Well what can I say ,lasted about 5 weeks at this place the first therapist that I had was decent. about 4 weeks later I finally seen the psychiatrist and there was a lack of communication he could speak English but he could not comprehend English completely. In addition, this the first thing I noticed by meeting him he had a lot of animosity towards me not sure why but he was down talking belittling me and being very aggressive towards me, not sure if it was from the lack of communication. Well, from this experience this psychiatrist would be considered a psychopath . This Psychiatrist needs to be reported to the medical board his license should be under review or he should be forced into retirement in addition , the office workers at the front desk are quite nasty and rude I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Sincerely, Flint fury.

Accepted Insurance

Insight Recovery Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Clients receiving care at an outpatient rehab remain in their own homes and attend treatment as often as daily, depending on the level of need. Outpatient care generally consists of psychotherapy, addiction education, life skills training, and community reintegration support. Many outpatient treatment centers provide step-down care, including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and standard outpatient services. Some outpatient rehabs also offer ambulatory medical detox and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

inpatient iconInpatient

Clients in inpatient rehab reside at the treatment facility while engaging in intensive daily treatment. Inpatient care is primarily designed for clients leaving detox, those in early recovery, and those at an elevated risk of relapse. Clients participate in intensive addiction counseling, which may include group and family therapy as well as one-on-one sessions. Recovery-focused life skills training is also often prioritized. Many inpatient rehabs offer evidence-based complementary therapies, such as yoga, meditation, art therapy, and animal therapy.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

While many people know it as "day treatment", a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers treatment during the day and allows you to live at home. PHP treatment typically requires a commitment of at least 20 hours of treatment every week, with a program duration that spans approximately 90 days. While commuting is necessary, some programs offer telehealth options. PHP treatment plans usually include relapse prevention, medication management, and behavioral therapy.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

During a medically supervised detox, addictive substances are removed from your body while under the 24/7 supervision of medical professionals in an inpatient environment. This is the safest way to wean your body off of addictive substances, since quitting alcohol or certain drugs (like opioids or benzodiazepines) can be dangerous if done on your own. The program typically lasts around 5-7 days, but is highly individualized depending on your needs.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Clients receiving care in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) typically have completed inpatient treatment, but some choose to enroll in IOP immediately following detox. Intensive outpatient rehabs offer high-level support for clients in early recovery and those at an increased risk of relapse. Most programs provide between nine and 20 hours of treatment per week, with services ranging from addiction counseling to recovery education to medication assisted treatment (MAT). Holistic therapies, such as acupuncture, are common.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Michigan provides personalized treatment to help individuals break this cycle and regain control of their lives. Treatment methods are used in various levels of care, including inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and standard outpatient treatment.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

In Michigan, specialized substance abuse treatment programs are available for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol use. These programs utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. Treatment options usually include outpatient, inpatient, and residential programs, offering individuals a comprehensive approach to recovery. Through a combination of therapy, counseling, and support, treatment can help individuals regain control of their lives and achieve long-term sobriety.

Michigan's dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs provide specialized treatment for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Levels of care include outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization options. Using a combination of evidence-based therapies, trauma-informed care, group therapy, and psychoeducation, clinicians can help you address the underlying cause of your addiction, treat both disorders, and promote overall mental health and well-being. You'll also develop a support network and enhance your coping skills.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Michigan helps participants view challenges more clearly so they can respond to them in healthy ways. During a limited number of structured sessions, clients learn about and practice these changes to effectively address substance use and mental health disorders.

Addiction often involves intense situations and emotions. Dialectical behavior therapy helps you understand and regulate your emotions and better manage the situations that evoke those feelings. You'll receive mindfulness training and stress management training to cope more effectively with difficult emotions.

equine-therapy iconEquine Therapy

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

This is the worst place ever I should have check reviews before I wasted my time. Dr Vora should stop practicing. He doesn’t listen and quick to send you to day treatment if you speak up, bc he doesn’t want to listen. Adria a therapist here will completely fail you.. she fall to sleep on you… She will missed the deadline on you FMLA paperwork, I almost lost my job, make you wait outside for about 15 min I assume she needs a nap before seeing each patient. They will try to make you lose your job… It’s a ghetto mess. I would put money on ppl under their care here. Probably one of the most place where ppl then unalived themselves, or not better. It’s a Job to them here they care absolutely nothing about your mental state. They care about they check and going home. You will not reach your goals or have full life with them helping with mental illness… I’m planning to take my issue with them to a legal fight or awareness to mental health so they could be held accountable for what they targeted and provoke me in trying to live a full successful life. Don’t put your mental health care in the care of them…

If you care about your mental health, look elsewhere. Dr Voras should have his medical license revoked. He seems more concerned about what insurance covers and doesn't cover than actually having empathy towards his patients. After 18+ months of seeing him my mental state is far worse off than before I started seeing him. Office staff are nice but unprofessional. I loved how he put me on a heavy mind-altering pysch medication after deciding I'm depressed (I'm not?) without discussing anything about it with me, nothing about side effects or the fact that I'm not supposed to take it with the other meds he gives me, just "Take these, they might help, see you next month" after another long three-minute appointment. Within 72 hours the meds resulted in a manic episode freak-out which resulted with me on a 72-hour psych hold at the ER. And now I'm even drinking again after 10 years of sobriety. Hell, the Hurley Mental Health place is better than this place.
