I had a great experience with Ku Aloha. I was on the clinic for almost 5 years. I even stopped smoking cigarettes when I was on the clinic.We had to attend group sessions and one on one counseling sessions.i decided to attend their tobacco cessation program. They gave me patches and gum to help with the cravings and honestly I wouldn't have been able to stop without them. Patches and gum are expensive at Longs . They really helped my Well Being in every aspect. With the individual counseling and the group sessions , I was really able to feel good about myself again. Thank you to all the counselors and doctors and nurses and staff that helped me there .

Mark Turansky / New Horizons Counseling changed my life. I had high hopes when I started the program, but deep down I questioned how it could possibly turn my situation around. I was in so deep. I tried everything and nothing helped. But the New Horizons program not only worked, it inspired me to quit drinking in less than 24 hours. And I haven't had a drink since. This program works. The process has been around for awhile and it's life changing, but there's something about the way Mark presents it that creates the real miracles. His counseling style is one of a kind. I am a recent alumni of The Honu House. I came from Maui, recovering from serious medical issues, a broken spirit, and a desperation for change. I am now just over 8 Months sober! The Honu House team gave me the genuine care and love I wasn't even aware that I needed. Everything they offer has been a crucial part of my recovery. The breath work, to the the various types of therapy like codependents anonymous. One on one sessions, trauma work, yoga it goes on and on! I honestly believe I wouldn't be where I am at in my recovery with out The Honu House.

Been to rehab a dozen times over last 15 years and never stayed sober long enough to hit my one year sober until I went through the Honu house program. I did 90 days. Super chill, 12-step based, but not hardcore militaristic like some gnarly programs. It’s co-ed, in a beautiful house on the mountain in Kona with a view of the ocean about a mile and a half away. I thought it was great because it wasn’t a super crazy packed schedule everyday, they understand the value of personal time. Fun outings, gym time, meditations, yoga, weekly massages!!! Spoiled!! JB and Nick are awesome guys, I highly recommend.

I am so glad I chose Dr Collins as my Gyn. He is not only professional but so kind and gentle ,I didn't feel rushed thru my appointment, he explains everything before he does it. I've seen both male and female Gynecologists in my 40 years on the earth and Dr Collins by far was the best, I'm looking forward to my annual checkup next year. So if you have reservations about seeing a male gynecologist throw them out the window and go see Dr Collins.

The Marimed Foundation was the best thing that could've happened to me. As a child I was considered an at risk youth. I was completely undisciplined and unruly and had a very bad temper with a very short fuse. When I first entered the program I couldn't stand it. So many rules, I was away from my family and friends, and I just wanted to be me. It took some time, but I finally started letting the program work for me. Because of this program I made new friends, learned so much about teamwork and responsibility, and I was able to graduate from high school at the age of 16. I couldn't have asked for better counselors and teachers.
