As a professional seeking treatment for anxiety and depression, my criteria were stringent. Exclusive Hawaii Rebal exceeded them. The integration of evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT) with holistic practices like mindfulness in a nature-rich environment is masterful. They enable and allow the safety of people in town to be jepordized. Today they allowed a woman to enter their facility after she was in the middle of the street and almost caused an accident. I advised them of the law which prohibits the theft of shopping carts. As well as th safety issues. When approached I advised this woman this not only effects the town this effects the corporations that fund our community. She said oh the corporations F*** corporations! I then called her an enabler. Absolutely horrific organization not doing what needs to be done for our community.

The staff encourage connection without forcing it. You grow socially without even trying sometimes. If you’ve been isolating for too long, this place shows you how to let people back in and how to be real with them.

When one of us struggles with addiction, man, the ripple effect just hits everyone. And this KKH place, they totally get that. They didn't just help my brother; they became a real part of our family during the toughest, most messed-up times. The constant, clear talks, the real concern they showed for every single person involved, the way they supported us as much as him – that just made all the difference, for real. It's more than just some clinic; it's a place where families, the whole damn bunch of us, can start to heal and put things back together.

I was in a bad way luckily for me I was court ordered to do classes. I went in with a closed mind and after a couple of classes, I realized how messed up I was and started to go to the classes with an open mind. Christopher is a very good councilor, he got through to me like no one could. Long story short I learned a lot about myself and the reasons I am the way I am and how to change the destructive patterns I was choosing.
