The program offers assessments and screenings to identify the signs of chemical dependency and provides recommendations for treatment. This treatment can help you create positive changes in your life and develop skills that support problem solving, to address all areas of your life that have been impacted by substance use.

The intensive outpatient group program addresses family recovery to develop a more supportive home environment. Staff recognize that substance use disorders alter brain chemistry and also address these issues through therapy.

When mental health conditions and substance use disorders are present at the same time, they create a complex condition that requires specialized and integrated care. Their dual diagnosis program treats substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously to improve the potential for success.

Their relapse prevention program helps you develop strategies to identify triggers and establish behaviors that support your recovery. They also utilize medication assisted treatment (MAT) to reduce cravings during recovery that impact your ability to adhere to therapy. This is especially helpful with opioid and alcohol use disorders.

They accept most major health insurance providers in the area. Staff will verify your insurance coverage before beginning treatment.

My surgery was for 6 and I didn't get back until 830 ...they staff was ok but there was no need to wait that long for a 30 min procedure..This place has went to shit ..I have never seen a wait time be 5 hours for the er... when they took out the other hospital they cause people to go else where ..this is a shitty place to go ..but we have no other choice...do better Zanesville because you got a 2 star rating...smh

I recently had Cataract surgery here and the staff was nothing but nice to me. I'm going back to have the other one done this Friday. I've had surgery's done here since 1980's and never had a bad experience from it.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements.

Treatments

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapy modality that focuses on the relationship between one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It is used to establish and allow for healthy responses to thoughts and feelings (instead of unhealthy responses, like using drugs or alcohol). CBT has been proven effective for recovering addicts of all kinds, and is used to strengthen a patient's own self-awareness and ability to self-regulate. CBT allows individuals to monitor their own emotional state, become more adept at communicating with others, and manage stress without needing to engage in substance abuse.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Experiential therapy is a form of therapy in which clients are encouraged to surface and work through subconscious issues by engaging in real-time experiences. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. This can involve role-play or using props (which can include other people). Experiential therapy can help people process trauma, memories, and emotion quickly, deeply, and in a lasting fashion, leading to substantial and impactful healing.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is a way of getting nicotine into the bloodstream without smoking. It uses products that supply low doses of nicotine to help people stop smoking. The goal of therapy is to cut down on cravings for nicotine and ease the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

This hospital is terrible, they tried to tell me I couldn't be on the phone with my daughter when she was there. They started yelling at me. Mind u they wasn't being recorded or anything. The phone was laying down to where u couldn't see them. I will be getting a name of this nurse. Oh she wanted to be rude I got the same attitude back. Don't try to tell me I cant be on my phone with my daughter. No wonder u have 2 stars. I will be going on with father actions with this. So I hope u have fun with this.

I went into surgery Tuesday to remove a small cancer from my lung. Prior to surgery, I went to endoscopy where they were supposed to inject a dye INTO my lung that would allow my surgeon to see and remove the cancer using the robot. I was taken directly to surgery from endoscopy. But it turns out that the dye that was supposed to be injected INTO my lung was instead surrounding the outside of my lung, causing the surgeon to not be able to use the robot to remove the cancer. So now, I still have the same cancer as when I went in and I'm experiencing all the pain and anxiety. I want some answers from the team who messed up the dye injection

I never leave reviews and rarely pay attention to them just because they typically consist of emotionally angry customers. The 2 star rating is no surprise but, it should be 1 star. I highly recommend taking your loved one elsewhere for more serious matters.

This is the slowest hospital ever. Been here since 9 something and it's already almost 1 o'clock and my bestfriend got X-rays and now she's waiting to see what the next steps are. This place is ridiculous and really slow some people would like to go too bed at a decent time ya know🙄

I don't ever leave a review if I don't have anything nice to say but I have to on this one. I called the ambulance for my mother who had a stroke (but was unsure at the time) thinking that they would get her there fast and get her seen quicker. Did not rush her there, once in the checking we were told that her vitals were ok, I guess they did a cat scan (so we were told) and that they didn't see anything, the Dr on call was going to schedule an MRI. This was at 10am on a Tues. We sat in the ER waiting room until 7:30ish (may have been closer to 8pm). She goes back to a room and the then Dr on duty said he didn't think it was a stroke but could be an infection like a UTI or not sure but will get some tests ran. Finally hooked her up to a catheter so she could pee. Did a heart scan around 9:30ish and found her heart was enlarged and thickening. Said they will request a heart monitor. Finally around 11:45 pm they came and got her for an MRI. Had to leave while she was in the MRI and within an hour into the drive we get a xall saying that it was a stroke and she had been having mini strokes. I almost screamed in the phone. I got back to the ER Finally about 2:30am and never saw a Dr the rest of the time. They finally put her in a room at 3:30pm Wed afternoon. After many attempts to get a Dr to talk to us or tell 7s something it never happened. She was released on Fri at 3:30 to a rehab and was never given discharge papers or saw a Dr and told anything. This was the absolute worse experience that I have ever had with a hospital. If I would have known how this hospital was and what we were in for, I would have drove her to columbus or else where my self. I wish this town had more hospital options like I have here in MD and surrounding areas/states. Read reviews and talk to people who live here before making this your go to hospital. When we came to get her heart monitor we say for 2hrs for a 10 min process.

I have never met a Dr so disrespectful as Dr.Kelley. If you hate your job that much maybe you should seek employment elsewhere. I try my best not to have to go to Genesis for the simple fact of him being in the er. People come to see you because we are scared Dr.Kelley! I don’t want to be at the hospital. I’m in enough hospitals as it is, but you get paid! Please try to show a little humanity towards others. You sir are not god. You are in my prayers.

The communication between staff and patients suck at best. Ask for help in room, most time never show up. Doctors are not communication with nurses. Some nurse have a smart mouth to patients. Some staff act as if they don't have to do anything and are very rude. Released with no one telling us what is wrong and what happened. Not impressed at all.
