After being diagnosed with Non epileptic seizures/events in December 2024, it has been a battle. Though my seizures/events are getting better, I am still struggling with being listened to by medical staff. I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Ernest T. Hanes at Noran Neurology in Lake Elm. Dr. Hanes not only knew what NES was but was willing and able to help. Getting me on a new medication, setting me up with referrals, and ordering testing for me.
