i’m not sure why this place has bad reviews. from my pov i have a wonderful therapist who i enjoy talking to. there are a few rotten eggs within the system, but all i had to do was call and asked to be switched to a different person. this place has saved my life and i’m so grateful for it. 🩷

It was a bit intimidating at first, but everyone was welcoming and helpful (shout out to Ramana!) and with in a day or two I felt very comfortable. This was a tough but wonderful experience. I graduated December 11th, 2025 and I can truly say I miss going to group meetingst. I met a lot of great, wonderful and strong people within my journey at Northpoint and Ashwood. God bless!

NP Ashwood helped me transition from inpatient therapy to out and about in my daily life. I completed 28 days of PHP and then combined 12 weeks of IOP with going back to work. I have learned countless ways to cope, what my triggers are, how to be mindful in my daily life, and how to reroute when I catch myself in old habits. I highly recommend Ashwood to anyone who is leaving inpatient therapy or anyone who has a desire to change their life from the inside out. I have the longest sobriety time I’ve ever had and thanks to Ashwood and its alumni program, that time will keep adding up. Thank you Ashwood counselors and staff. You were my calm during the storm!

Eagle Creek was truly a lifeline for our family. From my very first phone call, I could tell this was a place that was different.
During an incredibly emotional and uncertain time, Luke, one of the owners, answered the phone himself. His kindness, patience, and genuine concern immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed.
Luke connected me with Jeff, who showed the same level of compassion and sincerity. He was the first person throughout this entire process who paused to ask how I was doing, a simple question that meant so much during such a difficult time. That genuine care stayed with me.
Getting my husband into Eagle Creek turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. The team there is exceptional in every sense of the word. I had the privilege of meeting several staff members, especially Arthur, Mel, and Matt, who went above and beyond to offer support, reassurance, and kindness.
Every person I encountered radiated warmth and a true desire to help people heal. I was deeply impressed by how purposeful every part of Eagle Creek’s program is. When you are ready for recovery, I highly recommend Northpoint. From the moment I walked in, the staff members were kind, professional, and helpful during one of the most difficult times in my life.
Everything about the facility was comfortable. It was not what I expected to say the least. I was treated with respect. I wasn't locked up in a hole. The environment made recovery attainable without making me feel miserable.
Because of the welcoming environment, the other community members were equally as pleasant. You get a sense of community in your recovery that lasts past your graduation date.
You will be exposed to tools, coping skills, techniques, etc. to assist you during your recovery. Before you leave, they make certain that you have a solid release plan and options for aftercare.
If you are at a loss for ways to put down addiction, definitely consider the inpatient program at Northpoint. I finally have confidence in a new life for myself.

I have zero complaints. Never have I seen a staff so attentive and care for the residents, who are probably having their worst time ever. They are patient, persistent and always available for a shoulder to cry on. I am so very lucky I found NorthPoint in Boise, my hometown. I Would give a strong 10 referral to anyone who I know needing a safe place to process an addiction. I am better for it.

I recently completed my treatment with Moonlight Mountain Recovery. I am very thankful for my experience there. I was at the Logan house in Caldwell. The house is beautiful and well maintained with everyone doing their part to keep it clean and a healthy environment to practice early recovery. My absolute favorite part was our group counselor Heather! Having had many treatment counselors in the past, I must say she is one the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I have ever seen in this field. She brings a very unique and personal perspective that is amazing! She actually cares for addicts wholeheartedly and it definitely shows every day. I learned a lot about my recovery and nutrition from her that I will take with me forever. I am truly grateful and blessed to have had her in class.

I was here at moonlight for 30 days and everyone here is really amazing they are all super kind and cool. They all supported me the time i was here and gave quite a bit of attention to my mental health side of things. This is a great place to go if ur trying to get sober.
Everyone here is so kind and supportive. It’s been a pleasure getting to know the staff. David is the best counselor anyone could ask for, he’s real, he’s relatable and he sees you for who you are; not what you were. Vickie is such a great teacher as well. She welcomes everyone in with open arms and is the kindest lady you’ll ever meet.

I started at raise the bottom about a month ago & I'm super lucky I had Amanda doing my intake. She made sure I did not feel one bit uncomfortable from the moment I walked through the door that morning. The way we connected was perfect, she made it so easy for me to come forward and be honest about my addiction, and that is never easy! Also my counselor Stephanie is amazing! I can open up to her and talk to her about anything and she always knows what to say. When i came in 2 different times for my assesment with Stephanie & Orientation with Amanda, they both offered me coffee before the appointments and let me make myself some! Just always so welcoming and i love that because as an addict going into places like that its hard because we're basically going in asking for help and thats never easy for someone going through an addiction. Dosing nurses! Those ladies do a great job. The hardest thing is getting stable on a dose while detoxing off a drug like fentynal. The way they care and walk you thru what to do while going through the symptoms is so touching. Ive never felt anyone care that much that i was in pain then my mother. I can say that if it wasn't for the staff at raise the bottom. I would not be off fentynal, and I wouldn't be wanting to go in everyday and dose..But I do because of them, because they made it to where I was comfortable to go in. Comfortable to be honest and open with them.

First off I have to thank Jason Coombs, the owner of Brick House. A good friend of mine that went through this program set up a time to meet with him. Assuming the busy man that he is, he took time out of his day to meet me and hear my story. He is genuine, authentic, and truly cared about me and my recovery to sobriety. Both him and Archie were there with me through my initial detox. Through text and phone calls they were there with me every step of the way and luckily they were able to get me into the program very shortly after. Having this be my first treatment center I can honestly say that God put me here for a reason. Having first and foremost it being a faith base treatment center. It has reestablised my relationship with my higher power in such a way that has been infectious not only to me, but also to those around me. The curriculum and knowledge that the coaches, counselors, and staff have, has monumental in my strides towards my life long recovery. The program has been thought out in such a methodical and purposeful way. Not only for the people in treatment, but for their families too. They have programs set up for them to have a better understanding and gain on addiction. Everyone at Brick house recovery truly cares about every single person in treatment. Being an addict for 27 years. This is the first time I’ve been completely sober in 35 days. Yes I’m still early into my recovery, but I can honestly say that I could not have done this without this program. The physical part is one thing, but when you start digging into your emotional sobriety, that’s when the true work begins, and every person that works at Brick house knows what it takes to help you succeed. I’m gaining so much from this program and I’m learning so much about myself. More than I ever could have thought. Top notch care to the fullest!!

Brickhouse has been absolutely incredible. I've been going through the roughest time of my life for these past few years, and Brickhouse has really helped me see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The counsellors are amazing and so are all the people. It's filled with a bunch of people trying to better themselves and it's easy to relate to so many people and their experiences. I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone at Brickhouse!
This place is great, so thankful they are in Caldwell and they are so great with my husbands health and so wonderful.!

Personally I’ve been going to Trivium through my struggles and even after! They are beyond awesome! The care team and everyone who works here is amazing! Open minded people very understanding and they work with you and your schedule! (As long as you communicate with them) I always enjoy coming in for class it’s always insightful.

Whatever your view of detox centers, drug addiction or mental health, I would be remiss if i didn't thank the staff at Allumbaugh House for being a contributing factor in my survival. The specifics aren't important, except for the staff truly does care. Although I have been back several times, they truly do what they can to assist you in not only detox, but resources to continue sobriety upon leaving. Too many names to mention, but you all are saints.

I’m sadly a frequent flyer for detox centers, I’ve probably been to about 10, both in and outside of the Ada County area. This is the best detox center I’ve ever been to. The staff is kind and doesn’t judge you. This is a great safe place to detox and the case workers will work with you for next steps. They’ve saved my life and changed it.
After a terrible experience with another provider here in Boise who nuked his practice and got arrested, 988 hooked me up with Access Behavioral Health, who moved heaven & earth to get me in for an appointment with a prescribing physician inside of 3 business days.
Every appointment with Susan/every interaction with the rest of the team at Access has been next-level fantastic. Their systems are great, their people are the best, and they have an excellent in-house pharmacy, to boot.
Can’t say enough great stuff about these guys!

I sent A lot of of my life after abusive situations with therapists who never really took the time to understand me. They made me feel like oh we’ve had these sessions in your healed and convinced me that I was. I walked around for a long time thinking I was well adjusted before I found Carter. He has helped me in ways that no one else has and is painful as it is to drag this stuff up he is touching on things that make me feel like he really understands me and is going to be a huge help. On top of that, the doctor helping me with my meds Julie is wonderful. She treats me with so much respect. Everyone in the office does I will never leave these two. It is really hard for me to trust and break down my walls and they have been helping me do just that. And I can never repay them for that. Thank you, Carter , Julie, and everyone else at the access behavioral team.

Been goin here for years, since they were Center for Behavioral Health. Staff has always been nice and professional. The director, Alisha, has been great in accommodating my issues. The Doc is friendly and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. I have NO complaints about the facility or staff.

What can I say, BHG saved my life. I was using IV every day & with the help of the entire team I haven't used since 1/20/25.. Almost an entire year! There isn't one member of the staff who isn't invested in my recovery. The doctors care immensely about our success & do so safely. The counselors advocate fiercely for us and the nurses provide a judgement free loving atmosphere as we stumble through the weeds of recovery.
BHG provides a safe medical setting with counseling to dose methadone. If you are tired of all the negative things that come with opioid addiction and want your life back, then what are you waiting for!? Give them a call it'll be the best decision you've made in a long time, it certainly was for me.

I've been going for four months now and their fantastic. If no one is there I can be in and out in less than a min. We all chit chat bc we all like them but that's if we don't hold anyone up.
Their clean, not to busy and great.
My counselor is very nice but tends to be a bit overbearing and such but it's bc she cares. If you truly want to get sober they'll help. They'll try and help you make good choices. If you just need it to keep from getting sick if you run out they'll keep you well enough.
It works I'm clean. There's days but it works better than anything else.
Extremely kind and patient people! Everyone here was always super welcoming and lighthearted. The classes were genuinely helpful and everyone was incredibly supportive and made the process entirely painless. Very quickly made some wonderful friends that have made a huge impact in my life.

Peak has been my rock for some time so far best mental health facility I've ever had:) everyone is welcoming with open arms always happy to help in anyway they can!! I would strongly recommend anyone who needs any form of help to go to peak.
I would suggest intermountain hospital for detox/ for inpatient substance and mental health treatment it was a fantastic experience for someone who's .
. never been in detox before I would strongly advise people to go to this because Its actually someplace where you can feel safe you can get detox meds and medication that is long term and if wanted IOP is a option the staff and Drs are compassionate and you can feel heard and on top of that you get three free meals a bed that's kind of comfy and as long as you follow the no string rule or no alcohol in your products you'll get your property while your there. And I was. So greatful that we had breaks to smoke often but if you are a smoker make sure you bring unopened packs, but for a first time never been through detox before it was a wonderful experience!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Deo Peppersack for over 20 years, and the level of care she provides is truly exceptional. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in her patients’ overall well-being. Dr. Peppersack always takes the time to listen, understand, and treat the whole person—not just the symptoms.
One of the most special parts of her practice is the presence of her gentle, well-trained therapy dogs. For more than two decades, they’ve created a calming, comforting atmosphere that benefits me and so many other patients. Their peaceful energy makes every visit feel welcoming, safe, and healing.

I’ve been receiving Spravato treatments at this office and truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive every step of the way. They make a process that can feel overwhelming feel safe, calm, and actually hopeful.
One of my absolute favorite parts of coming here is the therapy dogs. They are amazing—so sweet, comforting, and intuitive. They make the sessions feel less clinical and more like a place of healing. It’s impossible not to feel calmer and more grounded when they come in to say hi. I’m genuinely grateful for every person (and furry friend!) who’s been part of that journey.

I haven’t found such an all inclusive facility with amazing, kinds Drs, pharmacists and medical assistants. Theirs is the from desk and she is the best. I see Dr Deppo as my primary care Dr, my psychiatrist and miscellaneous things but they also have their own pharmacy in the building called GEONA it’s one stop, but I’d like to enforce that. It’s the quality of care and the kindness you receive at Summit also known as Acacia give it a try
St Alphonsus behavioral health has been a godsend for me. I have been a OCD patient since 2014. When I first started requesting OCD medicine at St Lukes, I was referred to sage health care. What I did not know at the time is St Lukes behavioral health is based in Twin Falls and St. Alphonsus behavioral health is based in Boise. At sage health care I started with a nurse practitioner who later retired and then I upgrade to a Physician assistant who left the practice and moved. In 2024 after 10 years at Sage Health care I decided if they were short on providers and realizing I drive by the St Alphonsus behavioral health In patient office, I would try to transfer to St Alphonsus behavioral health out patient. At St. Alphonsus instead of getting a Nurse practitioner or Physician assistant I started seeing a Physiatrist. I am very pleased with the treatment at St. Alphonsus and I would definitely recommend their behavioral health and Dr. Ken Squires to anyone needing treatment for mood disorders.

I was court ordered to attend groups here and was not happy at first. I graduate next week and this program has changed my life forever. I can't be thankful enough for the genuine care and compassion I received by all involved. Had I known this type of help existed, I would have signed up years ago. But I believe things happened how they did for a reason. If you need real help, and you're ready for real change, please give Ascent a chance. They will go above and beyond. It's almost unbelievable. Like recovery, with sober living you will get out of it whatever you are willing to put into it. I have been living in one of Rising Sun's houses for almost 5 months now and will probably be here for quite a while longer as I rebuild my life.
What Rising Sun offers is a clean, safe environment with A LOT of Freedom. They do not mandate how any of us live our lives. As long as we stay sober and follow the few simple rules of the house. It is very simple. The house is in good condition. Nothing is extravagant but very comfortable. Also the cost is low.
After 2 months here I actually moved to a different sober living house for about 2 hours ... seriously. And realized that I had made a HUGE mistake and came back before the afternoon was over. I have found that if I changed, instead expecting others to change, that life became easier.
Also I came into the house asking for them to accept an accommodation that was very important to me. I called sober living houses from Florida to Oregon and I am grateful that they were willing to try when other organizations were not. Big shout out to Jennifer, Craig, Joe, and Austin for everything they do here.
Just remember, the more you are willing to do in sober living, recovery, and in life... the more you will get out of it.

They focus on client care and helping our community! Everyone is welcoming, accepting, and supportive of people who need assistance with daily living. Highly recommend getting services and working for ABM.
I have been with them for counseling for two year and med management for almost a year. I absolutely love them! Their providers have always been kind, respectful, and clear while talking with me. Any problems I've had with them, they fixed them quickly. Their receptionists are wonderful and kind as well. Everyone I've worked with is so compassionate and it's clear they want to help me to feel better. I'd give them more stars if I could 😁
