Meridian, ID | BHG Meridian Treatment Center is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Meridian, Idaho, specializing in medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. I keep updating my review because of the insane improvement I’ve seen around the clinic. They were decent to begin with a few years back, but have become such a fantastic resource for my life, even outside of the normal medication dosing. The counselors are great, I love mine. The dosing staff are my favorite and brighten up my day every time I see them, the front desk person is cheerful and friendly and calls to remind me of appointments and upcoming changes, the clinic director is consistent and kind and supportive. I just can’t say enough good things. If you or someone in your life is questioning whether methadone is right, I regret every day I spent in suffering because I was worried about switching addictions or the “pink handcuffs” trope. People I love would still be alive if we had just tried methadone years ago instead of trying to do it ourselves. Since I got on methadone I’ve never looked back. Never had a relapse, my family trusts me again, I haven’t broken a law, I’m an upstanding part of the community and am respected and needed at my job. I’m happy and fulfilled, and proud of the man I became, and this clinic played a major role in that. Sorry for the novel, I just want people to see there’s freedom within those doors. You just need to walk in.

What can I say, BHG saved my life. I was using IV every day & with the help of the entire team I haven't used since 1/20/25.. Almost an entire year! There isn't one member of the staff who isn't invested in my recovery. The doctors care immensely about our success & do so safely. The counselors advocate fiercely for us and the nurses provide a judgement free loving atmosphere as we stumble through the weeds of recovery.
BHG provides a safe medical setting with counseling to dose methadone. If you are tired of all the negative things that come with opioid addiction and want your life back, then what are you waiting for!? Give them a call it'll be the best decision you've made in a long time, it certainly was for me.

Meridian, ID | Zelus Recovery is an addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment organization. They have two locations, including the treatment center in Meridian, Idaho. They specialize in treating adolescents and young adults with substance use disorder (SUD), primarily individuals ages 14-24. The facility accepts insurance from most major health plans. | Treatments Payment Options | I was referred to Zelus Recovery by a friend, and I will always be grateful that I found them.
The ambulatory detox program allowed me to safely navigate alcohol withdrawal from the comfort of my own home, with twice-daily Telehealth monitoring and personalized support. I was surprised by how much individual attention I received and, in some ways, felt more personally supported than I had experienced in an inpatient setting.
Following detox, I continued with the intensive outpatient program three days a week. What sets Zelus apart is their individualized approach. Rather than spending hours in repetitive educational sessions, each day began with a personal check-in, and the focus of treatment was guided by the needs identified that day. This allowed me to address the issues that were most relevant to me, while developing meaningful coping strategies, identifying triggers, and understanding the patterns that can lead to relapse.
Most importantly, I learned how to recognize the early warning signs that I was entering a vulnerable place and what I could do to interrupt that cycle before it led to drinking. These are tools and insights that I will carry with me long after completing treatment.
I am deeply grateful for my experience at Zelus Recovery and for the compassionate, individualized care I received. I am especially thankful to Jeremy for his personal coaching and support during detox. His guidance helped make an incredibly difficult experience feel manageable.
Zelus gave me more than treatment—they gave me practical tools, greater self-awareness, and confidence in my ability to move forward. I am truly grateful for the role they played in my recovery.

Being in a mental facility is a weird experience no matter how it goes for you. But the care I received at this hospital stopped my postpartum hallucinations. My assigned doctor, Dr. Crum, was very kind to me, listened to what I was saying, and got me on the right path with medications. I could not be more grateful for how this has changed my trajectory, and neither could my family.
That being said, my minor complaints are:
1. It was somehow missed that I had an allergy for the first couple of days I was there, and I hadn't been inpatient before, so I didn't know what to do about it. At some point I told the med nurse I was dizzy and thought maybe my blood sugar was low as I hadn't had a proper meal in a minute, and she was flabbergasted. It DID get sorted.
2. Some of the techs were worse than others. Most were pleasant. In particular there was one that was constantly on her phone while she was sitting there watching us in the recreational area. One of the other patients called her out like "hey, if we can't have ours, why do you have yours out?" and she then responded with something along the lines of "you need to get better" in a snarky tone. I know the reality is that you aren't allowed your phone as a patient, but when we're all bored out of our minds (and mild to moderately unhinged), you shouldn't be over against the wall, absorbed, when your job is to be watching us. And the audacity to tell us to "get better" in that tone when we're in inpatient care? My jaw was dropped.
3. The stress of meeting with financial people about how you're going to put a large sum of money down in the next day or two with no access to say, your bank accounts, was unnecessary. Beyond that, the financial lady I had was honestly an experience. When I told her that amount of money just wasn't possible, I got told they'd charge me interest if I didn't pay it. I asked her how much interest, because if I put it on my credit card it's at 30%, so maybe it'd be cheaper to let it sit and accrue interest there instead of trying to pay it off immediately with my emergency account. My credit limit wasn't high enough anyways. She didn't have a number for me and got frustrated with my thought process. She kept re-iterating that I need to pay x amount when I leave. I kept telling her that I did not have that amount of money in my account to give her. She eventually lectured me about how it would go to collections. Okay, fair enough.
The next day (maybe two days later?) we went through the same thing, then she asked me if I could call anybody and see about borrowing the money, *if* I truly had no other way to pay it. It was like she was insinuating that I did have the money? It was all very high pressure. I stepped out to get a phone and call my spouse to discuss our options. I took the call in the hallway and not in our little room to avoid her staring me down while I ran through a list of hypotheticals. When I came back to the room she seemed surprised. Then I informed her that I still didn't have any new options and she again became frustrated and lectured me about collections. Maybe I handled it poorly, but at that point I was like "cool, sounds like that's our plan, send me to collections then, see you later."
To have more meetings with the financial people than you do with some others on your care team sends an interesting message, and to have the payment deadline be at the time of release is insanity in my opinion. Please consider making the deadline a few days or a week out from release. "Ideally, we'd like payment when you make your exit from the facility, but you can come back any time in the next three days to make that payment with no penalties. This gives you a chance to make arrangements when you have access to full resources." This would alleviate patient stress during what is already a time of crisis.

I’ve read a few of the reviews and they sadden me. No one deserves to receive sub par medical care, especially when it involves mental health challenges. That being said, my experience has been positive and beneficial! Yes, I’ve had problems with being “on-time” and I was appropriately reprimanded but, generally speaking, I, at this time, have no complaints! If you are looking for a faith-based therapist but, will not push her religious beliefs, Gina is a very competent and knowledgeable LCSW and I highly recommend her for treatment of PTSD/Trauma related disorders! The Boise location is has a nice a welcoming atmosphere and the office manager is a rock star! She even offers treats as you check in (but, don’t take a handful and leave the candy dish empty).
Overall, I am pleased with the care I receive at Midvalley Healthcare.

It's hard to but together just what to say to accurately describe just how great Brick house is. If you are really looking to be done with the life that the drug world creates, then this is where you need to go. It is not like any other treatment programs. It's structured in just the right way to help you begin to see yourself differently, and the staff support is like any other. They genuinely care about every single person that comes through. You begin as strangers but leave with a whole new group of REAL friends. This environment has been curated and it shows the heart of the owner Jason who isn't just a CEO in an office somewhere, but comes through all the time, building relationships with not just the staff, but clients too. I can not say enough good things, but I will say this. I was homeless on the streets of Spokane with nothing left but a long term addiction to Fentanyl and Meth. Brickhouse has changed my life and that of my families too. All it takes is the willingness to listen when you get there, and keep going back. If your looking for help, I hope you find it here too.

It has taken me a while to write this review, but there isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful for this place and its incredible staff.
Before coming here, I was struggling with severe alcoholism. It had reached the point where I could barely function without alcohol, and even with it, I was barely getting by. I was losing everything—my husband, my job, my family, and my closest friends.
Making the decision to go to detox was one of the scariest choices I've ever made, but it was also one of the best. Allumbaugh House took me in and changed my life forever.
This was my first experience in a treatment program, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They supported me through every step of my stay with compassion, kindness, and encouragement. Thank you to every staff member who helped me during that difficult time.
I was released on September 16, 2025, and I have been sober ever since. I can never fully express how grateful I am. Thank you for helping save my life. You were the answer to a very loud prayer.

After a terrible experience with another provider here in Boise who nuked his practice and got arrested, 988 hooked me up with Access Behavioral Health, who moved heaven & earth to get me in for an appointment with a prescribing physician inside of 3 business days.
Every appointment with Susan/every interaction with the rest of the team at Access has been next-level fantastic. Their systems are great, their people are the best, and they have an excellent in-house pharmacy, to boot.
Can’t say enough great stuff about these guys!

I love Paige, Wendy, and Cara. I feel comfortable and safe being myself and being able to not feel judged in anyway for anything that I share with them. They were and will always be one of my safe places no matter what. They have helped me overcome and for that I will always have so much love and appreciation for them and all they do.

So it's been over 7 years since I quit drinking alcohol. It was the worst addiction and problem I faced and my family and friends knew I needed help. I've been here a few times,it wasn't till I wanted to quit totally and get help here. This place saved my life. It's not a vacation, it's very strict for the patient and staff. My program was New Start and thank God I came here. When you're completely read to quit drugs and alcohol, please come here and give the program a chance. It isn't easy but with God and this place, you can really beat any addiction. I don't know if Tiffany and her mother Carla still work here, but special thanks to them. They always kept it real with me and I'm so thankful for their help💯

The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Meridian. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Meridian that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Meridian.

Meridian has the 1st highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below.
