About Moonlight Mountain Recovery Nampa

Moonlight Mountain Recovery is a tranquil refuge for individuals who are struggling with both mental health and addiction in Nampa, Idaho. They provide a comprehensive spectrum of services with levels of care that include inpatient and outpatient treatment. They also have age specific services for adolescents. They accept most private insurance plans.

The facility has a lovely peaceful mountainous setting which is conducive to healing. Surrounded by the stunning natural scenery of Idaho, it is a location that can make you feel separated from the rest of society and far removed from your regular daily bustle. This means it’s truly great for a recovering addict looking to focus on getting better.

Your care team will determine the kind of treatment that’s best-suited for your needs. If you need round the clock access to clinical support then inpatient treatment is the best place to start. Outpatient care is less intensive and allows you to go home at the end of the day.

Unlike most drug and alcohol rehab centers, not only does Moonlight Mountain Recovery focus on addressing your mental health but it approaches the cause of both addiction types at once. This includes evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or medication assisted treatment (MAT) combined with alternative therapies such as equine therapy, meditation and yoga. This combination allows for various mental, physical, and spiritual healing modalities.

Former clients talk about the dedicated staff and also say Moonlight Mountain is special because of its peaceful setting. This appears to be a balanced touch that might keep individuals grounded. Unlike other facilities, it includes aspects of spiritual tranquility and peace remedy as well.

Accepted Insurance

Moonlight Mountain Recovery Nampa works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). Some offer both, and tailor treatment to the patient's individual requirements. Linden Oaks' Residential Stay Program offers additional support for those who may benefit from a structured living environment. A patient's stay may vary from a few days to 30 days ago. The program includes group, family and individual counseling.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
12-step icon12-Step
Many recovery centers base their treatment models on 12 step programming, which emphasizes spiritual development and peer coaching. 12 step recovery is designed to help participants address the root causes of their addiction, take accountability for their choices, and let go of that over which they are powerless. Though these programs prioritize spiritual growth, religious affiliation isn't required. Participants regularly attend anonymous, free, peer-directed meetings and are mentored by a peer sponsor.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Medical detox is the process of removing addictive substances from your body in a medically supervised setting. With the aim of keeping you as safe and comfortable as possible, a team of licensed medical professionals monitors your vitals and may provide medications if needed to alleviate any withdrawal symptoms. Medically assisted detox is generally partially covered by most private insurance and insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act.

Clinical Services

Men and women in Idaho may choose a customized drug and alcohol treatment approach using individual therapy. This focuses your attention on the unique challenges in your life and helps you understand the triggers and stressors that increase your risk of drug use. You develop healthier coping strategies to promote sustainable sobriety.

Group therapy teaches participants in Idaho how to learn and practice conflict resolution skills. Within the group, you learn how to improve relationships and reduce stress. Both of these are crucial for achieving and maintaining your recovery.

During family therapy in Idaho, members have a safe space to express their feelings about the impact addiction has had on the family unit. The process helps reduce the stigma associated with mental health and enhances each member's understanding of addiction. By promoting a unified approach, family therapy helps to support the recovery journey.

Therapists who specialize in experiential therapy understand how emotional and physical responses work and can help you rewire your automatic responses. These neurobiological changes are facilitated through hands on interventions like art, music, or animal therapy.

Research has shown that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in Idaho is one of the most effective forms of therapy to treat substance use disorders and accompanying mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. The focus of this method is to learn about and change patterns of thinking and behavior.

Recreational therapy is typically included in a holistic approach to drug and alcohol addiction treatment. It integrates activities like hiking, team sports, and art to improve physical fitness, provide an emotional outlet, and improve your social connections with others. These are skills you need to rebuild your life and maintain your sobriety.

I am currently living in Moonlight Mountain Sober Living . And the house manager is complete trash. I have a lightbulb out in my closet. I went and bought some lightbulbs to fix it, but it was the wrong kind so I asked the house manager if she would buy a lightbulb and she could have the ones that I went and bought she told me to use my cell phone These high ratings are largely because they pay the clients with a free T-shirt or dinner for a five star review. Now I am not saying my experience with Moonlight has been all bad but the Sober Living is horrible. They kick people out and then let them come and pick up their belongings whenever they want to Leading to theft. I have only been here for a month and a half and this has happened at least four times when this is brought up to the house Manager she tells you that you are an adult and you need to figure it out. I’ve been in other Sober Living houses before And there are many rules that are put in place that stopped a lot of this stuff from happening. Most Sober Living houses cover toilet paper Moonlight expects whoever has a job to pay for the guys who don’t. The landscaping is left to the clients. There are at least two houses that I know of that do not have vacuums. I had to buy a mop for the house I had to buy pots and pans I had to buy cups bowls, etc. now this isn’t a huge deal or stress on me, but these things should be covered. It just shows lack of responsibility and disrespect towards the clients when they are making enough money to at least cover the bare minimum, but they don’t. There was a client that told the house manager that her roommate was threatening physical harm. She told her to just give her space keep in mind these girls both sleep in the same exact bedroom as there are two Beds per room Some rooms even have three or four. Anyways, the girl went to the house manager told her that the roommate was threatening physical harm. The house manager told her to keep her space and the next day the girl who was asking for help and protection was violently attacked. I have thought about making this post many times, but I kept pushing it off thinking well it’s not that bad making excuses after excuses because like I said, I have had some good experiences with Moonlight. But now it’s just getting ridiculous so hopefully they make some changes but for the time being if you have the opportunity to go to a different Sober Living house, I would highly recommend that.

The inpatient program is not bad. Ms Brandy the doctor is very good at what she does and really cares. They are very desperate to look good online. They tell the ask and tell the clients to post a 5 star review and they will receive a moonlight T-shirt. I personally think that is a bit ridiculous because reviews should be truthful about what the program is like and what is going on there. the sober living in Nampa off of Hawaii st is not a good sober living at all. There is no accountability there are people getting high and drinking there left and right. Most of my clothes got stolen. My medicine lockbox got broken into and $120 Worth of grow hormones and post cycle testosterone therapy supplements were stolen. They allow people there that are still getting high to live there and do nothing about it. because they want the money from Magellan, which is through the state funding Medicaid program. And they don’t even drug test people that are obviously high there. Because if they did, they would lose probably like 3/4 of the people there on the street. They packed so many people in the rooms that there is not even anywhere put your clothes or personal belongings. There was two bunkbeds I And a single bed in my room, which was a very small Bedroom . We were super crammed in It was very uncomfortable with hardly any room. Would not recommend the program or the Sober Living program if you are serious about staying clean and sober and want to have long term recovery.

The staff as a whole is exceptional and welcoming. When I arrived I couldn't bring myself to walk in the door, Kourtne noticed my struggle and came outside to ease my anxiety and give me the support and kindness that I needed to come inside. I highly recommend Moonlight Mountain, their approach at recovery allows for the freedom of still feeling like an adult while receiving the much needed support to get a new start at life.
