I have had the opportunity to take the WRAP course twice. My first experience was in 2019 at the Mecklenburg County Detention Center. Unfortunately, that session was not effective for me, as the facilitator appeared rushed, disengaged from the class participants, and primarily focused on ending the class on time each day. In contrast, the WRAP course offered by Transfer, LLC, under the facilitation of Ms. Lisa Lee, I found to be profoundly impactful. Each session left me wanting more, and I can honestly say it has been the most empowering and enlightening class I have ever taken for relapse prevention. Ms. Lee dedicated her full attention not only to the group as a whole but also to each individual participant. She ensured that everyone understood the curriculum and the importance of recognizing when and how to apply WRAP strategies in potentially harmful situations. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Transfer, LLC, - Wellness Recovery Action Plan course. Particularly under the facilitation of Ms. Lisa Lee. 🤗 Blessings to All.

Coach Li (Lisa Lee) is truly a gift. I recently had the privilege of taking a WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) course led by Coach Li, and I can honestly say it was life-changing. Her presence is powerful, compassionate, direct, and deeply authentic. From the moment the class started, she created a space that felt safe, supportive, and real. Coach Li didn’t just teach us from a book, she taught from her heart. She shared her own testimony with courage and vulnerability, which made it easier for all of us to do the same. She didn’t rush the process or sugarcoat the work, it was deep, emotional, and even exhausting at times, but because of her leadership, we felt seen, heard, and valued. What sets her apart is her ability to balance truth and grace. She challenges you, but also uplifts you. She listens, but also leads. She’s the kind of coach who doesn’t just help you learn the material, she helps you live it. If you ever have the opportunity to take a class, training, or workshop with Coach Li, do it. You’ll walk away not only with tools for wellness, but with a stronger sense of self and a deeper understanding of your own journey. Thank you, Coach Li, for your transparency, strength, and heart. You are the real deal.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

North Carolina offers substance abuse treatment programs that provide a holistic and evidence-based approach. Through a comprehensive mental health assessment, addiction experts can provide an individualized care plan specific to your needs. You can expect most rehabs programs to provide individual and group therapy, recovery meetings, and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Depending on your circumstances and severity of addiction, you may need more intensive care. Levels of care include outpatient, residential inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization. By choosing the right level of care, you're more likely to succeed in long-term recovery.

Drug and alcohol rehab programs that simultaneously treat mental health disorders are known as dual diagnosis centers. The specialized programs recognize that mental health conditions affect the whole person - physical, emotional, and spiritual. That's why mental health is at the center of many different dual diagnosis therapies, including individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma therapy, family support therapy, and more.

Programs

The providers who specialize in the children's rehab space understand the specialized needs that this population faces. School-based and social services such as tutoring and family counseling are often central to treatment. Child programs may also address the needs of youth experiencing substance abuse in the home, including a parent's or sibling's addiction.

Teen programs are designed to address the unique pressures teens face, pressures that can drive them to experiment with dangerous, addictive substances. They need programs that meet them exactly where they are and give them tools for long-term recovery. Therapy can help teenagers understand and work through underlying issues so they can reclaim the life ahead of them.

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Clients who receive cognitive behavioral therapy in North Carolina typically attend five to 20 sessions. During this time, they work with their therapist to learn healthier patterns of thinking, which can help them change their behavior related to substance use.
