I've been at tamarack for a while now both with one on one therapy and alcohol treatment...it's a breath of fresh air, to have a place that not only understands that life happens and self care is important but that we are all imperfect in our own ways. They dig deep in getting to know you, your childhood - adult years to better establish the core beliefs and root causes of your issues. I highly recommended and also believe that every one star on this review is from individuals that probably didn't take accountability or personal responsibility for their own actions. The best experience I could have hoped for going into rehab. You instantly feel welcomed from the staff and know that they care about you and your recovery instead of making you feel bad about your past choices. The facility is super clean with cozy rooms and a rec room for meals and hanging out with plenty of activities and shows to watch when not in sessions. My Journey with Royal began at 7:30 am on Thursday April 12, 2026. After two months, I believe that I am in the midst of a miracle unfolding. I first admitted that I was an alcoholic at age 20. I am now 60 years old and have experienced the painful path of self destruction and hopelessness that my plague unleashes for four decades. The entire staff at Royal ARE INCREDIBLE humans, and I am very grateful for their knowledge and dedication. I don't know what the final scene of the play of my life will look like, but the script has shifted and there is a very good chance that it can and 'WILL' have a happy ending!!!! Royal life centers in my personal opinion is one of the greatest treatment centers I've ever been to I've never been to treatment before in my life but this treatment center in my opinion is really really good the staff that works there in Sumner Washington and in Spokane Washington the medical staff to bht's the bosses everybody involved that works in both those places in my opinion they do more than their job description these people that are currently working there you really do care they go above and beyond they all have a really great heart a really great sense of humor and they all help everyone out the environment there is so hospitable I've never experienced anything like this before in my life they definitely made me feel like I was family like I was loved and I don't know any of them but by the grace of God I know a lot of them now and I thank God and them for being a part of my recovery God bless all of you.... Just did 3 days in ICU/ACU for some problems. Very impressed, especially considering the volume they deal with. Everyone on the fifth floor treated me like their own grandpa and I was very comfortable there. Every doctor I spoke to gave me more confidence in the expertise of this medical group. I was treated with the up most respect and dignity. I was brought to Calsipel from ER woke up and staff was offering food and shower. They moved my room when my roommate was not suitable to be around others. Line staff saved me from making a terrible mistake in leaving or at least trying to leave. My life is going well. I can’t speak highly enough of Riverside. Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable. The counselors are amazing and really try to work with you. They have a lot of group options which made it easier to balance my treatment and my other stuff. They took time to answer all my questions and concerns and worked with my probation too. And the price for care is reasonable. Also they have dental and pharmacy as well as mental health. They also have a variety of children's mental health services which are amazing. This clinic has grown and done so well started out a bit rough nearly a year and a half ago but they have worked out all the kinks since I started the director jumps in and helps wherever needed the doctor is super fast to respond Lisa the head nurse is the most amazing person and staff member they have she deserves the most! It used to be such an issue when I wanted to taper now they all work together and get ish done so fast! I’m nearly never late to work anymore actually always early I give myself plenty of time but they work together so well to get you in and out you don’t have to worry much anymore! Of course issues out of their control can arise like having a gas smell and having to evacuate at one point but they communicated with everyone and once back in they busted through the doses and were caught up so fast I was super surprised when I came back an hour later and dosed I cannot tell you how amazing this clinic is how personal the staff is they all want what is new for each patient and I truly believe that! If you want to change your life Spokane Treatment Center is the place to start! Michelle is the absolute best counselor she’s like a cheerleader there when you need her and rooting you on every visit! They are all super responsive and supportive Yvonne is a great director you won’t be falling through the cracks you will be given every tool you need to succeed! lol they even all hav a sense Of humor loved the Christmas tree decor!

Everyone whom works here is great. They want to help. The only gripe I have is the hours. It's not such a big deal if you only have to come in once a week, or once every other week....but when you have to come in daily, it makes working hard to do. I have an understanding boss, but if I didn't, I'm not sure what I would do. My counselor is awesome. The front desk ladies are awesome, as are the nurses who pass the medicine, and the woman whom runs the program. All of them want to help, and it is evident by their actions. If you are in need of MAT services, I recommend looking into becoming a patient here at STC.

I would love to recommend this place for it was a big healing journey for me to begin my true sobriety life , I've been in this program for five months , meeting new people whom had the same struggle or not , we are were able to relate in some ways or another , each have a story to tell , the councillors also helped me and one specific councillor truly even today is helping me and I am grateful, I feel blessed and love. I am happy to continue on with my sobriety and pray for others to also seek the help they may need . Everything and everyone was so welcoming when I was so scared to start yet by faith ,I took another step each day and this place taught me so much about myself and remembering who I really am . Went to Colonial Clinic November 2020, and I am so incredibly grateful I found them. At the time I attended (I hope it's still the same to this day) they require attendance of an outside support group, and strongly suggest getting a sponsor. I followed the suggestions and am still with the same sponsor to this day (May 2023). Did Colonial fix my problems? No. But it was a great first step coming here. That's why I give them five stars, because they kick-started my lifelong recovery process.

Genuinely fantastic. It's been some 560 days since I was released. I stayed for a total of 228 days (around 7 months) and throughout that time, the help from the structured schedule, supportive staff, thoughtful and professional clinical team, and talented chefs all enabled me to learn how to live again. Before Tamarack, I was deeply struggling. I'm talking difficulty with personal hygiene, severe depression and anxiety, oversensitivity, overthinking, and serious spiraling among other things. I learned how to cope with my feelings, interact with others again, make thoughtful decisions, how to set boundaries, and in a general sense, how to live again. During my stay, I lost around 50 lbs, learned more about myself than I had ever previously, made friends, was taught a helpful therapy type called DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), learned how to properly advocate for myself, and started reforging relationships with my family. The programs included off campus outings that you could earn by having a high enough rating in their behavior system, fun recreational activities, group activities such as creating posters or masks, and time to enjoy hanging out with other clients. They have a privelage system in place that you are able to make (I believe they are called) Monitors for certain things in your room (lamps, white boards, loom supplies, knitting, crochet, etc, etc). When I was there, there were weekly meetings that the millieu would come together and discuss issues, achievements, and the general well-being of the community in a client council. You were able to run for positions in the council, such as president and treasurer. The treasurer would manage funds and a client run candy and beverage shop. You can fill out requisition forms to ask for certain things to be bought (books, a game etc, etc) or for a change to be made (I asked for a golden perler head minion I made to be hidden around the building in an elf-on-the-shelf type game). School there was online school. Each day you could earn tickets to use at the end of the week at a school store. Other than showing up each day, you can get tickets from doing a daily word research activity (you find a word, write the definition, and use it in an example sentence), or from scoring high enough on tests. The food was good, clients get a full meal 3 times a day and snacks 2 or 3 times a day, if I remember correctly. The outings, depending on the season, could include hikes, plays, movies, pumpkin picking, or even Silverwood! Clients are also able to make a monitor to have a contract with Tamarack and get paid for cleaning around the building. It's very nice. All in all, I really loved my stay. It helped me out of the hole I was in and enabled me to start living my life. Right now, I'm a senior in high school, helping out with my school's student government, helping plan and create events and monthly themes, exploring my interests, and making significant progress in my life. I understand that not everyone will have had the same experience, but, in my personal opinion, if you really give this a try, you go as all out as you can, and you open yourself to change and get along with the staff and program, you can go very, very far.

The staff there are absolutely wonderful. They truly care for you and your situation and try and make you feel as comfortable as possible for you and your child or children. I am starting to understand that acute facilities such as these serve one purpose, to keep a patient safe after a crisis. There seemed to be no interest in the long term success of the patients they serve, and there was no communication with family or the patient (in my case a daughter who is barely 18) to develop a plan for follow-up care or discuss medication management. My daughter told the nurse practitioner she didn t feel ready to go home and they sent her home anyway (it had only been 5 days). I have ended up calling the Crisis Line twice since she was release 5 days ago. I am waiting for the next thing that will set my daughter into a mental breakdown and feel completely dissatisfied.

Just started at sparc a couple weeks ago and it s been great! The sense of community they bring in is awesome. Always a broad variety of people so you definitely won t feel like an oddball. I ve been to other counciling places that just don t teach you much. They definitely have a standered and stick by it. Especially for taking state insurance!
