Welcoming Drop In Center for Cuyahoga County Mental Health Clients
They also have proven through research, that many in recovery or treatment heal at a faster rate with support of their peers, family and community. They are primarily funded by The Alcohol Drug and Mental Health Board of Cuyahoga County, but also operate on donations, fundraising events and sales from their peer created arts and crafts products.
Arts & Crafts Program to Improve and Build Upon Basic Work Skills
I find it good to know that their arts & crafts program helps individuals improve their basic work skills. It also encourages you to interact with your peers and therefore, develop strong social skills so that you may be better prepared for re-entry into the workforce and as an independent member of your community.
I love that they focus on providing a safe environment for you to heal and connect with your peers to achieve your wellness goals. They also provide access to community resources, which may include treatment centers, relapse education programs, therapy support and job placement programs.
