Addiction Treatment Deeply Rooted in the Jackson Community
SOTC’s deep root in the community enables clients to receive care grounded in local understanding and strong support networks.
Opioid-dependent adults can benefit from an integrated care model involving medication-assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric care and case management. SOTC also offers school-based services for children, psychological diagnostic assessments and support for individuals with problematic gambling behavior. Additional services include psychotherapeutic support for crisis patients, early intervention for at-risk individuals and referral assistance to higher levels of care such as medically supervised withdrawal.
They even provide substance use laboratory testing, withdrawal onsite monitoring and supportive family therapy. Their diverse services and welcoming outpatient environment make it possible to serve justice-involved individuals, pregnant or postpartum women and LGBTQ+ clients with dignity and care.
The really great thing about SOTC is their dedication to providing low-cost care and high-quality care that’s accessible to medically indigent members of the community. A discounted or sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.
Integrated Opioid Addiction Recovery
SOTC’s integrated care model offers a path to whole-person healing for those facing opioid use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Recovery begins with a full screening and diagnostic intake assessment that helps lay the groundwork for a recovery plan tailored to your unique path.
Depending on your needs, the plan may include FDA-approved medications like methadone, Vivitrol or buprenorphine-based options such as Suboxone, Subutex or Sublocade prescribed as part of MAT. These medications ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings, granting you the clarity to address underlying emotional and psychological issues driving your opioid use via therapy.
Therapy sessions also let you practice coping skills as you develop effective sober strategies to prevent relapses. Alongside your recovery plan, skilled psychiatrists may guide you through medication management and psychotherapy to address co-occurring mental health concerns and support emotional stability. You’ll also have access to a case manager who’ll guide you in setting recovery goals and assist with housing, transportation or other personal needs.
