The Marimed Foundation was the best thing that could've happened to me. As a child I was considered an at risk youth. I was completely undisciplined and unruly and had a very bad temper with a very short fuse. When I first entered the program I couldn't stand it. So many rules, I was away from my family and friends, and I just wanted to be me. It took some time, but I finally started letting the program work for me. Because of this program I made new friends, learned so much about teamwork and responsibility, and I was able to graduate from high school at the age of 16. I couldn't have asked for better counselors and teachers.

Best place to come and learn about yourself and nature. The staff is awesome, they really want you to succeed in life!

Nothing but thumbs up care

I was homeless and addicted on the streets of Honolulu for more than a year and a half. I did not successfully complete the entire program. The tools that I had obtained at SITC has kept me sober since September 7, 2017. I now work and reside at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I was deemed untreatble and was one of the worst cases that was reported. If I could tell SITC anything it would be thank you for the tough love and that miracles happen.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given there. I will take with me everything I learned there. The staff is incredible. There is not a better treatment out there I think which sounds biast though that's how I feel. I learned so much in the short time I was there. Forever they have left a mark on my soul. The teachers ( what I call them ) and my counselor were brutal and honest and I couldn't have asked for better people.

First off Erin the front desk receptionist should be the poster girl of every business employee ……. Welcomed me with a big pleasant smile and helped me fulfill my membership professionally from beginning to the end ……. She deserves a raise! As far as the amenities I was blown away and was pleasantly surprised on all of the equipment at my disposal kinda like a kid in a candy store. Definitely recommend anyone to be a member there hands down a NO brainer!

I had a great experience with Ku Aloha. I was on the clinic for almost 5 years. I even stopped smoking cigarettes when I was on the clinic.We had to attend group sessions and one on one counseling sessions.i decided to attend their tobacco cessation program. They gave me patches and gum to help with the cravings and honestly I wouldn't have been able to stop without them. Patches and gum are expensive at Longs . They really helped my Well Being in every aspect. With the individual counseling and the group sessions , I was really able to feel good about myself again. Thank you to all the counselors and doctors and nurses and staff that helped me there .

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Queen’s Medical Center My husband had a serious accident in the ocean and broke a vertebra. We had to go to Queen’s Medical Center in the middle of the night – and from the very beginning, everything was handled with absolute professionalism. The nurses and doctors were incredibly kind, caring, and helpful. My husband received all the necessary examinations promptly, thoroughly, and without any hassle. A very special thanks goes to Dr. Afshari, who took a lot of time to explain the findings to us and supported us with great expertise and compassion during this difficult time. I had the most scariest experience while on vacation, anaphylactic reaction to lord knows what. The quick response of the first responders was Excellent! They reacted quickly, medicated me appropriately and quick took me to Queen hospital. I was treated with empathy, care and dignity by the night staff: Nurse Andrew and Dr. Bowman went above and beyond and approached my care with genuine intention! Thank you two for your amazingly “calling”!

So much to say, but I just want to express how truly grateful I am. Thank you to the amazing team at Queen’s Hospital—Dr. Deptula, Dr. Marui, their entire staff, and the ICU nurses. Your care, kindness, and support made me feel like I was going to be okay. This feels like the beginning of a new journey in my life, and I’m so thankful to all of you for helping me get here. I would honestly recommend this place to people because while I’m here you don’t realize it but it’s so much better then real life it’s much more chill and I honestly kinda miss it but through it you learn skills through the “dumb” groups going in I said it wouldn’t change me but it really did change me for the better I ain’t gonna forget the staff there or the people and if y’all want follow my ig @itzameelii but that’s pretty much all -CM

Of course we went in to our first session not really knowing what to expect. Yes, we were a little defensive and somewhat nervous. Within moments, Mark dispelled our worries and concerns.
