A close friend of ours had to check in the behavior unit. The staff was relatively good. However the social worker made a hard experience, miserable. It is people like him is a big reason why we a problem today. They are there to be advocates. My friend wants to make changes and was asking questions and self advocating. This social worker literally left him at the Village at Meridian. I understand working in the mental health world is hard and he has probably seen 1000’s people like my friend but this is beyond the pale of acceptable. If you cannot continue to advocate for those that need love and help to be put in the right situation you should not be there.

Except for the religious remarks Dr Banta "at least i had thought" had a really respectable professional relationship. After the closing of his practice in payette "id h&w" i expressed to him my worries about no longer having him as a doctor there he mentioned and vouged for me too attend his caldwell office even tho at the time i was moving to mccall. 3 or more years had past seeing him at his caldwell office they told me he could no longer take me as a client because I had missed to many appointments i had missed an appointment, made it to the next one, and missed the following one... And i suppose adding those 2 plus the appointments i had missed in stretched past 9 years would constitute as to many. But i figured he would look past that part because it seemed like we were friends or at least he made it seem like he really cared. but in reality i guess they didn't because for a comparison when if i ever missed a mental health appointment in oregon i had my doctors calling me and showing up at my house to see if im ok.. they were genuinely concerned as for this doctor if you can make an appointment because your father died then you get kicked out. As for the staff i always felt as if i was some sort of problem child like everything i would ask for something simple would be completely out of there way and was a hard task for them.

There was a time in my 26-year community partnership with Lifeways when I wasn't the biggest fan. I can honestly say there has been a significant shift. From more services, more accessible community friendly leadership. Thoughtful and compassionate employees. If you have hesitated in the past because of past experiences or concerns, I would recommend giving them another shot. You may be pleasantly surprised.

i’m not sure why this place has bad reviews. from my pov i have a wonderful therapist who i enjoy talking to. there are a few rotten eggs within the system, but all i had to do was call and asked to be switched to a different person. this place has saved my life and i’m so grateful for it. 🩷

It was a bit intimidating at first, but everyone was welcoming and helpful (shout out to Ramana!) and with in a day or two I felt very comfortable. This was a tough but wonderful experience. NP Ashwood helped me transition from inpatient therapy to out and about in my daily life. I completed 28 days of PHP and then combined 12 weeks of IOP with going back to work. I have learned countless ways to cope, what my triggers are, how to be mindful in my daily life, and how to reroute when I catch myself in old habits. I highly recommend Ashwood to anyone who is leaving inpatient therapy or anyone who has a desire to change their life from the inside out. I have the longest sobriety time I’ve ever had and thanks to Ashwood and its alumni program, that time will keep adding up. Thank you Ashwood counselors and staff. You were my calm during the storm!

Eagle Creek was truly a lifeline for our family. From my very first phone call, I could tell this was a place that was different.
During an incredibly emotional and uncertain time, Luke, one of the owners, answered the phone himself. His kindness, patience, and genuine concern immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed.
Luke connected me with Jeff, who showed the same level of compassion and sincerity. He was the first person throughout this entire process who paused to ask how I was doing, a simple question that meant so much during such a difficult time. That genuine care stayed with me.
Getting my husband into Eagle Creek turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. The team there is exceptional in every sense of the word. I had the privilege of meeting several staff members, especially Arthur, Mel, and Matt, who went above and beyond to offer support, reassurance, and kindness.
Every person I encountered radiated warmth and a true desire to help people heal. I was deeply impressed by how purposeful every part of Eagle Creek’s program is. The therapies, counseling, and activities are all designed to help clients understand the roots of their addiction, grow personally, and develop the tools needed for lasting recovery. When you are ready for recovery, I highly recommend Northpoint. From the moment I walked in, the staff members were kind, professional, and helpful during one of the most difficult times in my life.
Everything about the facility was comfortable. It was not what I expected to say the least. I was treated with respect. I wasn't locked up in a hole. The environment made recovery attainable without making me feel miserable.
Because of the welcoming environment, the other community members were equally as pleasant. You get a sense of community in your recovery that lasts past your graduation date.
You will be exposed to tools, coping skills, techniques, etc. to assist you during your recovery. Before you leave, they make certain that you have a solid release plan and options for aftercare.
If you are at a loss for ways to put down addiction, definitely consider the inpatient program at Northpoint. I finally have confidence in a new life for myself.

I have zero complaints. Never have I seen a staff so attentive and care for the residents, who are probably having their worst time ever. They are patient, persistent and always available for a shoulder to cry on. I am so very lucky I found NorthPoint in Boise, my hometown. I Would give a strong 10 referral to anyone who I know needing a safe place to process an addiction. I am better for it.

I recently completed my treatment with Moonlight Mountain Recovery. I am very thankful for my experience there. I was at the Logan house in Caldwell. The house is beautiful and well maintained with everyone doing their part to keep it clean and a healthy environment to practice early recovery. My absolute favorite part was our group counselor Heather! Having had many treatment counselors in the past, I must say she is one the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I have ever seen in this field. She brings a very unique and personal perspective that is amazing! She actually cares for addicts wholeheartedly and it definitely shows every day. I started at raise the bottom about a month ago & I'm super lucky I had Amanda doing my intake. She made sure I did not feel one bit uncomfortable from the moment I walked through the door that morning. The way we connected was perfect, she made it so easy for me to come forward and be honest about my addiction, and that is never easy! Also my counselor Stephanie is amazing! I can open up to her and talk to her about anything and she always knows what to say. When i came in 2 different times for my assesment with Stephanie & Orientation with Amanda, they both offered me coffee before the appointments and let me make myself some! Just always so welcoming and i love that because as an addict going into places like that its hard because we're basically going in asking for help and thats never easy for someone going through an addiction. Dosing nurses! Those ladies do a great job. The hardest thing is getting stable on a dose while detoxing off a drug like fentynal. The way they care and walk you thru what to do while going through the symptoms is so touching. Ive never felt anyone care that much that i was in pain then my mother. I can say that if it wasn't for the staff at raise the bottom. I would not be off fentynal, and I wouldn't be wanting to go in everyday and dose..But I do because of them, because they made it to where I was comfortable to go in. Comfortable to be honest and open with them.

First off I have to thank Jason Coombs, the owner of Brick House. A good friend of mine that went through this program set up a time to meet with him. Assuming the busy man that he is, he took time out of his day to meet me and hear my story. He is genuine, authentic, and truly cared about me and my recovery to sobriety. Both him and Archie were there with me through my initial detox. Through text and phone calls they were there with me every step of the way and luckily they were able to get me into the program very shortly after. Having this be my first treatment center I can honestly say that God put me here for a reason. Having first and foremost it being a faith base treatment center. It has reestablised my relationship with my higher power in such a way that has been infectious not only to me, but also to those around me. The curriculum and knowledge that the coaches, counselors, and staff have, has monumental in my strides towards my life long recovery. The program has been thought out in such a methodical and purposeful way. Not only for the people in treatment, but for their families too. They have programs set up for them to have a better understanding and gain on addiction. Everyone at Brick house recovery truly cares about every single person in treatment. Being an addict for 27 years. This is the first time I’ve been completely sober in 35 days. Yes I’m still early into my recovery, but I can honestly say that I could not have done this without this program. The physical part is one thing, but when you start digging into your emotional sobriety, that’s when the true work begins, and every person that works at Brick house knows what it takes to help you succeed. I’m gaining so much from this program and I’m learning so much about myself. More than I ever could have thought. Top notch care to the fullest!!

Brickhouse has been absolutely incredible. I've been going through the roughest time of my life for these past few years, and Brickhouse has really helped me see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The counsellors are amazing and so are all the people. It's filled with a bunch of people trying to better themselves and it's easy to relate to so many people and their experiences. I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone at Brickhouse!

Whatever your view of detox centers, drug addiction or mental health, I would be remiss if i didn't thank the staff at Allumbaugh House for being a contributing factor in my survival. The specifics aren't important, except for the staff truly does care. Although I have been back several times, they truly do what they can to assist you in not only detox, but resources to continue sobriety upon leaving. Too many names to mention, but you all are saints.

I’m sadly a frequent flyer for detox centers, I’ve probably been to about 10, both in and outside of the Ada County area. This is the best detox center I’ve ever been to. The staff is kind and doesn’t judge you. This is a great safe place to detox and the case workers will work with you for next steps. They’ve saved my life and changed it.

I would suggest intermountain hospital for detox/ for inpatient substance and mental health treatment it was a fantastic experience for someone who's .
. never been in detox before I would strongly advise people to go to this because Its actually someplace where you can feel safe you can get detox meds and medication that is long term and if wanted IOP is a option the staff and Drs are compassionate and you can feel heard and on top of that you get three free meals a bed that's kind of comfy and as long as you follow the no string rule or no alcohol in your products you'll get your property while your there. And I was. So greatful that we had breaks to smoke often but if you are a smoker make sure you bring unopened packs, but for a first time never been through detox before it was a wonderful experience!

I’ve been receiving Spravato treatments at this office and truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive every step of the way. They make a process that can feel overwhelming feel safe, calm, and actually hopeful.
One of my absolute favorite parts of coming here is the therapy dogs. They are amazing—so sweet, comforting, and intuitive. They make the sessions feel less clinical and more like a place of healing. It’s impossible not to feel calmer and more grounded when they come in to say hi. I’m genuinely grateful for every person (and furry friend!) who’s been part of that journey.

I haven’t found such an all inclusive facility with amazing, kinds Drs, pharmacists and medical assistants. Theirs is the from desk and she is the best. I see Dr Deppo as my primary care Dr, my psychiatrist and miscellaneous things but they also have their own pharmacy in the building called GEONA it’s one stop, but I’d like to enforce that. It’s the quality of care and the kindness you receive at Summit also known as Acacia give it a try

This is by far the best counseling office I have ever attended. Tom is the perfect counselor for me, after so many years of failing to connect with one. If you can, get Tom. Such a genuine and passionate person when it comes to therapy. He somehow always has the most perfectly accurate responses to and analyzation of what you are trying to say A+++
Also, the receptionist are so sweet and I believe I am accurate in assuming the other therapist here are amazing as well.

This is only my second counseling appointment, but I have been to at least 30 counselors. I've been to art and sand play therapy, I have been to swing therapy, cognitive therapy, PSR workers, and psychiatrists. But I must say that Tabitha is the most incredible counselor I have ever met. Hands down... The balancing of listening and explaining is perfect. I've never felt hope for My future self like I do now. Thank you so much! <3

I enrolled my daughter here a few months ago. It is located in a beautiful location in the mountains w a nice river that flows by it. The facilities are nice and it is well run. Had a good staff to child ratio. The staff are caring and nice and the program is very well thought out. The counselor she has is very good and they are teaching valuable skills. My daughter seems to like it there and we couldn’t be happier.

I attended Patch for 6 months and it really changed my life! The staff at Patch are very caring and they work hard to make sure that the mistakes and issues you have had and done in the past do not define who you can become! They do test you and push your buttons sometimes, but it helps you to not have thin skin when somebody tries to push your buttons to annoy you. The DBT skills I learned there have helped me to deal with things now in a better way, rather than just lying or getting into useless arguments about things that end up not even mattering within a few minutes. The food at Patch was great, they supplied healthy food that got us through the day, and they made sure that it was made with love! I am now a senior in high-school and captain of my JV basketball team! I still today keep in touch with the Patch staff by calling the boys dorm and whenever I feel like I need to vent or just tell them about my day, they are always there to answer and listen!

Very disappointed in this place if you're grieving and going through a hard wouldn't go here because you will just have to constantly wait weeks on end and then be rescheduled again for weeks on end my daughter is only nine and she's lost a lot of people in her short little life and she just wanted to see someone but they just keep rescheduling her heart breaking if I can get this place a zero star I would

I was court ordered to attend groups here and was not happy at first. I graduate next week and this program has changed my life forever. I can't be thankful enough for the genuine care and compassion I received by all involved. Had I known this type of help existed, I would have signed up years ago. But I believe things happened how they did for a reason. If you need real help, and you're ready for real change, please give Ascent a chance. They will go above and beyond. It's almost unbelievable.
