I am a recent alumni of The Honu House. I came from Maui, recovering from serious medical issues, a broken spirit, and a desperation for change. I am now just over 8 Months sober! The Honu House team gave me the genuine care and love I wasn't even aware that I needed. Everything they offer has been a crucial part of my recovery. The breath work, to the the various types of therapy like codependents anonymous. One on one sessions, trauma work, yoga it goes on and on! I honestly believe I wouldn't be where I am at in my recovery with out The Honu House.

Been to rehab a dozen times over last 15 years and never stayed sober long enough to hit my one year sober until I went through the Honu house program. I did 90 days. Super chill, 12-step based, but not hardcore militaristic like some gnarly programs. It’s co-ed, in a beautiful house on the mountain in Kona with a view of the ocean about a mile and a half away. I thought it was great because it wasn’t a super crazy packed schedule everyday, they understand the value of personal time. Fun outings, gym time, meditations, yoga, weekly massages!!! Spoiled!! JB and Nick are awesome guys, I highly recommend.

There are lots of options for meetings, you can siit and read a grapevine, play cards, do a puzzle, play music, hang with friends, and there lots of service opportunities and fun events. I was homeless and addicted on the streets of Honolulu for more than a year and a half. I did not successfully complete the entire program. The tools that I had obtained at SITC has kept me sober since September 7, 2017. I now work and reside at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs West Virginia. I was deemed untreatble and was one of the worst cases that was reported. If I could tell SITC anything it would be thank you for the tough love and that miracles happen.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given there. I will take with me everything I learned there. The staff is incredible. There is not a better treatment out there I think which sounds biast though that's how I feel. I learned so much in the short time I was there. Forever they have left a mark on my soul. The teachers ( what I call them ) and my counselor were brutal and honest and I couldn't have asked for better people.

First off Erin the front desk receptionist should be the poster girl of every business employee ……. Welcomed me with a big pleasant smile and helped me fulfill my membership professionally from beginning to the end ……. She deserves a raise!
As far as the amenities I was blown away and was pleasantly surprised on all of the equipment at my disposal kinda like a kid in a candy store. Today (November 1st) I had to edit this review because of two ongoing things ……. One there is ZERO dust under the equipment machines! Unlike other gyms this one is spotless (props to Mark head of maintenance)! And secondly and more importantly Erin is still smiling nearly two months later! She treats me and others with the most kindest respect each and every time ……. Simply remarkable in a human being let alone an employee!
Definitely recommend anyone to be a member there hands down a NO brainer!

I had a poor experience with communication. The provider was great, but as far as communicating back and forth with the office, CER as a company, was awful. Sometimes they won’t even respond or just stop responding in the middle of a conversation when you need assistance. This happened on multiple occasions and I have been unable to get needed answers or reschedule appointments. I’m very disappointed and feel let down by my care experience from them. Mental health organizations should do better than this. It’s a dangerous thing to take lightly knowing that people out there rely on you for care. People who need it. There’s more I could add, but this is more of a warning to people out there searching for a provider. Keep looking.

Worst experience ever. All I have to say is if you want to deal with rude assistants, no communication with the doctor for cancelation or rescheduling appointments for medications, and leaving you with no medication and an assistant who is not sorry for anything and won't take acceptance for what is wrong(named Stephane), and a doctor who works one day a week. Mind you this your first time experience with them Good luck to anyone who has Mrs Rosario Augustin as a doctor here.

It looks like abandoned building from outside. Parking is limited. Once inside the staff is very welcoming and docs are very friendly and accommodating.

I have been a Kaiser Member my entire life and I am now 71. I was born in a Kaiser Hospital in Southern California and have been in Hawaii for decades. The entire time I was a Kaiser member. Kaiser just keeps getting better as far as the benefits it offers for members. I really appreciate their emphasis on Wellness. Today I saw JR in the optometry department in Waipio. He was incredibly helpful and insightful. He gave me great feedback and helped me pick out a comfortable pair of glasses that I really like. I really appreciate the $150 benefit allowance to Kaiser offers each year.

First time going to this relatively new YMCA. Glad that they are there to serve the community. Very basic ... A couple of meeting rooms and (finally) a covered play area to keep the kids shaded on hot Sunny days... Which is almost every day. Now they need to have enough support to keep building and add staff.
