About Emmaus House of Raleigh
Emmaus House is a sober living home that can be found near Moore Square in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their primary goal is to help prevent relapse for the men in their care. They’ve been providing their care to the community for over 30 years.
Supporting Men in Recovery
The property isn’t one house, but rather six houses in close proximity, each offering affordable transitional living, accountability and support to its residents. In half of them, each resident’s stay is limited to two years.
This gives you enough time to solidify your recovery foundations, find employment, mend relationships, and practice sobriety before moving back into your own place.
However, in the other half, you may be able to stay for longer than two years if requested. This is because they don’t only aim to extend your recovery support, but also help you work on things like legal issues and becoming debt free.
An Environment of Care
One of their program’s strongest elements is that, although the staff are serious about keeping residents accountable, they also have a deep compassion for them. A resident recently described these houses as “an awesome place to live.”
