Mark Turansky / New Horizons Counseling changed my life. I had high hopes when I started the program, but deep down I questioned how it could possibly turn my situation around. I was in so deep. YMCA is a great place to bring your Ohana. They have a beautiful pool where you can enjoy it with your family or having a nice swim on your own. They have great size gym upstairs and they also have different exercise programs and senior days where they have fun playing Bingo. I have not seen a place that has so much Aloha! I had a great experience with Ku Aloha. I was on the clinic for almost 5 years. I even stopped smoking cigarettes when I was on the clinic.We had to attend group sessions and one on one counseling sessions.i decided to attend their tobacco cessation program. They gave me patches and gum to help with the cravings and honestly I wouldn't have been able to stop without them. Patches and gum are expensive at Longs . They really helped my Well Being in every aspect. With the individual counseling and the group sessions , I was really able to feel good about myself again. Thank you to all the counselors and doctors and nurses and staff that helped me there .

I transferred from a huge clinic on the mainland and was only at the clinic for about 6 weeks before abruptly having to leave. I didn't even have time to call and tell them. I came back about a year is her and was afraid they would have a grudge because I left without a word but they didn't they made me feel very welcome. . I am very thankful for them and all their patience as I can be kinda ditsy sometimes. I am again moving but am very thankful that they allowed me to come to their clinic versus champ. I haven't meet an office full of kinder more patience pop people who actually care about your well being. Thank you KU aloha ok a my.

First time going to this relatively new YMCA. Glad that they are there to serve the community. Very basic ... A couple of meeting rooms and (finally) a covered play area to keep the kids shaded on hot Sunny days... Which is almost every day. Now they need to have enough support to keep building and add staff.

I was homeless and addicted on the streets of Honolulu for more than a year and a half. I did not successfully complete the entire program. The tools that I had obtained at SITC has kept me sober since September 7, 2017. I now work and reside at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I've been a client for 15y yrs now not because it doesn't work but because it does work. Workstar Dr McCaffrey had me on 40mg Oxymorphone 20 tabs/day with 30mg Oxycodone IR 6 tabs/day for breakthrough pain along with Xanax 3mg CR 3 tabslegal/day and Chloral Hydrate (liquid mickeys) and Soma 350mg 8 tabs/day and Ambien 12.5mg 1 at bedtime for over 12 yrs1 It's no wonder my body became physically dependant, needed alot of opiates just to function, and was then given a last month prescription cuz the Oxycontin didn't show up in my UA and sent on my way believing that I was redirecting my prescription. They didn't even want to hear that my scrips weren't even filled cuz they were stolen. They didn't care. For that clinic is only concerned with pumping out the painkillers to the ones who do redirect or sell their painkillers. Hard to believe that this "legal" drug ring is expanding and has gro!!wn from the two roomed office to the bottom floor of Queens West and now also includes a bottom floor at Restaurant Row. Unbelievable. It's not always the patient but this time the Dr. Of which it use!d to be him and 1 PA, TODD, but now consists of 10 PA and about 12 Dr's. He's banking on the legal drug scene!

Couldn't reach them on the phone so we walked over to schedule an appointment. They were pretty accommodating. My husband got into a program pretty quick. They only do zoom, and don't drug test, so if you're PO requires that you gotta figure it out another way. The engagement is pretty high. Very nice experience in woman's health. Check in and nurses are nice, mine was with Dr Enid and had Dr Nagamine for my surgeon. Both are very nice and kind, listen to my concerns and questions. Surgery was done at palimomi and all the stuffs were very nice there too, I had very comfortable stay. I took a walk in a garden in a back for my after surgery rehub, was beautiful there. Really appreciate all this happened.

Beautiful school. So many great memories here. Attended from 2010-2013. Great school with a variety of clubs and classes to choose from. Excellent teachers as well! I think it really helped prepare me for high school.

The Marimed Foundation was the best thing that could've happened to me. As a child I was considered an at risk youth. I was completely undisciplined and unruly and had a very bad temper with a very short fuse. When I first entered the program I couldn't stand it. So many rules, I was away from my family and friends, and I just wanted to be me. It took some time, but I finally started letting the program work for me. Because of this program I made new friends, learned so much about teamwork and responsibility, and I was able to graduate from high school at the age of 16. I couldn't have asked for better counselors and teachers.
