The financial wellness coach that has been working with me, talks to me nasty and is always arguing with me. She made an appointment back in the winter at 8:00am. Then she made another at 8:00 am a few weeks ago. So this time I asked some other employees why she made another appointment at 8:00am if they don’t open until 8:30 I told them she didn’t it before and I said I’ll wait until around 8:20. They said I have to wait until 8:30. Then later that day when I have a zoom meeting with her, she starts getting an attitude with me and talk them down to me. Plus, are you going with me that she never made an appointment before at 8 AM when she did. So I told them I can’t wait around again like last time. There’s been several times I get there at 8:30 for my appointment and I have to wait for 15 or more minutes before she see me. When I get there’s this black guy that works and tells me they don’t open until 8:30. I told him I have an appointment at 8:00am. Both times when he told me I have to wait until 8:30. He gets an attitude with me. At my meeting today she starts to are you with me again about the Duke budgeting. Even though I was right Did she get an attitude with me? And I told her I was leaving because I don’t like the way that she’s always lying and talking to me and saying she never made a appointment at 8 AM before. Then When I’m leaving, I talk to the guy at the front desk. I asked you her supervisor was to get her name and number and he starts asking me why I I tell him I just need to talk to her and then he gets an attitude saying she’s not here right now and I tell him that I didn’t wanna talk to her now that’s why I asked for her name and number when I was leaving he starts saying stuff trying to instigate me to come back and argue with him and he says you’re welcome and he still keeps saying stuff To me like he’s trying to get me to argue with him. So I just went on ahead and left. I would have left no star or a half a star, but couldn’t do it.

Took my girl to a very special place today at 737 Ann St in Newport Ky. Its a place where domestic violence reared its nasty head and took a life of a good woman as im told. I brought her here as a reminder of where any type of violence gets you if you dont take precautions. When someone shows you who they are believe them.

Accepted Insurance

Brighton Recovery works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Kentucky often starts with detox, then includes inpatient or outpatient treatment, and continues with aftercare support. Specific methods used during each of these phases varies, but often include individual and group counseling, medication, and recreational therapies.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

I went to Brighton Recovery a few months ago and my experience wasn't what I was expecting. The people who work here are not qualified enough to treat something as delicate as an addiction.

It was a positive visit. The caseworker was fast & efficient. When asked a question she didn't know, she went to find an answer. The Brighton Center has always been helpful to me & the community. In my experience they are always helpful & never judgemental.
