Rainbow’s End Recovery Center, in the mountains outside Challis, Idaho is a residential drug and alcohol treatment center. They treat adults including those with a dual-diagnosis. Enjoy a homey, gendered residence with comfortable semi-private rooms. There are separate residences for men and women with a maximum of 14 clients in each. That means
Rainbow's End is a place for healing in a non-clinical environment. It offers non-traditional treatment with more one-on-one attention then other programs provide. It treats the whole person individually and provides education and tools through creative groups and outings. As someone who has been in and out of treatment centers throughout my life, I have never gotten the insight or perspective of recovery that Rainbows End gave me. My life is forever changed and enhanced because of them. Today I have over 7 years of recovery since walking through their doors. Forever grateful to them for leading me to a life I never knew I could have!

The healing journey from addiction began in the spring of 2020 when I pulled into the driveway at Rainbow's End Recovery. I was greeted with love, compassion and warmth from everyone. I felt welcomed. The beautiful character nestled alongside the Salmon River brings joy to my heart. I spent many days enjoying the landscape, feeding the horses and sitting by the river. I have so many wonderful memories of hiking, fishing, making music, making new friends, and taking the first critical steps in recovery. The meals and desserts were absolutely stunning. Loved the cowboy cookies! I am so grateful for Rainbow's End Recovery. A foundation was established in the time I spent there. Thank you to all the staff who loved me when I could not love myself and never gave up on me. Today, my life is filled with love, peace joy and adventure. Thank you all!

I enrolled my daughter here a few months ago. It is located in a beautiful location in the mountains w a nice river that flows by it. The facilities are nice and it is well run. Had a good staff to child ratio. The staff are caring and nice and the program is very well thought out. The counselor she has is very good and they are teaching valuable skills. My daughter seems to like it there and we couldn’t be happier.

I attended Patch for 6 months and it really changed my life! The staff at Patch are very caring and they work hard to make sure that the mistakes and issues you have had and done in the past do not define who you can become! They do test you and push your buttons sometimes, but it helps you to not have thin skin when somebody tries to push your buttons to annoy you. The DBT skills I learned there have helped me to deal with things now in a better way, rather than just lying or getting into useless arguments about things that end up not even mattering within a few minutes. The food at Patch was great, they supplied healthy food that got us through the day, and they made sure that it was made with love! I am now a senior in high-school and captain of my JV basketball team! I still today keep in touch with the Patch staff by calling the boys dorm and whenever I feel like I need to vent or just tell them about my day, they are always there to answer and listen!

Ashwood Recovery – Outpatient is part of Northpoint Recovery, a company dedicated to helping people break free from addiction. Since their inception, they’ve opened several rehab locations across the Pacific Northwest. This outpatient addiction center is located in Boise, Idaho. They also offer treatment at this location for individuals with a
Although I am rating Ashwood 5 stars I will be giving it a level of criticism. Skip to the end of this review if you want to see the cons. In terms of outpatient facilities here in the valley. It is hands down one of the best. I was able to get into Ashwood's program immediately, no wait lists required. The staff is friendly and cooperative. Ashwood gives you the choice of doing mornings or nights. If your schedule is a bit complicated they are very willing to work with you on your schedule. Giving you the option to do some mornings and some nights is a huge help to a complicated schedule. Ashwood provides you with a counselor you meet with once every other week. I found my counselor (and most other counselors in the facility) to be extremely helpful and willing to listen to my situation. If you make use of your time with Ashwood's counselors you will get great feedback and amazing advice. Now let's talk about the groups. This is where we get to the real meat and potatoes of Intensive Outpatient Programs. I did night IOP which was 3 days a week with each group lasting 3 hours. Groups are ran by the counselors at ashwood, and they provide 10 minute breaks at the top of each hour. There is a snack area that is always stocked with snacks. With that they coffee, water, and hot chocolate. Each group starts with a check in; name, sober date, drug of choice, feeling word, followed by a question of the day. From there you go into several therapy topics that the counselor will talk you through as the group progresses. I found a majority of the therapy topics discussed helped me greatly. The talking through the subjects, and group participation helped me immensely in my recovery. The handouts had a lot of great information, but I'm glad we did not dwell on them too long. I think group engagement and active teaching is a very good use of time in IOP. Not clinging to a handout at all times. IOP fosters an environment where you can freely share your feelings and beliefs. It is an amazing place to vent and work through your issues. There is plenty of time to get your two cents in each group. Counselors are also willing to stay and talk to you after IOP if there are any lingering topics you need to get off your chest. If you choose to open up and really work on yourself, this place will work for you. Overall Ashwood is a great pick for Intensive Outpatient programs. Cons: Communication between staff is an issue that needs to be addressed. I was a week and a half into IOP when I was contacted for an orientation session with my counselor. Where I was told I was supposed to have my session the week I started IOP. One patient did not get some important paperwork for short-term disability for 2 weeks after checking in many times and only got it done when he directly complained about the shortcoming in group. During a lot of my time at IOP counselors were informed of any changes to curriculum or schedule last minute. If you are coming to IOP from Northpoint Recovery this is an important one. Topics and curriculum seem to be copy and pasted in Ashwood. Northpoint highly encourages you to go to IOP after their program. If you are encouraging people to stay in IOP especially after coming from Northpoint. There needs to be differences in the curriculum. The same topic can be discussed, but it needs to be taught differently when you move from one facility to another. This is one of the issues that makes the patient think they do not need IOP and they exit early. The curriculum needs work. We had time once during group where we discussed the other things that need to be talked about. Inner child, dealing with the past, and ACE's should be given more time in group. Coping skills, negative self talk, breaking bad habits, forming good habits, attachment styles and PTSD especially need more groups as well. The topics at ashwood are great, but they require more than just one group to talk through them. Lastly weekly check-in sheets become extremely repetitive. I flat out didn't answer some questions by the end of IOP. The questions should change

Ashwood Recovery truly changed my life. When I first came in, I was lost, broken, and unsure if I could ever get back on track. The staff didn’t just treat me like a patient they treated me like a person. They listened, cared, and pushed me to see my own strength when I couldn’t see it myself. Every group, every counselor, and every moment there helped me understand that healing isn’t about being perfect it’s about showing up and trying again. I met people who reminded me that I’m not alone, and I left with tools that keep me moving forward every day. If you’re struggling or feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, Ashwood is the place that can help you rebuild. I’m deeply grateful for everything they’ve done for me.

Checking into Northpoint Idaho in Meridian was one of the best choices I've ever made. I started at raise the bottom about a month ago & I'm super lucky I had Amanda doing my intake. She made sure I did not feel one bit uncomfortable from the moment I walked through the door that morning. The way we connected was perfect, she made it so easy for me to come forward and be honest about my addiction, and that is never easy! Also my counselor Stephanie is amazing! I can open up to her and talk to her about anything and she always knows what to say. When i came in 2 different times for my assesment with Stephanie & Orientation with Amanda, they both offered me coffee before the appointments and let me make myself some! Just always so welcoming and i love that because as an addict going into places like that its hard because we're basically going in asking for help and thats never easy for someone going through an addiction. Dosing nurses! Those ladies do a great job. The hardest thing is getting stable on a dose while detoxing off a drug like fentynal. The way they care and walk you thru what to do while going through the symptoms is so touching. Ive never felt anyone care that much that i was in pain then my mother. I can say that if it wasn't for the staff at raise the bottom. I would not be off fentynal, and I wouldn't be wanting to go in everyday and dose..But I do because of them, because they made it to where I was comfortable to go in. Comfortable to be honest and open with them. Thank you all. ❤️ Everything I said was pure honesty & from the heart. You all are amazing & keep doing what your doing. First off I have to thank Jason Coombs, the owner of Brick House. A good friend of mine that went through this program set up a time to meet with him. Assuming the busy man that he is, he took time out of his day to meet me and hear my story. He is genuine, authentic, and truly cared about me and my recovery to sobriety. Both him and Archie were there with me through my initial detox. Through text and phone calls they were there with me every step of the way and luckily they were able to get me into the program very shortly after. Having this be my first treatment center I can honestly say that God put me here for a reason. Having first and foremost it being a faith base treatment center. It has reestablised my relationship with my higher power in such a way that has been infectious not only to me, but also to those around me. The curriculum and knowledge that the coaches, counselors, and staff have, has monumental in my strides towards my life long recovery. The program has been thought out in such a methodical and purposeful way. Not only for the people in treatment, but for their families too. They have programs set up for them to have a better understanding and gain on addiction. Everyone at Brick house recovery truly cares about every single person in treatment. Being an addict for 27 years. This is the first time I’ve been completely sober in 35 days. Yes I’m still early into my recovery, but I can honestly say that I could not have done this without this program. The physical part is one thing, but when you start digging into your emotional sobriety, that’s when the true work begins, and every person that works at Brick house knows what it takes to help you succeed. I’m gaining so much from this program and I’m learning so much about myself. More than I ever could have thought. Top notch care to the fullest!!

Brickhouse has been absolutely incredible. I've been going through the roughest time of my life for these past few years, and Brickhouse has really helped me see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The counsellors are amazing and so are all the people. It's filled with a bunch of people trying to better themselves and it's easy to relate to so many people and their experiences. I'm so incredibly grateful for everyone at Brickhouse!
