There was a time in my 26-year community partnership with Lifeways when I wasn't the biggest fan. I can honestly say there has been a significant shift. From more services, more accessible community friendly leadership. Thoughtful and compassionate employees. If you have hesitated in the past because of past experiences or concerns, I would recommend giving them another shot. You may be pleasantly surprised.

i’m not sure why this place has bad reviews. from my pov i have a wonderful therapist who i enjoy talking to. there are a few rotten eggs within the system, but all i had to do was call and asked to be switched to a different person. this place has saved my life and i’m so grateful for it. 🩷

I have been going to Lifeways for five years now and they have helped me so much! Maggie is the nurse there but she also sees clients out in the community. She is absolutely wonderful! She has been so helpful to me and extremely supportive. And she is the nicest woman. I just love her! She is always on time and she is always very friendly and she has taught me so many things and she has encouraged me in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very compassionate caring woman that helps with all kinds of things. And I want to thank her so much for being there for me all these years! Eagle Creek was truly a lifeline for our family. From my very first phone call, I could tell this was a place that was different. During an incredibly emotional and uncertain time, Luke, one of the owners, answered the phone himself. His kindness, patience, and genuine concern immediately put me at ease. He took the time to listen and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. Luke connected me with Jeff, who showed the same level of compassion and sincerity. He was the first person throughout this entire process who paused to ask how I was doing, a simple question that meant so much during such a difficult time. That genuine care stayed with me. Getting my husband into Eagle Creek turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. The team there is exceptional in every sense of the word. I had the privilege of meeting several staff members, especially Arthur, Mel, and Matt, who went above and beyond to offer support, reassurance, and kindness. Every person I encountered radiated warmth and a true desire to help people heal. I was deeply impressed by how purposeful every part of Eagle Creek’s program is. The therapies, counseling, and activities are all designed to help clients understand the roots of their addiction, grow personally, and develop the tools needed for lasting recovery. Their approach is clearly effective and equips clients to leave ready to maintain sobriety and build a fulfilling life. Because of Eagle Creek’s remarkable program and compassionate staff, my husband has truly transformed for the better. It is clear that everyone there is deeply committed to helping people recover, not because it is their job, but because they genuinely care. I will forever be grateful to the entire Eagle Creek team for their compassion, dedication, and humanity. They gave my husband and our family hope, healing, and a fresh start.

I recently completed my treatment with Moonlight Mountain Recovery. I am very thankful for my experience there. I was at the Logan house in Caldwell. The house is beautiful and well maintained with everyone doing their part to keep it clean and a healthy environment to practice early recovery. My absolute favorite part was our group counselor Heather! Having had many treatment counselors in the past, I must say she is one the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I have ever seen in this field. She brings a very unique and personal perspective that is amazing! She actually cares for addicts wholeheartedly and it definitely shows every day. I learned a lot about my recovery and nutrition from her that I will take with me forever. I am truly grateful and blessed to have had her in class.

Stephanie has been my counselor since day one. Not only has she been professional and ethical, but I also feel like I have a friend in her. I needed the exact kind of person she is from the moment I walked through that door and signed up. The nursing staff and front desk girls have been amazing since day one as well! I feel heard, understood and not judged. The quick replies and guidance are what has brought me this far in life. I was lost and deep in my addiction with no idea what to do when a close friend of mine got a hold of his childhood friend who worked there and he got me into the program. This program changed my life, helped me to get sober, taught me about emotional sobriety, got me on the medication I needed, and gave me the support I needed to begin reconstructing myself and the life I had given away to drugs and alcohol. I've been to two other outpatient programs and Brickhouse, Owner Jason Coombs, the Staff, and my peers made the Boise location a home for me when I didn't have one. Im glad I chose Brickhouse Recovery, and they were able to chose me when others wouldn't. It too me 2 weeks to get in, during that time staff checked in with me with encouragement. My counselor, recovery coach, all Brickhouse staff, my peers are all exceptional people. Im nearing the end of stage1 and the Treatment has been beneficial to say the least. Sometimes it's difficult, but if it wasnt it wouldn't be worth it. Because of this program ive reconnected with my spirituality. What more could you ask for? In group it was discussed that Brickhouse staff should get a raise. Our HIGHER POWERS agreed. WELL DONE. If there were stars I would give them more. SUPERSTAR!

I called BrickHouse after a facility stay to ask about IOP, but my work schedule didn’t allow it at the time. Ms. Bea, who answered, was incredibly compassionate and genuinely cared about my sobriety. Even after I said it wouldn’t work for me, she continued to check in weeks later. Because of that, I referred a friend who urgently needed help—and Ms. Bea has gone above and beyond anything I could have expected. She truly cares about people. BrickHouse clearly understands the importance of having the right people in these roles. We’ll continue care for my friend there, and I’ll always recommend BrickHouse—all from one phone call.

Whatever your view of detox centers, drug addiction or mental health, I would be remiss if i didn't thank the staff at Allumbaugh House for being a contributing factor in my survival. The specifics aren't important, except for the staff truly does care. Although I have been back several times, they truly do what they can to assist you in not only detox, but resources to continue sobriety upon leaving. Too many names to mention, but you all are saints.

After a terrible experience with another provider here in Boise who nuked his practice and got arrested, 988 hooked me up with Access Behavioral Health, who moved heaven & earth to get me in for an appointment with a prescribing physician inside of 3 business days. Every appointment with Susan/every interaction with the rest of the team at Access has been next-level fantastic. Their systems are great, their people are the best, and they have an excellent in-house pharmacy, to boot. Can’t say enough great stuff about these guys!

I sent A lot of of my life after abusive situations with therapists who never really took the time to understand me. They made me feel like oh we’ve had these sessions in your healed and convinced me that I was. I walked around for a long time thinking I was well adjusted before I found Carter. He has helped me in ways that no one else has and is painful as it is to drag this stuff up he is touching on things that make me feel like he really understands me and is going to be a huge help. On top of that, the doctor helping me with my meds Julie is wonderful. She treats me with so much respect. Everyone in the office does I will never leave these two. It is really hard for me to trust and break down my walls and they have been helping me do just that. And I can never repay them for that. I keep updating my review because of the insane improvement I’ve seen around the clinic. They were decent to begin with a few years back, but have become such a fantastic resource for my life, even outside of the normal medication dosing. The counselors are great, I love mine. The dosing staff are my favorite and brighten up my day every time I see them, the front desk person is cheerful and friendly and calls to remind me of appointments and upcoming changes, the clinic director is consistent and kind and supportive. I just can’t say enough good things. If you or someone in your life is questioning whether methadone is right, I regret every day I spent in suffering because I was worried about switching addictions or the “pink handcuffs” trope. People I love would still be alive if we had just tried methadone years ago instead of trying to do it ourselves. Since I got on methadone I’ve never looked back. Never had a relapse, my family trusts me again, I haven’t broken a law, I’m an upstanding part of the community and am respected and needed at my job. I’m happy and fulfilled, and proud of the man I became, and this clinic played a major role in that. Sorry for the novel, I just want people to see there’s freedom within those doors. You just need to walk in.

What can I say, BHG saved my life. I was using IV every day & with the help of the entire team I haven't used since 1/20/25.. Almost an entire year! There isn't one member of the staff who isn't invested in my recovery. The doctors care immensely about our success & do so safely. The counselors advocate fiercely for us and the nurses provide a judgement free loving atmosphere as we stumble through the weeds of recovery. BHG provides a safe medical setting with counseling to dose methadone. If you are tired of all the negative things that come with opioid addiction and want your life back, then what are you waiting for!? Give them a call it'll be the best decision you've made in a long time, it certainly was for me.

I've been going for four months now and their fantastic. If no one is there I can be in and out in less than a min. We all chit chat bc we all like them but that's if we don't hold anyone up. Their clean, not to busy and great. My counselor is very nice but tends to be a bit overbearing and such but it's bc she cares. If you truly want to get sober they'll help. They'll try and help you make good choices. If you just need it to keep from getting sick if you run out they'll keep you well enough. It works I'm clean. There's days but it works better than anything else.

I’ve been receiving Spravato treatments at this office and truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.The staff is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive every step of the way. They make a process that can feel overwhelming feel safe, calm, and actually hopeful. One of my absolute favorite parts of coming here is the therapy dogs. They are amazing—so sweet, comforting, and intuitive. They make the sessions feel less clinical and more like a place of healing. It’s impossible not to feel calmer and more grounded when they come in to say hi. I’m genuinely grateful for every person (and furry friend!) who’s been part of that journey.

I haven’t found such an all inclusive facility with amazing, kinds Drs, pharmacists and medical assistants. Theirs is the from desk and she is the best. I see Dr Deppo as my primary care Dr, my psychiatrist and miscellaneous things but they also have their own pharmacy in the building called GEONA it’s one stop, but I’d like to enforce that. I was court ordered to attend groups here and was not happy at first. I graduate next week and this program has changed my life forever. I can't be thankful enough for the genuine care and compassion I received by all involved. Had I known this type of help existed, I would have signed up years ago.
