About Serenity Solutions

Serenity Solutions is a private counseling office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They provide proven therapeutic interventions for adults struggling with substance use disorder, mental health issues and other life challenges. You can access services in the office or virtually for your convenience.

They accept private pay options, including FSA and HSA. As an out of network provider, they don’t work directly with insurance companies. Reimbursement may be available through your health insurance company.

You can participate in group and individual therapy to learn more about how the challenges you’ve experienced have contributed to substance use. Their therapists are trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. They’ll help you understand and change your behaviors to get to the root of addiction.

Anger Management Counseling

One great feature I noticed was that they offer anger management. You can access a nonjudgmental space to express your emotions and learn how to channel anger effectively.

They help you gain skills and strategies to regulate your emotions and deal with anger constructively. You can use these tools to enhance your recovery journey.

A Convenient Location

You can easily access their office by public transportation. The center is close to the Schuylkill River Trail and Fairmount Park. These natural green spaces offer opportunities for relaxation, outdoor activities and reflection.

You’ll also be near coffee shops, wellness resources and art venues. They’re conveniently located near community centers and support resources to supplement your journey.

Many former clients enjoyed their welcoming environment. Some highlighted the flexible scheduling options, ongoing support and commitment to healing and growth.

I would highly recommend Alisa to anyone seeking therapy, especially if you’re struggling with anger or perinatal anxiety/depression but also for just struggling with “life”. She’s both genuinely compassionate and incredibly intelligent and insightful. She also goes above and beyond to be a great therapist, and is really involved in the Philadelphia ACT therapy organization (ACBS). Couldn’t really ask for a better therapist!

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Per session payment lets you pay for each treatment at the time of service. You may also pay for a certain number of sessions up front and then pay for more if needed. This format allows you to tailor the financial investment to your specific needs and avoid having a large lump sum payment due at the end of the treatment program.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs specialize in providing comprehensive care for clients who choose to remain in their homes and communities during treatment. Their services may include transitional support for clients stepping down from intensive inpatient programming. Ambulatory medical detox may be provided for clients at low risk for withdrawal complications. Many programs include evening, night, and weekend services to accommodate clients who are working professionals or caregivers. Addiction counseling and life skills training are common treatment modalities.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a syndrome of dependent alcohol use. Also called alcohol use disorder (AUD), the symptoms include craving alcohol, not being able to stop drinking, and feeling anxious or irritable when not drinking. For many people, alcohol rehab in Pennsylvania is a beneficial treatment. Programs offer many levels of care, including medical and behavioral therapies.

Drug rehab in Pennsylvania is devoted to the treatment of addiction. Levels of care, treatment methods, and settings differ, but the aim of each program is to end drug dependency and empower participants to achieve long-term recovery.

Programs

The postpartum period is a sensitive time, especially for women in addiction recovery. Rehabs with specialized programs for new mothers will offer compassionate, personalized care to meet each client's needs as they transition from pregnancy to this season of life. Care teams may include obstetricians, pediatricians, and social workers working collaboratively to give women, children, and families a healthy future.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Pennsylvania can be helpful to individuals who are experiencing substance use disorder and various mental health conditions. It helps you identify damaging thought and behavior patterns and replace them with healthy ones.
