How disappointing. Thought we would find support for my husband, but they pulled the rug out from under us by closing this location and recommending their other facility that is out of network and more than double the cost. Seems a bit like a scam.

I went here back in January for detox, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, they make you very comfortable and do whatever they can to assist you on your journey to recovery. It was just the beginning of my recovery process and I am so thankful I went here, I am now rolling up on almost 4 months sober and it all started at Guardian. I hope to never be in that situation again, but if I do, this is where I will go. They work with you and offer groups throughout the day where you can really do some good healing and work, the provide all your meals and even help you get into follow up care if you decide not to stay there for the inpatient program, this place changed my life, they really understand that we are human and deserve a second chance. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.
heart-hands iconIntervention Services
If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

Treatments

When a person has alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism or alcohol addiction, they experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop drinking. This physical dependence results from overuse of alcohol, which may be used as a coping mechanism or escape. Individuals who have AUD can overcome the alcohol addiction through alcohol rehab in Florida. This treatment process involves essential therapy and supports to help the individual achieve and maintain recovery.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

In Florida, substance abuse treatment focuses on treating mental health and substance use disorders concurrently to improve recovery outcomes and overall health. Levels of care include medical detox, outpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs. Clinicians utilize evidence-based therapies such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) or medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and skills training activities. This comprehensive approach to treatment helps to ensure sustained recovery.

In Florida, dual-diagnosis addiction treatment treats mental health and substance use disorders concurrently to enhance successful recovery outcomes and improve overall health. Specialized rehab programs include medical detox, outpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs. Using evidence-based therapies, like dialectical behavioral therapy or medication-assisted treatment, clinicians successfully treat dual-diagnosis addiction and mental health conditions. Other activities include group therapy and skills training, to equip you with the skills required to achieve and sustain your recovery.

Programs

Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

Guardian Recovery was an absolute life line for me. I came in completely terrified and scared, immediately was welcomed and taken care of by nurses and Techs. Not ever having been in detox they made it a place where I felt safe and guided me through being able to safely clear my fog of alcohol. I receive therapy and groups through the Clinical staff Jackie, Mrs. T and Tina also Kash with all of her amazing, true kind guidance. The Techs who are there for everything 24/7 Mocha,Angelo,Joe,Keisha,Jazmine, Fatima all of them. They were all there for every and anything. So hard working caring and went above and beyond not just for me but everyone. I went from being terrified to cared for and Heard the director of operations Billy even sat with the whole group to hear how we were feeling and what if he could, do anything to help make things better or changes we might think would be better. Even Bj and Coop who are there to serve our meals and house keeping were so considerate and available even just to listen. I was able to connect to others in this environment which was very helpful during this process.Icould not be more grateful to every single person staff and clients all. Thank you so much for being my saving Grace in such a dark time, I was able to really get all that I needed and more to walk out with resources and peace I needed. Forever grateful!!!! Ashley🥰

The first thing I want to say is how special the staff is here. They are a caring and compassionate group that seem to really care about their clients as people. I went there to detox thinking I would handle the rest on my own having no idea what a treatment facility was about. I quickly realized that a little break and reevaluation was the best thing I could do for myself. They made things easy taking care of work paperwork etc. I saw the folks go out of their way to assist other clients with their individual needs. Be it legal, financial, or personal. If you need help and are ready and willing to change, They can help. I did see a few people come and go but we sort of learned not everyone is ready to accept help. I hope for them that they try again when they are ready. This is not an easy thing. Not everyday was sunshine and butterflies. But the staff went above and beyond to provide individual attention when it was needed. Sometimes that meant waiting an extra 15 or 20 minutes for something. But that's not a bad thing. It shows they can prioritize care where it us needed. I can speak highly enough of my time there. I am on a new path and feel great!
