What we can do however, is talk very briefly and generically about our program and approach.
As a healthcare team, it is both our duty and responsibility to engage in a continuous improvement process. Over the past decade, we’ve strived to improve every aspect of our care. In areas where we fall short, our goal is to improve. One of our long-term goals has been to provide better follow-up care. In some follow-up cases we shine, in others, we miss the mark, and in so doing, we evaluate what went wrong and address areas of future growth.
The important thing to consider here is that follow-up care is essential and recommended no matter what treatment program a person engages in. It is an essential part of recovery, and particularly helpful when dealing with comorbid mental health issues. Reach out to your providers if they haven’t yet reached back out to you. Talk to them about your specific concerns. We realize, with COVID, that many healthcare organizations are stretched thin. Bring these types of issues up with your healthcare team and ask for clarity, referrals, and support. Work together to find solutions post-treatment.
As a whole, we believe strongly in the entire team working together to provide the best care possible. We are not simply a company providing services, we are caring individuals and providers who believe in the benefits of embracing a healthy sustainable lifestyle. We believe in putting in the extra hours, time, and energy that an individual may need—it's what makes the job meaningful for us. We want to ensure care can smoothly continue once back home, or at the very least, that appropriate referrals are in place if the client refuses care. To this end, we coordinate closely with at-home providers to help increase the chances of a smooth transition for the client, as we are just one stop along their journey.
Whether it’s our in-house physicians, direct care, counseling staff, leadership, outside providers, psychiatrists, or the prior inpatient facilities that clients may have attended, we all need to work together to help someone living with mental health concerns. Each of our multi-disciplinary providers are appropriately trained and licensed and act within their respective scopes of practice and attend additional industry trainings regularly throughout the year. We have systems in place both internally, with daily case discussions and supervision, and externally through diligent care coordination regarding members of a client’s outside care team. This leads to a lot of time and energy that we believe is well-spent coordinating care for our clients. We do this to enrich the client experience with a deeper, more personalized level of care and to provide them with the best opportunity for recovery.
Not everyone who seeks treatment has a positive outcome. And while we’ve witnessed many success stories over our long history, sadly, there are cases where a person is not yet ready, willing, or able to change. While we know intuitively that we can’t reach everyone, we still operate from a place of hope that things will improve. We do our best to meet clients where they’re at, believing that clients will move towards a healthier more sustainable future. For many, this means assisting them with their newfound autonomy, life-skills development, and accountability. It’s about gaining the ability to take ownership of their lives and moving away from old destructive patterns. Unfortunately, we cannot do this difficult work for them, and it is heart-wrenching as providers (and loved ones) when a person does not to change. When clients fall short of desired goals, as does happen on occasion, we hope that the lessons learned in treatment will be readily accessible later on.

Other Forms of Payment
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.
Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a modified form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a treatment designed to help people understand and ultimately affect the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. DBT is often used for individuals who struggle with self-harm behaviors, such as self-mutilation (cutting) and suicidal thoughts, urges, or attempts. It has been proven clinically effective for those who struggle with out-of-control emotions and mental health illnesses like Borderline Personality Disorder.
Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
