About Zelus Recovery
Zelus Recovery is an addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment organization. They have two locations, including the treatment center in Meridian, Idaho. They specialize in treating adolescents and young adults with substance use disorder (SUD), primarily individuals ages 14-24.
The facility accepts insurance from most major health plans. They also have payment options available for uninsured clients. This outpatient recovery center is easily accessible from I-84 and Idaho Highway 55.
Treating Teens and Young Adults With Addiction
The facility specializes in supporting teens and young adults who face special age-based challenges when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction. Peer pressure is especially difficult for this age group, and many teens and young adults grapple with academic challenges, trauma and difficult family dynamics.
The program assists young clients in improving their confidence and navigating the difficulties of youth without turning to substances. Clients have remarked on how the program helped improve their confidence, family relationships and communication skills.
Convenient Addiction Treatment in the Boise Metropolitan Area
The center is nine miles from Boise, making it a convenient location for families. There are many community resources available that support healing. The 58-acre Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park is nearby.
This is a nice place for families to relax and recharge between therapy sessions. The park has public art, a community garden, a labyrinth, obelisks and room to roam. The treatment program stresses early intervention to prevent the escalation of substance use.
They integrate evidence based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with a holistic approach. They teach teens and young adults how to create healthy peer relationships, resist unhealthy peer pressure, and develop appropriate coping skills. Many families have credited the youth specialization and early intervention as being pivotal to helping a loved one turn their life around and maintain sobriety.

Other Forms of Payment
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.
Addiction Treatments
Levels of Care
The Intensive Outpatient treatment program for alcoholism or drug addiction includes three to four sessions a week. Because of the intensity, all services are available after school or work hours. We know people have important commitments and obligations, and we work to interrupt daily routines as little as possible.
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
Intervention services helps family or friends of addicts stage an intervention, which is a meeting in which loved ones share their concerns and attempt to get an addict into treatment. Professional intervention specialists can help loved ones organize, gather, and communicate with an addict. They can guide intervention participants in describing the damage the addict's behavior is causing and that outside help is necessary to address the addiction. The ideal outcome of an intervention is for the addict to go to rehab and get the help they need.
Treatments
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Drug rehab in Idaho provides treatment for addiction to drugs. It usually includes a combination of treatment methods that can involve counseling, medication, and a variety of evidence-based therapies. Programs are designed to help individuals manage their substance use disorder long-term.
Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.
Clinical Services
Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.
Addiction is often referred to as a family disease. One reason is the great impact parents and loved ones suffer when living with the daily challenges addiction can bring. Not only is it extremely difficult to watch someone struggle with substance abuse, but caregivers often forget to make sure their own needs are being met. Zelus Recovery can help people learn how to be there for their loved one and strategies for taking care of themselves.
Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
