This place was lifesaving… until BHG came in and prioritized margins over quality of care. They also charged hundreds and hundreds of people thousands of dollars of “back balance”. It costs so much money out of pocket. Prepare to become hooked on Methadone, looking for help, and their hooks will already be set. Trap house with certificates.

This place has truly been great. That have helped me reach a standard of sobriety that I have upheld for a long time now. So grateful for the effort and comfortability the nurses and staff put into the clients. How can I forget my relationship with my counselor Isaac Rue has been extremely beneficial and he is very helpful in keeping my accountable during my sobriety journey. I definitely recommend his place to anyone struggling. Don't hesitate.

If I were you I wouldnt waste my time coming to this location . The director here barely does her job . They pick and choose when to uphold policies there was a sign up that said "(July 21st badges are required to dose if your badge is not present than you won't be able to dose)" ... July 21st - Aug 5th my badge was present with me , when I tried to show my badge I was turned down every nurse waved they're hand and said we don't need that right now . Then comes Aug 6th many people didn't bring they're badge because it wasn't "important" obviously everyone saying we don't need it . Or they made a mistake and left it at home , with that being said Aug 6th many people were turned around after being put into the que and standing in line because they didn't have a badge present . You either had to pay 5$ for a printed piece of paper or you had to go home and not dose . No exceptions!!! Why do that to someone? Then when you need to speak to someone everyone is busy or not not even in the building . It's a real circus please don't waste your time . They are making you have a piece of paper as a badge just to type your number in and your picture be right there in they're faces on the computer . They act like anything you say your wrong they pick and choose way too much the director is always on vacation or not in the building they over talk you and act like your concerns don't mean anything something needs to be done this place has no structure at all and really needs new directors and everyone needs to sit down have a meeting and learn how to run a treatment facility this place is not friendly everyone always has attitudes or act like they're tired and don't want to be there or do they're job it's really hard to stay uplifting and happy when you come through the door with a bunch of people that works but acts like they are coming off of drugs or something . People really need to learn whatever your going through don't bring it with you to work everyone has a struggle don't make your problem everyone else's and grow a heart . Hearts can't be grown so if you don't have one to begin with don't choose this type of work for yourself . And if your on your journey to sobriety and choose this place I pray for you and hope you choose to stay focused and not let anything pull you back . In the beginning it seems like they are nice and all for you but the longer you go here you understand it's all a front most nurses during intake are nice but they're way of doing things here are different and weird #StaySober #StayFree # YouDOMATTER #YOU ARE SOMEBODY!!!! NEVER FORGET THAT GOD BLESS YOU ALL 🙏🏽🤝🏽

This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug addiction is defined as an inability to stop using drugs even though it causes negative consequences in your life. Drug rehab in Minnesota provides treatment for drug addiction in a variety of settings including inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Studies have shown that the best predictor of successful treatment outcomes is the involvement of the client's family (or another personal support system) during the treatment process. This support becomes even more important when a client faces multiple challenges, such as mental health illness and chemical dependency. At Valhalla Place their specially trained mental health professionals provide a variety of opportunities to involve the patient's family in the treatment process. The goal of family work is education about the e ects of mental health issues and addiction and to provide an integrative strategy to address these issues simultaneously.

Valhalla Place offers specialized group counseling for our clients who deal with mental health issues. Group counseling is a very effective method for learning skills for coping with illness, and reduces the stigma and shame often experienced by those dealing with mental illness. Our counselors have specialized training in conducting groups designed to teach clients skills for managing both their chemical dependency and mental health issues. Our goal is to educate, enhance the recovery process, sustain a stable lifestyle and support achieving the highest quality of life possible. Clients entering treatment for substance abuse may also deal with mental health issues. Mental illness can be caused by the drug abuse itself, or it may have been present prior to starting drug use, and contributed to the physical dependency and ensuing addiction. At Valhalla Place, their experienced mental health professionals have specialized training in helping you to understand your illness, the role it plays in active addiction, and can help prepare you to deal effectively with these issues during recovery.
