The service I received at this office was extremely unorganized. They have many issues reporting and submitting paperwork. Because of the lack of diligence of at least one counselor at this office I have had many problems with the DOL. It's been nearly three weeks since my treatment discharge and my paperwork still hasn't been submitted to the state. For being a counseling service it baffles me that it has created more stressed by the services. The folks there are very pleasant but from my experience they should be more in tune with the state and how they report information.

Spokane, Washington | The intensive outpatient program allows individuals to attend treatment more frequently than traditional outpatient services. The primary focus of this program is on group therapy. Clients learn how to manage cravings and learn methods for changing their behaviors. Family educational classes are also available. Clients who are interested in learnin | Treatments Programs Payment Options | New Horizons Care Center has been a lifesaver — and Dustin deserves major recognition.
I came in overwhelmed, trying to balance a new travel-heavy job while staying compliant with probation and UA requirements. Instead of taking my money and rushing me through intake, the front desk told me to hold off until we could confirm the program would actually work for my situation. That alone showed honesty and integrity.
When Dustin called, he didn’t give me a generic answer. He listened, asked the right questions, and walked me through what could be done. My case wasn’t routine, but he still said, “We’ll figure it out.” By the end of that call, he took me onto his caseload, and for the first time in a long time, I felt real hope.
Other facilities either didn’t offer telehealth or shut me down with quick “no, we can’t do that” responses. Dustin took the opposite approach — he cared, he problem-solved, and he helped me build a plan that kept my job on track while still meeting every treatment and probation requirement. After 25+ years of dealing with addiction programs, I have never felt this level of genuine care.
Huge thanks also to Chris, my telehealth counselor, who treated me like an individual and helped me find workable solutions so I never had to miss class or work.
And to the amazing woman who helped me get medical insurance — you went above and beyond, spending over two hours on the phone with me and providers so I wouldn’t be crushed by financial stress. I’m sorry I don’t remember your name, but I won’t forget what you did for me.
If you need a team that truly cares and actually helps you move forward, New Horizons — especially Dustin — is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Ask for Heidi. She IS what this business is all about. She truly has been a blessing and I am so grateful for her guidance and relatable feedback!
I consider myself very lucky to have ended up in her office for my assessment. (I truly believe it was not “by chance” and was no “accident”).
I say that because, in my experience, my success relied primarily on my ability to connect with my treatment provider. It played an essential part of my willingness to see things through and to fully open up. I needed to feel I was in a safe space. With someone who I could trust. Someone who I believed had my best interests in mind. Someone I felt had a genuine desire to aid in my recovery.
I proudly admit that she checked each and every one of those boxes. I had an instant connection with her and feel it remained that way, consistently, throughout the entirety of my treatment.
I owe her a giant “thank you” for her constant kindness, for her unique approach, and for her continued wisdom and encouragement.
She is an incredible asset to this field and the way that she genuinely care for those still suffering is inspiring and remarkably beautiful.
10/10 RECOMMEND!

I really enjoyed my treatment here! My counselor Dustin King is awesome. I can tell he genuinely cares for his clients and helped me to become the best version of myself that I have been for a very long time. He takes time and actually listened to what I said and made me feel like a person with value and not just another client to get through the process. I feel like a better person than when I started. I learned so much from him- he is extremely knowledgeable about recovery and mental health and gave me resources and advice that was particular to me and what would work for me. Very good counselor!!!
Also wanted to mention Rylie, he was my weekly group leader. He is awesome too. Very smart and attentively listened to everyone in group and even when I didn’t understand what the person was saying, he did! And always had a comment to respond in wisdom and guidance and also appreciates everyone’s input. I learned a ton from group! Rylie is very kind and patient with people as well.
Any ways I just had to leave a review because I read reviews and this place deserves 5 stars. I’m really happy with my experience here!!!🙂

Spokane, Washington | The partial hospitalization program generally offers up to 30 hours of treatment per week. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and couple’s counseling are provided. Clients meet for four to six hours at a time. Sessions are held five to six days each week. Brene Brown’s work is also provided at this level of care. The intensive | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I first found breakthrough in 2023, and the program was so great. I left feeling motivated to change, unfortunately life caught up to me and I didn’t use the many tools, resources and education they provided when I left and needed to return in 2025. They welcomed me back with no judgement and gave me the opportunity to grow once again. The counselors are all amazing, and they have the ability to guide you but also hold you accountable all while being supportive and genuinely caring. This place saved me, by giving me the confidence in myself that I can live a sober and joyful life. The many people I met throughout the program were a bright spot during my time there. Being able to meet people from all different backgrounds, but all having the common struggle with the disease humbled me and allowed so much growth to learn but also build genuine connections and friendships. It is hard work, and the need to take accountability for my own actions is what is needed to succeed, but Breakthrough was the place I felt most safe, seen and heard to accomplish a sober life. Forever grateful!

Breakthrough has been an amazing resource for me. They were able to help arrange a payment plan, and the groups are very beneficial to my recovery. The counselors are all kind and invested in helping their clients. Highly recommend to anyone ready to achieve and maintain sobriety. They offer various levels of treatment from PHP to Outpatient services.
Also, forewarning: they will hold you accountable. You may think your disease is "not that severe," or you can "control" it, but that's part of the disease. You have to be ready and willing because they expect your sobriety as part of the treatment. You dont get "kicked out" for relapsing. I knew multiple people with multiple relapses who continued to participate. You may be recommended to another facility for higher level of care if you CONTINUE to use after a relapse or multiple relapses with no improvement, as you are no longer suitable for outpatient care. Your care is discussed amongst staff meetings as a care team approach is generally recommended for this type of treatment; that is not a HIPAA violation as you agree to this when signing up.
EDIT: I was just discharged from treatment today. I have been sober for over 9 months, and I have Breakthrough to thank for this. They ensured proper continuity of care and referrals for mental health counselling. They made it known I can always reach out to them if needed despite completing my care here. Again, as I said, this program works. It's not easy, and you have to work with them. This isn't suitable for everyone as some people require higher level of care if they cannot stop use, and Breakthrough is honest about individual client needs. I recommended this to anyone who qualifies for Partial Hospitalization or lower level of treatments.

My name is Rodney Francis,I just graduated from ABHS on the GRE program 8/4/2025 I want to give a special thanks to all staff on duty and all the care team members for the positive experience that I had at ABHS you didn't only teach me about sobriety, but self-worth and who I really am.you all were so respectful and helpful and determined not to give up on me but to push me in to becoming a better me and who I am today, safe to say kinda like my personal life couch.you all was better then fair,to me you were all straight forward, honest and forgiving showed me compassion, support and guidance that I needed and gave me a second chance with the tool I'll need out here in daily life.

I just read the reviews for this place and allow me to retort.
First off this place saved my life. I checked into ABHS not knowing the program, their reputation, or the temperament of the staff.
The staff are a simply amazing!! Ms. B, Ms. Patrick, Ms. Moore, Ms. Womack, Mr. Torres, Mr. Van B., Mr. Prutsman, Ms. Wolf, Mr. Torres, Mr. Cuastic, Ms. Standfield, Ms. O’Brien, Mr. Guy, Ms. Aguilar, Ms. Dobins, Ms. Hamilton, Mr. Hirtch, Ms. Brown, Ms. Chichester, Ms. Wagner, the 3 Mr. Gs, Ms. Pagan, Mr. O, Mr. Hemple, Mr. Dock, Ms. Sumptner, Ms. Bopa, Ms. Wilamu, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Fouler, Ms. Lee, Ms. Karris, Ms. Davy, Ms. Nguyen, Mr. Cooper, and to any of you that I am forgetting I want to tell you all that I will always remember you all. You all were my rock when I needed it, you called me on my sh!t, helped me grow and learn, and got me started on my path to sobriety.
Ms. Standfield there are no words, you were my life coach, my safe place, someone who I admire, someone I want to be like, and you don’t do it for praise or fame. You took me under your wing, gave me so so so many gold nuggets to put in my backpack you made me rich. You are wicked smart and taught me how my childhood trauma affected me and how to not be victim to it anymore. When the student is ready……the teacher presents themself.
Mr. Van B., Ms. Brown, Ms. Davy, Ms. Chichester, and Mr. Prutsman you are fair, just, straight forward, honest, and forgiving. You showed me compassion, empathy, support, guidance, gave me second chances, and did not let me self destruct. You all are the best example of what true leaders are really are. For those reviews that try to disrespect and put a stain on all the good you do well they are absolutely wrong.
To those that have anything negative to say about this place well some of your expectations are a bit far fetched. First don’t bring a child to see their parent in rehab. It’s traumatizing and that trauma causes addiction so way to go. Also no you can’t leave rehab and go to the store to buy contraband. You could have brought drugs into rehab causing a relapse or a overdose. What gives you the right to miss treat the staff and expect them to take it and allow you to stay. All of these behaviors are of someone not willing to commit to being sober. If you can’t learn to behave like normal people and follow rules in a safe place how can you expect to do that in the real world.
My point is this the program at ABHS is working for those that want to be sober. I have been to rehab 3 times and I just graduated on 6/18 and it’s the last time I am ever going to rehab because this place taught me how to stand up on my own two feet get past my abuse, my low self astern, looking for my worth from others, and help shape me into the man I am today.
Sure rehab has rules some of them may seem weird or even dumb at times but they are there to teach you to retrain you to prepare you as best they can so when you walk out of their doors into the real world you are ready to succeed at a sober life.
For those that got booted you know what if you would have apologized taken your lumps and showed that you were truly sorry for your acts they would have allowed you back in. ABHS doesn’t say no to anyone. They let you come back again and again. This is a good place run by people that are trying to save people’s lives. They’ve seen everything that you can think of and do the best they can. However, we as addicts have to meet them halfway if we don’t want it, what they teach won’t stick and we won’t be prepared and we will go back in use. It’s up to us to choose the right thing to make good choices and to heal if that’s what you want then this is the place you wanna go to because they will make sure with every fiber of their being to try and help you to teach you to show you empathy and compassion, in your darkest moment they are the light that guides you to a path of sobriety. And anyone says different than they weren’t ready to be sober in the first place.

I came here 2018. I was 15 (now I'm 20)it was great when I was there. Staff & therapists,( Jason was my counselor) , They were nice , accepting & caring. There was also many activities : Horse back riding, Rock climbing, Boxing, Gym, Dance classes, Yoga, laser tag, pool party, looking at puppies Etc. The Food was Great & always gave us snacks. They gave us Bath and Both works & Makeup palletes every weekend. It was a great rehab & it helped me out a lot is what I can say. I seen some review of people who I went to the facility with and I can say That what she said isn't even close to True & She was In the just To start Problems (She was a Karen) . If you don't want to be in a rehab or need to be in one in general don't be in there just to Start Problems because there's people who do want the help & this place will help you so I definitely recommend it. If you say this place is bad , clearly you've never been to Foster Care cause this place Was Great. Idk How it is Now But my Experience there was Amazing.

Marion, Montana | Wilderness Treatment, located in Marion, Montana is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions including alcoholism, co-occurring mental health disorders, and opiate addiction. They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery. Additional levels of care offered inc | Treatments Programs Payment Options | When I was 24, my addiction to prescription medication had spun wildly out of control. So much so that I crashed my step fathers car I was borrowing into a lake and don’t remember a single bit of it. The next day, sitting in a jail cell, I told myself I had had enough. I have a friend that had gone to WTC so I called them first without even trying anywhere else and immediately knew this was the place for me. WTC and the counselors/staff that work there without a doubt saved my life. This place is fantastic, but don’t be fooled. If you go here, expect to work. It’s not sit around and watch tv rehab, you’re expected to do certain things and act certain ways. It sounds hard I know, but I promise you if you’re serious about getting help for yourself, even if you’re being forced by your parents to do this, please give WTC a chance. The work pays off 10 fold.

I attended WTC 3 years and 5 months ago, my first time trying out the sobriety aspect. This place saved my life and truly push me to change into the better person I am now. If I could comment on other people’s 1 star reviews. I would say. It sounds like those people were not willing to get sober. Making up excuses to make it sound like it wasn’t everything that it was cut out to be. Especially co dependent parents who comment saying not to send there parents to a place that will eventually help their kids out in the long run. All in all if you want to change your life. Go here, if you don’t. Then you truly haven’t hit your bottom in life.
I work in recovery now. Due to this program, my life has changed for the better and I have everything I could ever want to keep me happy in this life.

Sadly they have been shut down. 2 families sued them because their son’s ran away and were brought back by police. The boys were unharmed but apparently the families were angry enough to put them out of business. Very very very sad. It was a place that did a lot of good for a lot of people.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho | Innercept offers intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment for individuals with a mental health diagnosis. The program includes aftercare support, individual counseling, holistic therapies and more. Innercept is located at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Innercept is dedicated to provide treatment for individuals with a mental health diagnosis. The compa | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Well, I’m a special teacher in the morning for College and A licensed marriage family, and therapist at night for myself. Let me tell you this is the most amazing place. This place let me sleep at night. I could sleep at night because the care at this facility was above and beyond. My child carries many diagnosis. She was adopted at birth and has been through trauma in utero exposure, and her birth parents had mental illness. This place had amazing staff and protocol for a gentle way to help a young teenagers self regulate. We were able to receive trauma counseling, individual counseling family therapy, and my child’s medication’s were finally working for her thanks to this place and the changes they made. Her therapist was so experienced and on target and helped not only my child heal, but the continuation of our family healing as we had a crime in our house by a trusted neighbor of five years. Little by little self harm stopped or reduced little little hospitalizations reduced and got father apart. They help my child go to school for three hours a day on site. my child enjoyed the cows across the street. They went above and beyond for my child 16th birthday. Not only is this place, professional detailed and oriented towards child centered complex cases. The staff have a heart and give more than 100%. Our school district had to work with them even though they’re not California approved. I was very worried and asked for three parent recommendations before I even placed my child in this program. As you know, if you’re reading this review, you’re making one of life’s hardest decisions and one that you never wanted to make. All the best - I am glad there are programs like this, and I hope they stay in business forever. One satisfied, grateful parent who was in tears when my child was ready to move to the next level due to progress-scared that the next program may not match the quality of this program. Warm wishes on your journey as a parent in this hard process

When you only have one option for your child the level of trust, you have to have in a program (2000 plus miles away)like this is extremely nerve-racking.
And no, it doesn’t stop.
But it does diminish when you feel you are in the right place.
No program is perfect.
But these people seem to really care about the child.
Have no illusions that there will be peaks and valleys with your child.
But I have the trust that Innercept always has a child and the family‘s best interest to resurrect any issue.
Innercept tries to attack the root cause before the issue, not the issue after the fact.
Beautiful location, lots and lots of prairie dogs, and a very solid program.

So I didn’t realize how much this program would help until I began to actually implement the behaviors. It wasn’t easy but you can change too. The reason I was admitted was able to be changed. Years then to now their therapy still enables me to communicate confidently. These people really know how to implement change for yourself to have the rest of your life to live.
