I highly recommend these guys for counseling and their parenting class they just started offering! The parenting class alone is worth looking into! The teacher is great and the content was SUPER helpful!

My visit today with Christopher Jankowski he answered all my questions with patience which gave me much confidence to speak to him frankly about what is going on in my life.

Crosspointe Family Services was the best resource I ever found for my son! I was at my wits end with his behavior and I felt like he needed more help than what the other places had offered. After getting signed up with Crosspointe He had counseling and had participated with the outreach programs as well. It took a couple tries to get the right Counselor fit but they were great in helping him feel comfortable. The staff that helped us were truly a God send! I can not recommend them enough!!! They helped us so much and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them! Counseling, case management, peer support, Cbrs, along with groups for kids and adults! Most all agencies have a wait list but their programs are worth waiting for.

I had the privilege of working with Mark at Ostermiller Counseling, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the time I spent there. Mark's demeanor, professionalism, and friendliness made every session something I genuinely looked forward to. He possesses a deep well of skills, knowledge, and abilities that truly set him apart. Throughout my sessions, I learned a wide variety of practical skills that have transformed the way I approach life's complexities and challenges. Even though I completed my sessions a few months ago, I often find myself reflecting on what I learned and continuing to apply those insights daily. The tools and perspectives I gained have made my life significantly better, helping me navigate difficult situations with a much healthier outlook. I highly recommend Mark and Ostermiller Counseling to anyone seeking meaningful and lasting change in their lives. Also have to give a shout out to the awesome office staff. They were great to work with too!

Mark Hobbs was fantastic for both me and my wife. He was able to help us through a variety of problems and gave us the tools we needed to succeed in overcoming addiction, strengthening mental health and bolstering our marriage and managing expectations. In my opinion, he very much understands the concept of self-actualization and a strengths based perspective of overcoming problems. He knows his stuff and was able to provide us with resources to begin helping ourselves. I am grateful for his work. That said, I recognize that not every counselor is for everyone else. If he isn't your style, there is nothing wrong with finding another counsellor. Best of luck.

I really like them

Art, craft, music, meditation, and yoga once daily. Gym. Basketball. Community trips. Give ideas to staff like snack cart, food, trips, gym, crafts and walks, Cna's, Med pass, Blood draw, Md...l did my own clothes in washer and dryer, brush hair and teeth, shower, and toilet myself. Even dressed myself.

I was there in 2019 June and July but I still had voices telling me to stick my head in the river and keep ot there so I went in August too.The first day I was there I couldn't go outside for fresh air, that is one of rules. I really like the arts and crafts time, they even finished my hat for me. The 3rd time (Feb-April 2023) I went they didn't have church ministry anymore because of Covid but I think they have live feeds from a church. The ones that are charged from jail say it's like a 6 week vacation. They have a lot of motivation to keep your bed clean and walking to get snack cart coupons. I want to send the library Luis Palau Movie and Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea. They play a lot of Avengers movies or super hero ones. Heather was a good provider and I had a nice clinician too. I'm trying to think of what they could improve on. In the groups I felt a little vulnerable sharing fears but I liked the saying we're not here to make friends we're here to work on yourself. There was a patient that kept saying he had 7 baby mommas and his grandma took pictures of all of them. I liked having the earphones to listen to music too. Mike rocks!

I was committed by Twin falls county 4 times and Bannock County 1 time to State Hospital South. This was 5 times In a 3 year period. The longest they kept me was 7 weeks even though my family and I both desperately plead with the hospital and courts for more time to get things right. They are over flooded with commitments from all over the state and it's in their interest to keep people moving through even if they require more time to stabilize. Other than this 1 complaint I was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity and I am a chronic pain patient and at the time which was 2009,2010, and 2011 they worked with my home providers to keep my high dosages of opioids going while at the hospital. I realize in today's world they probably would not do the same for me but at the time if I would have been pulled off my methadone and Oxycodone it would have sent me into a further spiral so I'm very thankful that they treated this in a humane manner. I probably would have not returned so many times back to back if I just would have been given more time the first time or second time around. I hope they read this and keep this in mind when rushing patients into discharge. It would have saved the state dept of health and welfare and the courts and my insurance a lot of money to just keep me a little longer the first time. I often waited 30 days sitting in St Luke's Canyon View in Twin Falls after my commitment was official before a bed opened at SHS which just shows you how full they are always kept or was at that time period. I only imagine things have got worse now with so many people from other states moving to Idaho. I live in California now which is my home state and the hospitals here are horrible compared to in Idaho. It's been a long time since I have been in one but my best hospital memories are at State Hospital South. They have a patient library, cafe, completely separate medical clinic for health problems and we were allowed to walk outside in open grounds. They even took us on a activity to go bowling at a local bowling alley in Blackfoot. You have to remember many reviews of mental health facilities are bad but that's what you get when the population they serve are forced into the hospital by legal holds and commitments against their will. I am one of the few ex patients that see my going here as something that saved me from myself at the time. I have a lot of appreciation for the hospital.

The Center is so very helpful. It is a safe space for me and my family for over 3 years now. They are just absolutely wonderful with my child! Suzette is open, honest and insightful. Her first priority is comfortably. The entire staff is so supportive in the community with Mental Health acceptance and all of the community resources, often working close with other counselors at all of the centers in town. The selflessness of engaging other centers to support everyone in Blackfoot is refreshing. If the center is not a good fit for your needs-they are committed in reference to do what is best for the client and the knowledge of counselors at other places gives the insight needed for success for the patient. My personal experience with Suzette is a great fit for us and I could not recommend her enough. My growth has been expansive in all areas of my life and I could not have done it without her guidance. 1,000% recommend

This place has helped me so much in my recovery. I don't know where I would be today if they were not there. They have taught me all skills I need to be successful on my journey. Don't get me wrong but I have had my set backs but they have always been there to help me with getting back on the right track. I am truly thankful for the wonderful people that I have worked with.

They have a great staff at Gateway Counseling, they are always very helpful, friendly and welcoming every time I have been there!!

great program I recommend anyone in the state hospital of Wyoming to get in this program if they have availability learned my lesson about breaking rules and bad behavior while in it now I have a better life in Florida with my father and mother.

I got a DUI, went these folks. They helped me figure out why I drank and drive. I even got closure on something that been bugging, good smart people, keep up the good work.

My time at Curran-Seeley is, to date, the most important time in my life. Thanks to their empathetic, kind counselors, and elastic curriculum, I have been able to maintain my sobriety for over 5 years. The coping tools that Curran-Seeley helped me cultivate have been priceless and crucial to my ongoing success in sobriety. Accepting personal responsibility is hard (which, I suspect is the cause of these lower ratings), but when I finished treatment at Curran-Seeley, I was emotionally stronger, had rediscovered my morals/values, and became a person whose skills and talents have been employed to help others who are struggling. I owe my life to my time spent with Curran-Seeley.

Dr. Gee is the best, greatest, kindest ever! The staff, case works, nurses, techs, rec therapy, everyone was super! I would like to mention names of other greats, sorry if I leave anyone out and in no paticular order-Tanner, Laura, Steve, Joe, Trina, Jess, Jessica, Joseph, kat, Natalie, Carlos, Emma, Andrew and Dr. Cody just to name a few. Thank you for your kindness, consideration and dedication to this great work! Thank you for teaching me about coping skills - stop, step back, observe, proceed. Radical acceptance, sleep hygene, distress tolerance, assessing your life balance, reframing, DBT- mindfulness, and being introduced to AA. I believe my golf swing has improved due to the breathing, and stretching technique lol. I hope this review reflects the kindness and love shown towards me during my 7day. Goodbye and thank you!

despite all of the bad reviews I had a really positive experience there in my time of need they helped me in every aspect they could I read the reviews before going there and I was hesitant but it was a super awesome I highly recommend it

I was very scared to check my self in here but I knew I needed help. If you voluntarily admit yourself then you have a say in when you can leave, as long as you are not going to harm yourself or others. The first day was really rough but it did get better. The doctor was able to evaluate my meds and make changes. They set up appointments for outside resources like finding a counselor and psychiatrist. They have different group therapies throughout the day but it isn’t talk therapy it is eduction, art, music, and exercise. They also have a TV in the day room and games and books. You will get your own private room and bathroom with a shower. They provide plenty of meals, snacks, and drinks including soda and coffee. The food is pretty decent and you get to choose from a variety of options on the menu including desserts. The people here are nice and they want to be able to work with you to make you feel better. The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is because the beds and pillows suck. They will give you extra pillows and they have mattress pads if you ask to try and make you more comfortable. If you need anything just ask them and they will do their best to get you what you need. It can be very scary and overwhelming to get help but I really recommend an inpatient stay here.

The staff is too rude and do not understand the concept of help. The only thing they want is to have a lot of free time, and that's why they treat you quickly but mediocrity. It is not recommended if what they want is a useful service
