The Walker Center changed my life. I was terrified, I had never been in treatment before, I just knew it wasn’t for me. Little did I know just how amazing and life changing my 2 months with the Walker Center would be. I owe my life to the amazing staff and know that I wouldn’t still be here today if they hadn’t have helped me. Seeing the world from sober eyes has been an amazing experience, one that I won’t ever take for granted. They gave my kids their mom back… I can’t say enough good about this place. If you need help, I highly recommend giving The Walker Center a chance. The staff, lectures, groups, food, classes and atmosphere were all great. Thank you Walker Center.

I went to moonlight mountain in caldwell, Idaho. I was at the co-accuring program. I know my past traumas and secrets are why I used substances. I was there at the Purple Sage house. I SPENT 60DAYS IN THE PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM. I LEARNED MORE THAN I EVER HAVE IN 30 + YEARS ABOUT MY MENTAL ILLNESS AND MY TRAUMA HOW IT HAS LEAD TO MY DRUG USE. I HAD THE HONOR OF WORK WITH COUNSELORS AND THERAPISTS THAT VALIDATED MY FEELINGS AND ALLOWED ME TO BE MY TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF. They administered a vaccine to my daughter , a minor , without consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We called and requested 2 vaccines ( yellow fever and malaria) so my daughter can go on a humanitarian trip to Africa. They set up the appointment.
My wife sent a permission slip with our daughter to receive the “ required “ vaccines. The nurse then advised my daughter it is recommended she also get the typhoid vaccine, rabies, and get a booster for meningitis. My daughter being unsure of the situation and the funds needed for the vaccines declined the rabies shot but accepted the others ( which drove the price up another $100 ) as the meningitis was covered by insurance but typhoid wasn’t.
Not sure how they get away with doing more than was requested with a minor. Maybe I’m missing something. Luckily the typhoid vaccine is pills she can take so we were able to return those and get her money back. Pretty frustrating situation.

Brickhouse Recovery is the best place to go for faith based treatment. You know your loved and cared about as soon as you walk in those doors. If it wasn’t for this place I would have continued down the addiction road and things would have ended up badly for me. I love each and everyone of the staff there and I am forever grateful for Brickhouse.

I wish I had gone sooner! Plenty of great counselors that don't judge your situation. I learned a lot in IOP and I am now confident in my ability to achieve lasting sobriety with the tools I was given.
Special thank you to both Melissa Larsen and Sarah Walling-Gifford for consistently supporting me through a very traumatic time in my life and never letting me feel alone. I will forever be grateful for the Walker Center!

I would say very competent and compassionate counselors, helpful staff, everyone who works here is great. I've received good care from The walker Center outpatient treatment in Twin Falls and I have great confidence that my future will be successful in part because of this treatment center.

This place likely saved my life. Very good program with a lot of education and self help. Staff phenomenal, the counselors, the CSS's, I mean everyone is supportive, helpful and super nice. The food is good and you get fed plenty. My experience here has been amazing.

I have ALWAYS had a good experience here when i have to test. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Yea its ridiculous to have to pay so much every month, but thats the state and government for ya. All in all if certain people have bad things to say about a testing center then ya shouldnt have gotten in trouble in the first place. They are just doin thier jobs.

This is a substance abuse and mental health clinic. They provide several classes for both as well as one on one counseling services. I highly recommend their services. The staff are all very friendly and attentive as well as the staff who conduct the urinalysis tests.

I HAVE to give an amazing review! Cody Jameson is the best doctor I have on my team (I have so many so that says a ton!) . You can tell he loves his job and he treats his patients so well. I can talk with him about literally anything, I even asked him if he'd ever thought about going into counseling- he's that good. I've already recommend him to every single family member, it's a no brainer. He's jumped through so many hoops for me to make sure I get the care I need. Even going to war advocating for me with insurance companies. He's the one you're looking for and I promise from the bottom of my heart he's the best in town. The best!

I had the privilege of working with Mark at Ostermiller Counseling, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the time I spent there.
Mark's demeanor, professionalism, and friendliness made every session something I genuinely looked forward to.
He possesses a deep well of skills, knowledge, and abilities that truly set him apart. Throughout my sessions, I learned a wide variety of practical skills that have transformed the way I approach life's complexities and challenges.
Even though I completed my sessions a few months ago, I often find myself reflecting on what I learned and continuing to apply those insights daily.
The tools and perspectives I gained have made my life significantly better, helping me navigate difficult situations with a much healthier outlook.

Mark Hobbs was fantastic for both me and my wife. He was able to help us through a variety of problems and gave us the tools we needed to succeed in overcoming addiction, strengthening mental health and bolstering our marriage and managing expectations. In my opinion, he very much understands the concept of self-actualization and a strengths based perspective of overcoming problems. He knows his stuff and was able to provide us with resources to begin helping ourselves. I am grateful for his work.
That said, I recognize that not every counselor is for everyone else. If he isn't your style, there is nothing wrong with finding another counsellor. Best of luck.

Our family and friends have utilized Ostermiller Counseling for many years and for many different reasons. I can’t say enough good about Mark Hobbs specifically. He has helped us navigate anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and more with compassion, kindness, professional, and personalized care. Everyone needs to find a counselor who is a good fit for them and their needs. Mark has absolutely earned our trust.

Edit: Im changing my review because the of the promtness of the front office staff. They had reached out to try and amend my experience, which was extremely warming. I still want to leave my original view up for reference.
I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but I want to share my experience in case it helps someone else. I went to this practice on a friend’s recommendation, and I understand that not every therapist and client will be a good fit. I didn’t expect to be “fixed” after one session, but I did expect to feel heard or at least seen.
During my appointment the clinician appeared to rely heavily on an AI tool (ChatGPT). She sat with her back to me for most of the session, asked questions from a pre-written form, pasted my answers into the software, then read back a summary and asked, without making eye contact, “Does this sound like you?” This went on for more than half of the session. When she finally turned to me, she asked what my favorite color was, which felt out of place given how anxious and vulnerable I was.
Overall the visit left me feeling dismissed, discouraged, and more hopeless than when I arrived. I’m still looking for a provider who will listen, engage, and help me work through my concerns. If you’re seeking therapy, don’t be discouraged if your first experience was like mine, go elsewhere and keep looking until you find someone you genuinely connect with.

despite all of the bad reviews I had a really positive experience there in my time of need they helped me in every aspect they could I read the reviews before going there and I was hesitant but it was a super awesome I highly recommend it

I was very scared to check my self in here but I knew I needed help. If you voluntarily admit yourself then you have a say in when you can leave, as long as you are not going to harm yourself or others. The first day was really rough but it did get better. The doctor was able to evaluate my meds and make changes. They set up appointments for outside resources like finding a counselor and psychiatrist. They have different group therapies throughout the day but it isn’t talk therapy it is eduction, art, music, and exercise. They also have a TV in the day room and games and books. You will get your own private room and bathroom with a shower. They provide plenty of meals, snacks, and drinks including soda and coffee. The food is pretty decent and you get to choose from a variety of options on the menu including desserts. The people here are nice and they want to be able to work with you to make you feel better. The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is because the beds and pillows suck. They will give you extra pillows and they have mattress pads if you ask to try and make you more comfortable. If you need anything just ask them and they will do their best to get you what you need. It can be very scary and overwhelming to get help but I really recommend an inpatient stay here.
