It is what it is, a methadone clinic. If you want to get sober it will work for you. If you don't want to get sober and want to play with methadone, we'll you'll get what's coming to you. All places have good and bad people but this program will work if you work it.

Extremely happy with this place. I will say that I used to use the Circleville clinic (which I don't recommend) but I have now been using the Chillicothe clinic for about a year. The Chillicothe clinic is the polar opposite of the circleville clinic. Nate is a fantastic counselor. The entire staff is great though. You can even get your medications from their in house pharmacy. There is also a crisis center on location 24/7. I cannot recommend this place more than I already do. I will advocate for this place. If you're looking or on the fence, trust me - this IS the right place to be.

I was a patient at Adena Counseling for over a year and they gave me a list of numbers to call to find a new doctor because they did not have the time to see me on a regular basis. I started counseling here at Scioto a month ago and have been able to get in weekly for therapy immediately! This has taken a huge weight of my shoulders as I need consistent therapy. The staff is amazing and quick to answer questions. By far the best mental health services I have personally received in Ross County!

The staff at Floyd Simantel have always gone out of their way to provide me with excellent service. I have been being treated there for almost 5 years and in that time I have been able to make great strides in creating a life worth living. Learning how to live and deal with my mental illness as well as my former substance use and abuse was not something they could do for me, I had to do the work, I had to show up, I had to be honest with myself. They helped me to learn a better way of life. Reading the other review posted here, to me, is pathetic. They are not magicians who can cure you with a wave of their hand. Rebuilding a new and better life for yourself takes work, which includes making plans and taking action, is what they have helped me to do, but I was ready and wanted what they had to offer. And I have always been treated with respect and dignity in the manner with which I have treated them. My treatment has been totally outpatient so treatment is ongoing.

Had a very good experience at detox here, no cell phones which was hard at first but I think is really for the best you have to stop and focus on yourself and your recovery. Moving onto a different program, if I didn’t have a small child I definitely would stay for phase 2, I think it’s a great place lot of good sobriety to be found here.

I'm a 32 year old army veteran that has struggled with substance abuse throughout the entirety of my adult life. I'm over 9 months clean today and actually feel I have a purpose in life again. I've been in a couple different rehabilitation programs , but if it wasn't for PARS I'd still be in a hole. They give 1 on 1 counseling which is critical as well as weekly classes depending on what you need. Andrea is my individual counselor and she does an amazing job listening, remembering and knowing how best to approach my specific situation. Michelle and Terry are also counselors and they lead classes weekly and do an awesome job and actually understand about what they're teaching which is critical for anyone struggling with this epidemic. Everyone at PARs is great!

This facility saved my daughters life and made us a family once again. I had all but given up hope of my daughter being clean and sober, and then she ended up here. Great program that is so effective! When my family came for visits we were always treated so kindly and made to feel very welcome. I can never thank them enough for what they’ve done for my daughter and what they continue to do on a daily basis for so many people that are in need of their program. 5 starts isn’t enough!!! Not a day goes by that I don't think about the time I spent at Recovery Village. I'm currently 228 days sober. The entire staff was amazing. At no time did I feel like I was in my battle alone. I would love to return and volunteer, and tell my story. As I said before. You will not find a better staff to help you. I was able to learn something from each counselor. today is August 30th 2022. I feel the need to leave a new review. this week I am moving from one state to another. top of the list for concerns; how do I continue with my MAT? how about there is a Brightview clinic less than 10 mi from my new home? another concern; how do I continue with my treatment until I can get my insurance transferred from one state to the other, how about Brightview will continue seeing me in the new state until my insurance is transferred and then they will bill them. in other words, there is absolutely no excuse to give up my sobriety because I am moving to a different state. if you have any questions or concerns the staff at every Brightview clinic have the answers! if you are really ready to leave your addiction in the past (where it belongs) moving is no excuse to let it take hold of you. love yourself, care for yourself, find a Brightview clinic and let them help you get on the road to the rest of your life. it is there for you to grab and move on. when you hear the words trust the process, you can really trust it with Brightview! i have been in so many recovery centers, and consider myself an "old timer". Nothing worked..... until BrightView! The level of care is phenomenal. From the moment I walked in I felt loved and understood, not judged. I recommend BrightView to anyone struggling with addiction. They have resources for rebuilding your life, that addiction has taken. My message to someone wanting help: go to BrightView, trust the suggestions they give you! Each and every member of the staff go above and beyond the highest of expectations! Thank you, BrightView, Wilmington, Ohio for believing in me and giving me a path to a better life!

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.
