Mark Turansky / New Horizons Counseling changed my life. I had high hopes when I started the program, but deep down I questioned how it could possibly turn my situation around. I was in so deep. I tried everything and nothing helped. But the New Horizons program not only worked, it inspired me to quit drinking in less than 24 hours. And I haven't had a drink since. This program works. WCCHC does not provide quality medical care to their patients. The facility treats their patients poorly because we need them and for some this is their only option. The staff does not listen or hear your concerns. They overbook the speciality appointments. Make you wait for your appointments as if our time is not of value. The staff is not professional and not does not work with a sense of urgency. My appointments for my shoulder and knees started April 2025, 2nd F/U appointment Ortho did exam my knees or shoulders, I got PT 6 sessions but no changes with my shoulder. Requested a new ortho on 7/2 walked out of Ortho appointment 6/16 because he had me waiting for over 90 minutes. 7/7 F/U with PCP office-Mgr the referral was made next available, because I did not tell the staff it was urgent. Although I told the receptionist I needed to see a ortho because the pain in my shoulder has not changed, since April and I did not receive any medical treatment for my sore knees 7/8 F/U with PCP Mgr information finally sent to ortho, this morning called the ortho office to confirm, the referral was made for my right knee nothing was mention about my shoulder. EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!
My son and I have been a patient at the WCCHC since 2004. I have lost total confidence with WCCHC, we the community deserve to receive quality medical care and it is definitely not happening at WCCHC. I am currently looking for physicians at another facility.

I have been a Kaiser Member my entire life and I am now 71. I was born in a Kaiser Hospital in Southern California and have been in Hawaii for decades. The entire time I was a Kaiser member. Kaiser just keeps getting better as far as the benefits it offers for members. I really appreciate their emphasis on Wellness. Today I saw JR in the optometry department in Waipio. Couldn't reach them on the phone so we walked over to schedule an appointment. They were pretty accommodating. My husband got into a program pretty quick. They only do zoom, and don't drug test, so if you're PO requires that you gotta figure it out another way. The engagement is pretty high. I hear my husband speaking on his meetings more than he probably did at his old in person program.

I am so glad I chose Dr Collins as my Gyn. He is not only professional but so kind and gentle ,I didn't feel rushed thru my appointment, he explains everything before he does it. I've seen both male and female Gynecologists in my 40 years on the earth and Dr Collins by far was the best, I'm looking forward to my annual checkup next year. So if you have reservations about seeing a male gynecologist throw them out the window and go see Dr Collins.
