Had Brian smith and was getting meds through him. But honestly I feel like the behavioral health does not care about the people that are being treated. I wish dani Eddings was still my Dr!

I’ve been on my sobriety journey for about 4 years now and I’ve never felt so seen and respected. I normally get treated like an addict, but here I felt like I was an actual human being just wanting to get better. I had just walked in and got seen not even 30 minutes later, my dr Megan was the absolute sweetest lady I’ve ever had as a doctor. The front desk lady was so helpful, and the drs nurse assistant even called after they had closed just to make sure I got my medicine. (Also, the Jordan valley pharmacy was also super helpful and got my medicine filled in 10 minutes after leaving the dr) If you want help and are ready to get sober I highly suggest Jordan Valley!! :) They have a sliding scale, and if you don’t have insurance and are going to apply through Jordan valley the 1st visit is covered and so is the Suboxone at the pharmacy! They will help you get insurance. Thank you Jordan valley <3

Don't recommend Jordan Valley or provider Clay Veurink. At my most recent visit with Clay he expressed being annoyed and frustrated that he had to click some extra buttons on his laptop to prescribe me one of my medications. After expressing his annoyance, he then told me that he won't be able to give me that medication because of my “high blood pressure”. Reached out to my PCP to see if she could help me with my blood pressure, just to be told my blood pressure is fine and they had no idea why Clay would say that. Then I discovered Clay was actually doubling my prescription for another medication. Reached out to Jordan Valley on June 23rd to request to see a different provider. They said a supervisor would have to call me back. Called back on June 24th and was told the supervisor had 48 hours to return calls. Called back on June 26th when I still hadn't heard anything and was told they would mark my request as “urgent” for a supervisor to call me back. Called back on July 1st and was again told that they would have a supervisor call me. Now it is 330 on the 2nd and I STILL haven't been called by anyone. 0/10, don't waste your time here if you can avoid it.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehab enables clients to continue to work, attend school, or reside at home while undergoing treatment, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Evening, night, and weekend sessions are available at many facilities to ensure continuous access to care on the client's schedule. Many centers also offer ancillary services, such as career coaching and peer mentoring, to promote clients' sustained recovery and community integration. Higher-level outpatient treatment, including intensive outpatient (IOP) care, is also widely available.

Clinical Services

The goal of cognitive behavioral therapy in Missouri is to help clients change their thinking and behavioral patterns. Strategies of treatment include role playing, facing fears, and calming techniques.

A complete course of dialectical behavior therapy typically takes six months. Skills training happens in a group setting. You'll also attend weekly individual treatment sessions to receive coaching from a therapist. You'll work on understanding and accepting your feelings and learn how to manage them to make positive changes.
