Went in this morning for a scheduled appointment. I was told that calls were sent out not to come in and that it was a telephone appointment. I did not receive said call. I would not have left the house for this appointment if I had been notified. I had been staying home because of the virus.
My situation was not handled nicely or correctly.
It's now close to an hour after scheduled appointment and no call since I 8 am appointment and I am not able to be available after 9am.
I suspect I will not hear from Dr. Or VA.

I have stopped going here because I don't feel safe. I have lived in Hilo Pahoa area for over a year. I have been attacked for the color of my skin on more than a weekly basis. I have been attached verbally, non verbally and physically. The truth is most, not all, but most Hawaiians in this area wish white people where dead.

I am a recent alumni of The Honu House. I came from Maui, recovering from serious medical issues, a broken spirit, and a desperation for change. I am now just over 8 Months sober! The Honu House team gave me the genuine care and love I wasn't even aware that I needed. Everything they offer has been a crucial part of my recovery. I'm currently a freshman at this school (been here since 7th grade), and I can honestly say that it's one of the best schools I've ever attended. They emphasize writing, science, and math. One of the best things about this school is that you can make your own electives. This allows students to pursue their interests to their heart's content. Unless you're child is self-directed they'll never succeed here. The reason why the drop-out rate is so high is because not enough kids are self-directed learners. Parents send their kids here without understanding their child's limits. I strongly recommend this school for kids who love learning.

I went in with a closed mind and after a couple of classes, I realized how messed up I was and started to go to the classes with an open mind. Christopher is a very good councilor, he got through to me like no one could. Long story short I learned a lot about myself and the reasons I am the way I am and how to change the destructive patterns I was choosing. Christopher and Access Capabilities help me change my life for the better. And to top it off he worked out a payment plan for me because I didn’t have health care coverage at the time. My loved one & several of my friends have attended Aloh House treatment facility in Maui & they all have only good things to say about it. Personally it helped my loved one who was addicted to meth for 15 years & I feel like I got them back after they went to Aloha House. Thank you again

My experience with this hospital was positive because of three people. I did have a bad experience and then I returned and I was completely satisfied with the care I received. Nurse Carlos and Claire and Dr. Bush. So I am changing my review because these three people made a huge difference.
