict wasn’t something necessary. Everyone that I had met there, including the other residents, helped me find my new perspective on life, especially my amazing therapist. There are most certainly hard days and now, I know how to manage them and keep living the best life I can because of what they’ve taught me. I was able to move out and continue my undergrad and hope to one day become a psychotherapist myself. But as of now, I am a behavioral therapist at 18 years old. I never thought I would see the day I would be able to help people and use the struggles I went though as motivation, unable to see that there was a future in store for me, but here I am, following my passions. I hope to one day be able to return the favor of everything FM did for me and to go back to beautiful Estes and work for them. **My tribe’s the bear tribe!!!**

The Jacob Center does not take their place in the community lightly. Coaches are trained and knowledgeable in subjects including trust intervention, resiliency, and trauma. Meetings between youths and families use community involvement to naturally encourage mindfulness and resiliency.
