About Teen Challenge of Baltimore
Teen Challenge of Baltimore, now known as Adult & Teen Challenge of Baltimore is located on North Potomac Street in Baltimore, Maryland. They provide teen and adult rehabilitation, treatment and support for your loved ones.
Historic Residential Location
They are located in a beautiful, historic residential area in a brick two-story walk-up with ample onsite street parking. Nearby, you will find many walkable restaurants, retail stores and local businesses.
There are also many hotels nearby if you need a place for you and your family to rest. Additionally, you will find many local natural landmarks to visit including Patterson Park, Frank C. Bocek Park, Eager Park and Joseph E. Lee Park.
Faith-Based Year-Long Recovery
They focus on providing you with faith-based recovery support to help you heal, recover and grow with the help of your faith. Their program requires a 12-month stay to encourage lasting sobriety and wellness. They focus on rebuilding trust between you, your family and friends and finding inspiration from faith to grow and succeed.
Two-Phased Recovery Program for Men
I find it good to know that their program is divided into two stages including induction and training. Their induction includes 4-6 months of what they consider a “spiritual boot camp” for men who want to thrive in their recovery through faith.
Phase two of their program – training consists of 8-10 months of treatment, therapy and Bible study. I like that they also incorporate community service into the program and also work therapy programs into the schedule.

Addiction Treatments
Levels of Care
Inpatient rehab enables clients to focus exclusively on their recovery while living in a highly structured and supportive environment. Inpatient treatment is typically designed for clients who have just completed detox, are in early recovery, and/or are at an elevated risk of relapse. Their treatment generally involves intensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family counseling. Many inpatient rehabs also offer recovery-focused life skills training and/or holistic therapies, such as yoga, massage, and meditation.
Treatments
Alcohol use disorder (AUD), commonly referred to as alcoholism, can be classified as mild, moderate, or severe. Each category involves unhealthy patterns of alcohol consumption and can cause harmful effects. To treat alcohol addiction at any level, alcohol rehab in Maryland is often necessary. These treatment programs provide psychological, social, and medical supports that help individuals overcome alcohol addiction and maintain long-term recovery.
Once a person has become addicted to a substance, drug rehab in Maryland is often necessary to overcome that addiction. These programs provide the tools individuals need to manage the physical, mental, and emotional issues involved and begin a successful recovery journey.
Programs
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
