Great place as far as the treatment goes. Stick to yourself

The staff and treatment offered here is excellent and life changing. They offer as much help as you need and truly care about your treatment and check in frequently with you to make sure that you're doing well and offer any support or advice you may need or want. Price is reasonable and treatment requirements are easy and manageable. I have been going here for several years and truly appreciate all they have done for me to be successful in my sobriety and life changing.

First and foremost I have to mention some All-Star staff members. Stephanie Med-Tech Generations. Kristy Med-Tech Generations. Ann Med-Nurse Generations. Friday Med-Tech Generations. Kim Charge-Nurse generations. Nancy Charge-nurse ICU, Torii psyc-tech. Keith Psych tech. East Ward. Courtney Social Worker East Ward. There were definitely other great staff members, but these 8 people stood out to me. I appreciate them all. Every doctor was pretty good also. If you don t think this place is helpful, then you aren t actually looking for help. If you go here please take it seriously. You have to do your part. Having said that, not everything and everyone was perfect. I found 95% of the staff to be amazing. However, there were some pretty unfriendly and rigid Tech s and Nurses. I don t think that approach works well in a place like this. It s already difficult to go there. Even if you truly want help, it s still not as easy as staying home. But, if you re ready or in need of help, then come here. I spent 9 days in Generations and 4 days in East Ward. Generations is much easier for sure. East was more rigid and strict and the patients were a lot more verbally abusive to staff. IMO that was the hardest part of my stay. I wanted to lose it on someone every time a patient was out of line yelling at a staff member, but it s not my place to get involved when I m a patient myself. Also, the cafeteria is kinda weak. It should be twice the size and twice as many options. Hire more cooks for each shift and expand it. I have a strict diet due to Chronic Pancreatitis and EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). There wasn t much to choose from. I had the pita and hummus plate at least 16 times in my 13 days. It s cucumbers, tomatoes and hummus. There was a 3 day stretch with ZERO cucumbers. That was really frustrating. I mean it s just a cucumber. Also, the older lady that is head cook is kinda rude and condescending. When I asked if they had cucumbers yet, she rolled her eyes and said, I told you yesterday we were out. How would I know that if it was the next day? If you happen to be vegan, then good luck. Your choices will be veggies and canned fruits. Having said that, at the end of the day the help I received far far far far outweighed any of the negative things. I am starting out patient group therapy there on Monday. I know I gotta do my part to continue to be a better version of myself. I am so thankful for this facility. 5 stars.

Been going here off and on since my son was four,we absolutely love all the staff and the counselors too.Very welcoming and helpful. Would never go to another counseling center,very happy with the services they offer

Great counselors for kids

I took my son here for a year. His counselor did amazing with him and I'm happy with all our sessions.

Please, when considering this facility. Take into account their may be a few disgruntled patients that gave low stars purely based on being held for their own good. I started my journey at this facility with that mindset. However, the staff and fellow patients quickly turned my experience around for the better. They're kind, caring, compassionate and genuinely have our best interest at heart. Of course, some staff were frazzled but..can you imagine what their job would be like? I was honestly surprised more of them weren't. If you have a loved one struggling with mental illness or just life in general. I'd HIGHLY suggest this facility. Or if you're simply reading this and have the means to donate anything. Please do, this place changed my life and they deserve to be around for a great while longer!

I have been a client at this location, off and on throughout two decades. So thankful, for the nursing, psychiatric care, and Social services, as well as all of the faculty and staff's help. The cafeteria, bedrooms, and lounges are clean, and the staff is friendly and caring from the moment you arrive. Without some of their nurses and psychiatrists help over the decades, I wouldn't have the mental wellness and health that I have gained as a result. This review is about the pediatric unit here. I am so thankful for them. They create a safe place for the kids to talk, they play with them, their interactions with them seem to be so sweet. And their endless patience with all my phone calls and questions, and always having answers, and showing that they were truly invested in getting to know the kids in ways that were appropriate to help them in any way they can was so reassuring. Even after my child was discharged, we had a tough moment and I called and spoke to both Andy and Trevor and they were so calm and gentle and gave the support they could to the best of their ability. Terri was the first one I spoke to there when filling out the initial paperwork and she handled my tears and general trainwreck-self like a champ. She was filled with so much compassion and gentleness and it really made me feel like my son was in a safe place. Trent, the social worker is AMAZING. I am so thankful for his insight and his work at finding different local services that could help us, but also just taking time to get to know my kid and really investing in helping my child and helping my husband and I coming up with some game plans, and making some suggestions. The whole team is really committed to helping these kids and I am forever grateful for them. The decision to have your child stay in a place like this is the hardest decision a parent can make. I am so thankful that it worked out well. And I am so thankful for the team there and their hard work and their care for the kiddos, that turned this situation into a good, growing experience.*edited to add* and I can't forget Dylan! She was quick to act when I had a potential medical concern, and thoroughly checked and took care of my concern! I had a question to ask after my child was discharged and when my child heard that I was talking to Dylan, said child wanted to just chat with her, and she willing engaged in conversation.**edit** sadly, i just called because my son had left some books there after his stay. I spoke to dylan, and despite the pleasant experience with her previously, when I called today she was quite cold and uncaring. Very disappointed in her demeanor after the experience I had while my son was inpatient and I was visiting. hopefully she isn't one to only pretend to care when parents are watching. I had to take a star off because of her attitude.
