Hands down the best counseling services in Fairbanks. The owners, Joseph and Gunnar, are probably 2 of the most skilled compassionate people I’ve ever met. They specialize in brain spotting, an effective treatment for trauma. They are the best in the business. Johnathan is also great with kids. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

If you need help with addiction , they are the folks to go see. It may take a few weeks to get in, and it's by appointment only. The staff is unbelievably helpful. The receptionist, counselors, nurses, and the doctor are awesome! They also have a needle exchange program for those who are in need of that service. If you or someone you know has an opioid issue, please give them a call, they can help.

Fantastic organization. If you intend on fostering, FCSA is the organization to do it through. Firstly, we were notified of the process and all expectations so we weren’t blindsided by anything as the State of Alaska does the background checks (my wife is from Texas so the process took a bit longer). You’ll have a case manager, and our experience has been, they are very supportive. They’ll explain the difference between TFHG and community-based foster care (in case you wanted to consider one over the other). We’ve honestly never had a bad experience working with the agency; my wife and I have worked with the agency for about 3-4 years now. Everyone from the case managers to the clinicians are all very nice and supportive. The reimbursements are more than fair and the homes they provide are amazing. As long as you’re willing to accept feedback, treat the children well with care, and stay on top of documentation responsibilities, you’ll do fine at the agency. My wife and I don’t see ourselves going anywhere anytime soon. :).

I absolutely love this church. I have grown so much as a Christian and as a person here, more than any other church I’ve been in in my life. I love the variety of people and have developed many close friendships. The preaching is powerful and true to God’s word. And I love how many missionaries come through our church presenting the need of the world . God has blessed our church with tremendous leadership and people.
