I was homeless and addicted on the streets of Honolulu for more than a year and a half. I did not successfully complete the entire program. The tools that I had obtained at SITC has kept me sober since September 7, 2017. I now work and reside at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I was deemed untreatble and was one of the worst cases that was reported. If I could tell SITC anything it would be thank you for the tough love and that miracles happen.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given there. I will take with me everything I learned there. The staff is incredible. There is not a better treatment out there I think which sounds biast though that's how I feel. I learned so much in the short time I was there. Forever they have left a mark on my soul. The teachers ( what I call them ) and my counselor were brutal and honest and I couldn't have asked for better people.

First off Erin the front desk receptionist should be the poster girl of every business employee ……. Welcomed me with a big pleasant smile and helped me fulfill my membership professionally from beginning to the end ……. She deserves a raise! As far as the amenities I was blown away and was pleasantly surprised on all of the equipment at my disposal kinda like a kid in a candy store. Today (November 1st) I had to edit this review because of two ongoing things ……. One there is ZERO dust under the equipment machines! Unlike other gyms this one is spotless (props to Mark head of maintenance)! And secondly and more importantly Erin is still smiling nearly two months later! She treats me and others with the most kindest respect each and every time ……. Simply remarkable in a human being let alone an employee! Definitely recommend anyone to be a member there hands down a NO brainer!

I had a great experience with Ku Aloha. I was on the clinic for almost 5 years. I even stopped smoking cigarettes when I was on the clinic.We had to attend group sessions and one on one counseling sessions.i decided to attend their tobacco cessation program. They gave me patches and gum to help with the cravings and honestly I wouldn't have been able to stop without them. Patches and gum are expensive at Longs . They really helped my Well Being in every aspect. With the individual counseling and the group sessions , I was really able to feel good about myself again. Thank you to all the counselors and doctors and nurses and staff that helped me there .

My wife and I were on vacation for her birthday when, on the last day, I had a sudden sharp stomach pain. I thought I could tough it out and wait until we flew home to get checked, but we decided to go to the hospital because the pain kept getting worse. I’m so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, everything moved quickly and efficiently. They got me in right away, ran tests, did a CT scan, diagnosed the problem, and put together a clear treatment plan. Every step was explained so I understood what was going on, and they did everything possible to avoid surgery. The doctors were amazing, and the nurses were truly incredible. Their care, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference. I honestly feel like they saved me. Thank you so much.This was the best hospital I have been to.

First time going to this relatively new YMCA. Glad that they are there to serve the community. Very basic ... A couple of meeting rooms and (finally) a covered play area to keep the kids shaded on hot Sunny days... Which is almost every day. Now they need to have enough support to keep building and add staff.

Every staff member knows my situation and how to make me feel at home. I am lucky that I chose this place for a new beginning! I was skeptical, but things came down pretty fine

This program is so very important to change your lifestyle and your way of thinking about yourself. It builds up yourself esteem, your confidence and your judgement in decision-making. The theme is base on Hawaiian culture awareness of your recovery and self improvement. The staff is excellent and experience in bringing out all facets of your recovery. I would encourage anyone who is seriously trying to better their life to give them a call....Aloha!

This place taught me many things, thanks to the help I received in this place I learned how to control my emotions, it is a great help for people who are fighting against additions. I had already been to other help centers but it had not had any results.

Went to get school supplies for my children. RTL program was so fast and organized. Thank you HHH FOR DOING THIS!!!

Staff were super nice and helpful! We were able to donate mattresses, furniture, housewares, clothes, and toiletries. They helped us unload everything and gave us a receipt for tax purposes.

Dr . Jenkins is amazing!

I've had 3 surgeries done at Queen's and have no complaints. The parking layout and flow within the building are my only gripes about this place, as you can access the building only from certain levels of the parking garage and have to catch 2 sets of elevators to access certain floors.

THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU. I was extremely dehydrated from food poisoning. Drove myself to this hospital. I came into this center and they gave me two IV bags and zophran for the nausea and had me wait in the waiting area They charged me almost $5000 for these services, my insurance was making me pay $1400 of it but said themselves that it was ridiculous the amount they are charging. Insurance had already process the claim and sent me the “patient responsibility amount” which was that $1400. Then all the sudden the hospital sends me a bill for the $5000. I called my insurance and they stated that two days after they processed the claim with the hospital July 23rd, the hospital changed the line items to the insurance company to make it reflect as if all the services they provided are out of network, which my insurance even said that is not correct and they have NEVER seen something like this. They are doing this because insurance can negotiate the amount they pay the hospital whereas the patient has to pay the full to the penny amount. Be careful with this hospital, they will try and trick you. Further action is being taken. $5k for 2 bags of saline in the WAITING ROOM, and some nausea meds is insane.

The Marimed Foundation was the best thing that could've happened to me. As a child I was considered an at risk youth. I was completely undisciplined and unruly and had a very bad temper with a very short fuse. When I first entered the program I couldn't stand it. So many rules, I was away from my family and friends, and I just wanted to be me. It took some time, but I finally started letting the program work for me. Because of this program I made new friends, learned so much about teamwork and responsibility, and I was able to graduate from high school at the age of 16. I couldn't have asked for better counselors and teachers.

Best place to come and learn about yourself and nature. The staff is awesome, they really want you to succeed in life!
