About KINGDOM HOUSE

Kingdom House offers sober living arrangements for men and women in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Their residents live in a substance free home where they develop healthy habits in a recovery focused community. There are two homes for men and one for women.

Fees and Housing Features

A $100 initial processing fee is required, followed by weekly rent payments of $150. The house is newly remodeled with on-site laundry facilities and televisions in every bedroom.

House Rules and Responsibilities

Residents need a sponsor to live here. There are also a few house rules you must follow to reside there, including passing random drug screenings, observing curfews, doing chores and attending house meetings. It’s worth noting that you must also obtain a full time job immediately if you don’t already have one.

Supportive Environment and Positive Outcomes

Many reviews of Kingdom House highlight the supportive environment and long-term positive outcomes. Residents note that the program offers structure, peer support and guidance.  One resident said, “The staff and peers provide guidance and mentorship, creating a place where commitment to recovery can truly transform lives.”

Made all of my meetings payed all my rent on time, missed 1 meeting for another house because I went with my kids school shopping. Got kicked out. Spent 900 on my kids 300 a piece. And 150 twords rent yesterday with 21$ to my name.Kicked out today. No refunds on your money. The guy that runs the house has black mold everywhere everything is roach infested and broken. They don't care about your health livelihood or wellbeing. I have to sleep on the streets tonight. After working so hard to be put in a position worse then what was before coming here. Don't waste your time or efforts go to a better soberliving then this. Because this ain't it.

My son and his fiance met at this sober living house. Along with a group of peers living in this house, my son was able to find a better life sober because of the works this location does. My son bounced around from sober living home to home. This one was where he landed and found truth in what a sober living home is intended to be. If you have the opportunity to take residence on the road to recovery, it's a warm safe place who believes and follow through daily to help people under the influence of addiction learn a way to a true life of sobriety and a sense of community. My son has been sober for 5 years now. When he entered , he was at rock bottom. He bought in to what the taught and followed the program. Since leaving this place, he has become a productive part of his community, he has recently got engaged, he has his first child, and has bought his first home. But first and foremost, he has learned to become a man I am proud of. God opened doors for him because he believed in his faith and in the process they teach there. He is an inspiration to those have been where he was and also to those in his family who struggle with addiction to show them a way that many who enter this program aspire to become. Kyler Jackson is my son, he is a survivor, and he beliefs that anyone who can commit to a faith and following a process can give u what many who fight addiction want to achieve. My family is eternally gratefully for what many in this home have guided him and made him the success that he is. Influential friendS while at this home include Jesse, Shane, justin, Peyton, not to mention many more. If you struggle to find a true place of mission and compassion, this is the place to go. My family is proud of what the kingdom house has been doing for people for a long time now. I love that house because based on friendship, compassion, and structure works miracles for so many in need of that. it is definitely a home for those broken. They spread their wings of life around everyone who wants that and they wrap their wings around them, nurture them, and build them

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Sober living homes in Louisiana offer a drug- and alcohol-free environment where residents can maintain or establish their sobriety. Also called a halfway house, this setting offers peer empowerment, support, accountability, reinforcement of recovery principles, and individual responsibility. It is a safe place where residents can solidify their recovery skills and prepare to return home or establish a new independent life.

Treatments

Alcoholism - also known as alcohol use disorder (AUD), alcohol dependence, and alcohol addiction - is a chronic condition that describes a form of problem drinking that causes harm to a person's health and relationships. To treat AUD, alcohol rehab in Louisiana is usually necessary. This typically involves three phases: medical detox to safely withdraw from alcohol, rehabilitation through evidence-based therapies, and support for long-term recovery maintenance.

While each drug rehab in Louisiana offers unique elements, recovery support often follows a similar pattern. Detox is followed by inpatient and/or outpatient care, then aftercare support is provided once the participant completes the initial program.
