I had cardiac cath at Castle Hospital and it was my first time there. The parking is a lot better than queens straub pali momi in many ways. The staff at registeayiom department was thorough and courteous, the cardiac cath lab doctor and staff was very good and inhad a pleasant stay at pre and post procedure facilities and staff. I had a genuinely great experience during my stay at detox. I went in expecting to be miserable and counting the minutes until I could leave, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. I met some really solid people who were going through the same thing, and having that support made the whole process not just manageable, but surprisingly enjoyable. The staff was friendly, supportive, and went out of their way to help me with applications and next steps for treatment. It honestly felt like a much‑needed break from real life—a chance to step back, reset, and really look at my goals and where I want my life to go. By the end, I actually didn’t want to leave, which still makes me laugh. I’m hoping this is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience, but if I ever do need help again, I know exactly where to go. Thank you to the entire ATS Detox team for being such an important part of the beginning of my sober journey. One day at a time, and I’m grateful you were there at the start.

First time going to this relatively new YMCA. Glad that they are there to serve the community. Very basic ... A couple of meeting rooms and (finally) a covered play area to keep the kids shaded on hot Sunny days... Which is almost every day. Now they need to have enough support to keep building and add staff.

Mark Turansky / New Horizons Counseling changed my life. I had high hopes when I started the program, but deep down I questioned how it could possibly turn my situation around. I was in so deep. I tried everything and nothing helped. But the New Horizons program not only worked, it inspired me to quit drinking in less than 24 hours. And I haven't had a drink since. This program works. The process has been around for awhile and it's life changing, but there's something about the way Mark presents it that creates the real miracles. His counseling style is one of a kind. I have been stationed here three times and I’ve been to this hospital many many many times I haven’t had any bad experiences, but you do hear about them a lot. So I wanted to share I took my friend in for a procedure today, and the lady at admissions was the sweetest kindest stranger I’ve met in a long time!!! I have been going here for ~3 months since we PCS'ed in the middle of an IVF pregnancy and I still don't see why Tripler has such a bad reputation around here! We've visited for primary care, ADC, L&D, pediatric cardiology, ultrasounds, OBGYN, pharmacy, allergy/immunology, gotten labs drawn, glucose test, and have had nothing but kind staff and treatment. I've always been able to get ahold of whomever I'm calling (maybe we're lucky?) and have always been able to get appointments. I will say a few minor inconveniences are: 1) OBGYN, they are so booked it's difficult to get in for your designated appointment for pregnancy but they've always been great about fitting us in if an opening is available. 2) The hospital can become hard to navigate but you get used to it. 3) Parking sucks, ALWAYS, but doesn't hurt to get your steps in. Pregnant mamas.. hang in there for that 34 week stork parking!! 4) Pharmacy can take forever to fill your scripts so expect long wait times here. 5 stars so far, including the subway/starbucks staff! Will come back to update this review after baby is born!

I'm reviewing the walking trail located behind the hospital and across from the restaurant. It's peaceful, views are outstanding, and no one was there! If you want a nice quiet place with some cool art pieces, views with an easy shady trail this is the place to visit.

Very friendly upon walking in! Simple check in with a smile. Mammogram was a breeze with an outgoing specialist. Ultrasound was comforting with the specialist I had. She answered any questions she legally could. Both were gentle and respectful. Radiologist gives the okay to come back or go home. Home, this time for me. Yay! I am so glad I chose Dr Collins as my Gyn. He is not only professional but so kind and gentle ,I didn't feel rushed thru my appointment, he explains everything before he does it. I've seen both male and female Gynecologists in my 40 years on the earth and Dr Collins by far was the best, I'm looking forward to my annual checkup next year. So if you have reservations about seeing a male gynecologist throw them out the window and go see Dr Collins.
